Will Be Inscribed on Every Field

NFL end zones will be inscribed this season with two slogans: “It Takes All Of Us” on one end line, “End Racism” on the other. As part of its social justice awareness initiatives, the NFL also will allow similar visuals on helmets and caps.Previously announced were decals on the back of helmets, or patches on team caps, displaying names or phrases to honor victims of racism and/or police brutality. “Each player will have the option to honor an individual by displaying that person’s name via a decal on the back of their helmet,” the memo said,

Haven't watched a NFL game in decades. Our house follows a few college teams and a couple of local high schools. Friday night at the local stadium is a nice way to spend a Fall evening. Give it a try if you haven't been to a hometown football game in awhile.

Step by step, driving away more and more fans. Suicide by an entire sports league. Literal insanity. A good friend's wife is a close relative of Jordie Nelson, and I followed his impressive career because of that. I am really glad that a genuinely nice guy like Jordie could get his millions and get safely retired before the league committed suicide. He put a lot of his money into his farm in central Kansas and is now doing what his family has always done and loved, farming. He got clear just in time. The NFL is self-destructing.

Given the despicable discrimination against participation by Asians and Native Americans by NFL teams, I refuse to watch the exhibitions put on by such a blatantly racist organization. As for going under the Friday night lights to watch local high school athletes perform on the football field, the local democrat politicians have shuttered those venues due to the Wuhan Flu scare.

I have followed the Atlanta Falcons since day one (I was 9 when the Atlanta franchise was born). Suffered through the years when a fight broke out on the field... in the Falcon's own huddle. Steve Bartkowski, Jon James, Fulton Kuykendall, Scott Case, Alfred Jenkins... and Jackson, Billy 'White Shoes' Johnson (could not do that now), Chris Chandler and the 1998 Superbowl. Bobby Petrino as head coach telling the team that men don't quit... then he quits a few days later... And, the massive collapse against the Patriots. All of it. I'm done with them now. 54 years. 'Turn out the lights, the party's over...'

Will stadium public address systems order fans to take a knee during the national anthem, assuming its performed? If the BLM anthem is played, will the PA system demand that fans raise their fists because “silence is violence”? And will TV announcers remind us constantly to vote and to wear masks in order to implicitly support Biden? Finally, will the wealthy owners wear BLM shirts in their very comfortable skyboxes? Only positive in this bizarre, anti-white decision is that it might stop Rush from talking endlessly about his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the most gangsta like teams in the NFL.

Poster 18, I’m not sure. Even the PGA Tour issued an enlightened statement on August 27. Here is an excerpt: “The PGA TOUR made a pledge over the summer to be part of the solution, and we have been actively working to make deeper and more specific commitments to racial equity and inclusion in the communities where we play, as well as supporting national organizations within this movement that we had not previously engaged with. However, we understand that now is not the appropriate time to highlight our programs and policies, but rather to express our outrage at the injustice that remains prevalent in our country.” In other words, the tour caved to the shakedown artists. But don’t have the nerve (now) to disclose which groups received the cash.

The non-stop racial / political drama should stop on the playing field. I didn't think racially or politically charged slogans were part of any sport. Sports were our escape from all of the current events and politics going on in the world. I didn't watch to see, and don't care what the athletes thought about a particular subject. I watched to see them play their sport. Our escape from the drama is now gone. Professional sports has become just another arm of the Democrat / liberal propaganda machine. No need to watch sports anymore.

Corporate sponsors should be shamed into advertising only on the "End Racism" end of the field. "It Takes All of Us" is weak gruel and smacks of "All Lives Matter." Oh, and players should insist on scoring touchdowns only in the "end racism" end zone.

Hermoine (#18), I may have stumbled onto the answer. What do ALL these 'sports' teams have in common? They are all Entertainers. Where do they ALL get their money?.......TELEVISION. The 'money men' running the TV networks are pulling the strings from their safe places, hidden behind the Green Curtain. If the TV 'money men' had told the NFL to tell Kaper-nik to 'knock it off or get lost' as soon as he disrespected the American flag, all this would have stopped IMMEDIATELY. But they Encouraged it, and now it has infected all the 'TV' funded 'sports' ...... and let's not forget, all these 'Football Heroes' and 'Basketball Heroes' and 'Whatever Heroes' are nothing more than Performance Cast Members..... employees.... of ENTERTAINMENT companies. Insult your customers instead of entertaining them, and they LEAVE... taking their money with them. Like they said in the old Charlie Chan movies..... "No Tickee, No Washee", and as they say today...."Get Woke, Go Broke". Hey TV moguls..... watch This! ......."CLICK!"

Famed Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein (“Woodstein”) have recently weighed in on the use of anonymous sources in the reporting of President Trump’s alleged slurs of deceased soldiers. While they use their iconic status to support the “truth” spoken by such unnamed witnesses, they unwittingly prove the profound incapability of modern journalism in its assumed role as the arbiter of truth. There can be no better example of this than Woodstein’s discussion of their use of anonymous sources in Watergate. These sources, Woodstein argues, were all proven truthful and brought down a sitting president. Therefore, they contend, the present anonymous sources must be

Controversial Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, once considered a frontrunner to become Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate, has authorized construction of a large fence around the governor’s mansion in Lansing as part of a $1.1 million security upgrade. The 8-foot-tall electrified fence is especially galling to Whitmer critics because she has routinely criticized President Donald Trump’s construction of a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border as a way to help reduce illegal immigration and human trafficking. She has also questioned the effectiveness of security walls but is nevertheless billing taxpayers for the expensive upgrade that will include electrified fencing because, according to local media, Whitmer is fearful of threats.

There go the Oscars.Forget merit, now filmmakers will have to subject their art to Orwellian tests of identitarian purity if it is to be eligible for a Best Picture award. In the latest act of craven capitulation to the BLM-Antifa mob, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decreed Tuesday that no movie can win the top award unless it satisfies a set of genetically and sexually diverse quotas. For example, lead actors must be from an “underrepresented racial or ethnic group . . . Asian, Latinx, Black, Native American, Middle Eastern, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.”

Peter DeFazio, who has “been in office longer than I’ve been alive.” The 27-year-old former Oregon National Guardsman, hailed as a hero for his part in thwarting a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train in 2015, now wants to represent Oregon’s 4th district in Congress.(Video) “I’m not a politician. CLAIM: There have been 6,114 U.S. military deaths from coronavirus. VERDICT: FALSE. There have been seven. Former Vice President Joe Biden has been attacking President Donald Trump for remarks that The Atlantic claimed he made about dead soldiers in war (and which over twenty witnesses have publicly refuted). On Wednesday, Biden commented on soldiers who had died during the coronavirus pandemic — and overstated the number by a factor of nearly one thousand. Biden was speaking to members of the United Auto Workers in Michigan. After fumbling about for a card listing U.S. military deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq, which he said he always kept with him —

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney said President Trump was "wrong" to claim that U.S. military generals want to be at war to help bomb manufacturers make money. Romney, a Republican, told CNN that he was disappointed in Trump's remarks about the top generals at the Pentagon. He said it was "offensive" for Trump to suggest that generals are trying to keep wars alive to make defense suppliers happy.

Target Corp. plans to increase its number of Black employees by 20% over the next three years as part of its growing efforts to build a more diverse and inclusive company, executives said. The Minneapolis retailer on Thursday announced its latest commitment to racial equity as it also made public more detailed information about the ethnic and gender makeup of its employees and leaders. Target’s total workforce last year was 360,000, with 25% of employees Latino, 15% Black, 5% Asian and 5% people who identified as mixed race, American Indian or other underrepresented groups. However, the diversity is less the higher the position,

The University of Rhode Island recently announced plans to remove two murals depicting the events of World War II due to their lack of diversity. The decision was prompted after students complained that the mural was not compatible with the university’s values of inclusivity. According to the school’s Vice President of Student Affairs, “Some of our students have even shared with us they didn’t feel comfortable sitting in that space.”

Ever since Attorney General Barr appointed U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia collusion probe, Trump supporters have been waiting for the bomb to drop. And waiting. And waiting. But nothing ever happens. Judicial Watch’s founder Tom Fitton thinks that conservatives are being scammed. Instead of an investigation, it’s just another Washington cover-up. I suspect (or, maybe, hope), though, that Barr and Durham are holding their fire because of the election. Tom Fitton, whose organization doggedly uncovers documents the Swamp wants to hide, was on Fox News’ Lou Dobbs Tonight. He is concerned that the John Durham investigation is a sham

Just weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), President Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, lauded Trump for his efforts toward resolving protracted conflicts worldwide. “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of Parliament who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, told Fox News in an exclusive interview.

According to last February’s ratings, 93 percent of us are already not watching the Academy Awards. Now Oscar is wondering: How do I whittle down that last 7 percent? Answer: woke quotas. That thunk you heard coming out of La-La Land on Tuesday was the sound of the Academy grandly planting its face in the sidewalk by announcing it was formally rejecting the pursuit of artistic quality in favor of a byzantine quota system. Starting with 2024 films, your project can’t even be considered for a Best Picture Oscar unless it meets a set of diversity targets

This year was scary enough. Traditional Halloween activities won't be allowed for residents in Los Angeles County this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to local health officials. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced a ban on door-to-door trick-or-treating, carnivals, festivals, live entertainment and haunted houses. "Door to door trick or treating is not allowed because it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors especially in neighborhoods that are popular with trick or treaters," officials said in a news release detailing guidelines for the annual tradition.

A Rhode Island professor with a history of incendiary comments against conservatives is under fire this week for appearing to suggest that the fatal shooting of a Patriot Prayer supporter during unrest in Portland last month was morally justified. The comment from Erik Loomis, a history professor at the University of Rhode Island, came in response to a comment on his blog post: “Why Was Michael Reinoehl Killed?” The post questioned whether police deliberately “murdered” 48-year-old Michael Reinoehl, the man who fatally shot Aaron “Jay” Danielson on Aug. 29, the night Trump supporters clashed with backers of Black Lives Matter in Portland.
