You might think that people who get paid to write for prestige publications would be better journalists than mere bloggers, but then you encounter people like David Graham, who not only writes for the Atlantic, but actually teaches journalism at Duke University. In a remarkably counterfactual column Tuesday, Graham claimed that the riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, “could cost Trump the election.” While his primary object was to amplify Democratic talking points — accusing President Trump of “making every effort to stir up racial tension and provoke violence after the shooting of Jacob Blake” —

Having riots and mayhem when their are no visible consequences are an open invitation to criminals and other misfits (soon to be criminals) to join in.

I am sick and tired of the Media. I no longer believe anything they say. They have all become the "boy who called wolf."

You'd think the media would have learned a lesson after Nick Sandmann took them to the woodshed. Alas, it was not to be. I hope the media is prepared to part with another considerable sum of money because that might be in their future.
Perhaps Nick and Kyle can form a conglomerate and buy some media outlets. Now that would be much deserved karma!!

Story today in True Pundit about Facebook jumping all over 17 year old, Kyle Rittenhouse, as well.
Add that to Twitter. ( I believe Lin Wood is on that case.)

I must admit, the thought of a 17 year old interjecting himself in the middle of a riot struck me as a bit counterproductive. I got my mind around this by separating the acts of Kyle from his age then thinking through his age as an independent topic. Serving the public interest by repairing damage, protecting property, and giving aid to hurt people, is noble and courageous. Arming ones self while doing so under those circumstances is prudent and justified. Now about a 17 year old doing that, I'd be scared to let my son or daughter do that but our very revolution was fought by 17 year old's and younger, it was very much a young peoples war. The left would have us follow the advise of a 13 year old advice that any rational person can see would lead to global poverty, starvation and depopulation. He was legal in Wisconsin. I was about 15 maybe 16 when I encountered an intruder at my next door neighbor's house, someone the police had been trying to catch for months, turns out he was allergic to 12 ga shotguns. Fortunately I didn't have to clean it, my well armed presence was sufficient. I'm over the age aspect.

Facebook and Twitter have already convicted Kyle - it is forbidden to post anything positive, helpful, or contrary to the narrative they have established. It extends to a ban on crowdfunding at GoFundMe and alternative sites (such as the one Lin Wood set up) cannot be mentioned on social media. Perhaps this will be the straw that breaks their back if the President presses and the administration revokes their CDA section 230(c)(2) protections and lawsuits ensue.

I don't know the facts, and neither does anyone at this point. I'll wait before passing judgement.

This has the same feel as the attacks on Nick Sandmann. An American is confronted/assaulted by a Leftist and the media blames the American.
Unfortunately, the level of violence and the deaths make this a lot messier. While I agree that entering this situation was dangerous, what are Americans supposed to do when ARMED thugs take over the streets and the government does NOTHING to remove them? Are we supposed to cower in our homes? What we are seeking is our RIGHT to walk safely down public streets or even counter protest peaceably. It seems that Rittenhouse was seeking that right but was also not dumb enough to go without a defense, just in case. I'm not sure if Rittenhouse could legally carry a rifle? However, the rest of it?
1. Rosenbaum CHASED Rittenhouse ... witnesses saw Rosenbaum assault Rittenhouse. It is clear who the assailant was.
2. Rittenhouse FLED, ... he was attacked again by an unidentified man, then Rittenhouse stumbled and fell, when he was attacked by a second unidentified man who fled after Rittenhouse apparently fired two shots. Then Rittenhouse was attacked by Anthony Huber, who hit him with a skateboard while attempting to grab Rittenhouse’s rifle. Again, it is clear who the 3 assailants were.
3. Rittenhouse was CONFRONTED by Gaige Grosskreutz, who is seen on video with a pistol in his right hand. Yet another assailant, this one armed.
Rittenhouse was assaulted by 5 different thugs. The three he shot all had criminal records. They are NOT innocent civilians. They all chased and assaulted Rittenhouse.
The people who attacked Rittenhouse got self defense justice for their actions. We should hope that Rittenhouse can get justice from our courts.

Duke comes through again! Remember the "Duke 88"? I'm glad to NOT be on the board of visitors or trustees and have to explain these stereotypes my school is once again reinforcing.

Like Zimmerman and the officers in the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore - in the end, he will be found innocent.
The Enemedia lies - that is why they are the enemies of all good, honest Americans.

Just remember. The Discover credit card has now BANNED any contributions to Rittenhouse. It will be Nick Sandman all over again.
There was something about "domestic tranquility" in some old document.
We certainly need some of that.
Let us just shoot the Antifa and BLM goons dead on the spot.
Soon they will stop annoying us.
