Was there an effort by Target to not hire blacks? I’m sure any black or anyone for that matter could apply and get a job there if they wanted. I won’t write off target but they won’t be my first choice for shopping.

This is really stupid. Their current percentage is pretty much right at the current percentage for the population for the US, it is 14%. They are actually already exceeding the diversity of the country at 15%. Idiots at work.

No sense hiring and promoting based on qualifications when you can go broke through virtue signaling. Forcing the myth of "racial equity" through policies of affirmative action is not sensible.

If Blacks are only about 13% of the US population and they are already at 15% of Target's employees why should that percentage be upped by 20%. Is this simply a response to 'blackmail' by rioters?

And now, even the most qualified and outstanding black employees at Target will be looked at suspiciously. The internal polls must be bad. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did a complete 180 on Thursday and called for rioters to be prosecuted. We support peaceful demonstrations. We participate in them. They are part of the essence of our democracy. That does not include looting, starting fires, or rioting. They should be prosecuted. That is lawlessness,” Pelosi said. It’s too late, Pelosi!

Decked out like he was headed down the runway at a fashion event, perfectly manicured hands and sculpted hair, the governor likely didn’t have permission from those property owners

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, including Sen. Kamala Harris, are calling on the Justice Department’s watchdog to investigate whether a probe led by U.S. Attorney John Durham violates Justice Department policy. Durham, is investigating the origins of the Trump-Russia probe and other intelligence-gathering activities related to Donald Trump and his associates. “We write to request that you investigate whether U.S. Attorney John Durham’s investigation complies with Department of Justice policies, including policies that protect criminal investigations from political influence,” a group of 10 Democratic senators wrote to Inspector General Michael Horowitz on Thursday.
