Original Article

In the past months of demonstrations for Black lives, there has been a lot of hand-wringing about looting. Whether it was New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo saying that stealing purses and sneakers from high-end stores in Manhattan was "inexcusable," or St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter saying looters were "destroy[ing] our community," police officers, government officials and pundits alike have bemoaned the property damage and demanded an end to the riots. And just this week, rioters have burned buildings and looted stores in Kenosha, Wis., following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, to which Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson has said:

Go ahead. Twist yourself into knots with your faulty pretzel logic. It doesn't change the fact looting is stealing. Typically preceded by breaking and entering. Another crime. So you are breaking the law. Period. No matter what "code" words you use.

She gets so lost following "the myths and tropes of looting" through the unlit, cobwebby labyrinth of her mind, that she concludes the looters are actually right to loot, fully justified! I'd like to see her own home, or apartment, get thoroughly looted, stripped of all her prized possessions-- which you may be sure she has, just like all of us. You would not hear a peep out of her about myths and tropes, not one peep.

NPR has violated the public trust with which they claimed they served when applying for their precious broadcasting frequencies which actually belong to all of us. They and the Degenerate Media have broken their promises to serve the general good, and now openly embrace outright destruction, violence and theft in addition to the murder they have always supported in the womb. The only thing to do is to immediately revoke their broadcast licenses- the whole lot. Revoke Now!

The best you can do is have the conditions for everyone to have equal 'opportunity,' which we pretty much have now. What laws would one have to add that we don't have now to make things more equal? It is dumping any association with John Muir, the “father of the national parks” who founded the Sierra Club back in 1892.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers urged President Trump to call off his trip to Kenosha this week — fearing the president’s visit to the city will “only hinder our healing.” The governor made the plea in a Sunday letter, portraying Kenosha — where Jacob Blake, 29, was shot seven times by police on Aug. 23 — as a divided community that’s already on the mend. “I, along with other community leaders who have reached out, are concerned about what your presence will mean for Kenosha and our state,” Evers wrote in his letter.

The arrests were related to the protests that have occurred every night, and have sometimes turned into destructive rioting, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Aug. 23. Kenosha Police said in a media release that the arrests were from people located in 44 cities, although authorities didn't elaborate which states they came from. A total of 69 people were arrested for curfew violations.

If it were up to Joe Biden, the national shutdown implemented due to the coronavirus pandemic would never end. When he accepted the nomination for president on the final night of the Democratic National Convention, he promised that if elected, he would pass a federal mask mandate as part of his effort to defeat the virus. “It’s a patriotic duty,” he declared. Of course, Biden didn’t bother to elaborate on this proposed mandate or explain how his administration would enforce it — because he knows that such a heavy-handed restriction would be legally dubious and almost impossible to enforce.

You can almost smell the sweat. The Democrats and their media handmaidens are starting to panic about Joe Biden’s prospects. The proof comes in their efforts to wish away the wave of crime and violence engulfing many American cities. Their argument can be boiled down to two false claims. First, it’s President Trump’s fault. Second, it’s not that big of a wave. The first is patently absurd on its face. Democratic mayors running nearly all those cities are pulling back cops and rejecting federal help. The blood is on their hands.

A federal appeals court ruled Monday against Michael Flynn and the Justice Department in their request to quickly shut down his criminal case. The 8-2 decision restores power to a judge to question the Justice Department's moves in the politically divisive case, when Attorney General William Barr dropped charges against President Donald Trump's former national security adviser earlier this year despite twice pleading guilty to lying under oath to lying to the FBI. Flynn had fought District Judge Emmet Sullivan's decision to ask a third-party lawyer to argue against the Justice Department's dismissal in the case, and his plans to hold a hearing, which has not yet happened.
