Andrew Sullivan: ‘These despicable
fanatics, like it or not, are now
in part the face of the Democrats’

Andrew Sullivan’s take on the danger posed to Dems by chaos in the streets is worth a read. I don’t agree with all of it but Sullivan seems to be making a genuine attempt to not be guided by talking points from either side of the aisle and it’s interesting to watch even if it’s not a completely successful effort. Frankly, some of what he says seems to at least partly contradict other things he’s saying but I guess that’s what happens sometimes when you’re reacting honestly and not just picking sides. Mostly what comes through is his disgust

Comments:

Andrew Sullivan was one of us before he found a liberal boyfriend. Once in a while, the Andrew-who-used-to-be seeps into his comments.

One robotic chant these feral dogs like to shout is, “Silence is violence!” This, while they scream in diners’ ears, throw feces, and burn anything that can ignite.

A lot of these animals are paid to come out and destroy. Justice needs to do their job and designate this organization as well as Antifa as domestic terrorists. Then they can track the money and freeze the assets. Until then BLM will receive large contributions from some of our large corporations and crazy entertainment people. They are powerful because they have LOTS of money.

Yes, #3. They are a shake down organization and nothing else. All that money and what have they done to help a single black American? Not one damned thing. And a lot of that cash is finding it’s way into the Biden campaign. That is something which PDT should be talking about on the campaign trail every single day. Biden is profiting from the riots. Not surprising given the way he profited from Ukraine and China.

I suppose some people will be offended by my remarks but here goes anyways. Seems like we have a police force because parents didn't do their job in the first place. We have parents who are abandoning, avoiding, dismissing their parental role to bring up children to be law-abiding, responsible, hard-working individuals. I guess I would offend even more if I added God-loving to that sentence but it is up to an individual if they want to invite God into their life or reject His ways.

Local Fox station in Tampa, which has leaned left for over a decade now, is blaming all of this on Trump and urging people to vote against him in November. This morning their focus was on a "brave" white family who actually went to Washington yesterday for the Al Sharpton / race hustler event (like they were saints).

The first mistake the Antifa group makes is to shorten the term- anti fascist, then move forward to model after Mussolini's worst fascist tactics. No free thinking, no difference of opinion or else you get violence and screaming zombies in your face. Remember the left always calls you or accuses you of what they are doing. They are "Anti Fascist"? No, they are the fascists. In normal times an invasion of violent people would call for arrests but today they hide behind the First Amendment but deny that right to everyone else.

#3, I believe going after the funding is the most effective way to take down this Marxist organization. The American people certainly want the chaos and violence to stop. However, it must be done strategically because the democrats will jump if they get a whiff of an investigation into BLM. Antifa and Occupy Wall Street has lost most of whatever support they garnered which is why the wealthy founders needed a front group that was more sympathetic to many Americans and that is where BLM shot to the forefront of the “peaceful protests”. Now it is the face of the actual organization created to destroy this country. This is a very sticky situation because this administration is battling these violent anarchists and also have the media engaged to demonize any attempt to expose them for who and what they are. Don’t ever make the mistake of underestimating the evil that the left is prepared to commit in order to achieve their goal. Never before has any President had such a clear eyed vision of who and what they are and the determination to confront them and ultimately defeat them. This President scares them because he cannot be bought and will not back down in order to save the Republic. This really is an epic battle between good and evil and one that we must win come November. The President knows that the people funding this anarchy are determined and dangerous because they have been exposed. Their only course is to remove the mortal threat that this President presents. Our duty is to make sure that he wins in unassailable numbers in November. Then, Katie, bar the door. Lower the hammer and rid this country once and for all of the forces that seek to destroy it. Unleash every legal means and break the back of these anti-American zealots. God give the President continued wisdom and determination he needs to win this war.

The elected socialist/communists in the Democratic Party are doing metaphorically in the halls of government what their counterparts are doing in actuality to the rule of law in the streets of the cities and states that they control. Thankfully, more people are finally making the connection! Hopefully, that is also helping them to understand how Democrat policies and legislation are weapons with equal destruction to those used in the streets against the United States of America. May we stand with God and country, and may He bless and be with us.

I read that law enforcement in Kenosha had reason to examine a van that was suspected of having something to do with the chaos in the city, and when they did, they discovered masks and some kinds of weapons and other materials used in their rioting, but they also said they found some "suspected controlled substances". In Portland, a man was quoted as saying he brought free weed to the protestors every night. The behavior is so irrational that it is not surprising that they are taking something other than energy drinks.

These ugly thugs and miscreants are the Children of liberal mothers. They are drop outs, latch keys and runaways, or spoiled rotten kids who were never disciplined and taught basic life values. Along with Liberal parents or no parents, seeds of this hateful thinking are also planted in our public schools by leftist teachers and their union leadership. Many of them look to be in their late teens and early twenties. This age group is easily swayed into this type of activity and are susceptible to brain washing by terrorist hierarchy and zealots. These hollow vessels have become the children of a Satanic cult supported by Soros and other progressive organizations disguised as BLM or other bogus causes. They are unclean, uneducated and full of hate. What they have in common is belonging to this cult. They now have purpose and like being accepted. What needs to happen is they need to be treated like the non-combative terrorists we have in Gitmo and rounded up like cattle and brought to a reeducation camp in the boonies far way from civilization. This is an enormous problem that needs to be addressed promptly. Also, the government needs to search where they are coming from and go after their training headquarters and destroy it.

Andrew you cannot in good conscience call a leader who defers to the states and asks them to ASK for help a fascist. Please start looking in the mirror and tell the truth at least to yourself. And, increasingly, normal, sane people who have called themselves Democrats for generations are becoming Trump Republicans. THAT is how the sorting works, the few sane ones leave, and then there is the Dems, 100% ideologically pure leftist extremism.

"without order, there is no room for any other issue" Absolutely true for rational people. The hard Left is driven by emotion. To them, rioting is an acceptable way to get what they want. Note that if you try to have a discussion with a Leftist, they scream at you. You are repulsed but they think it's normal way to "discuss". Now, put them in charge and you have a country run through violence and without law. Further, the various Leftist factions are going to fight with each other for control. That means where they rub elbows, it will get VERY nasty. Think of the current problems in the inner cities where various gangs clash. This is normal there, the law of the jungle, and people mowed down just because they are in between the two sides, or three sides, or four sides. This chaos is real in some areas of the US and it is what the dems are willing to allow to happen to win. Winning at ANY cost. Some of the dems are fooling themselves into thinking they will put the chaos genie back into the bottle once they win. The agents of chaos will mow down such stupid dems in a flash. The Lori Lightfoot's will be swept away before they know what is happening. Nasty Pelousy will be buried in her freezer full of Häagen-Dazs. There will be no use for the moronic industrialists that have cozied up to the dems. "Nice business you have here. It's ours now. Get out." Some may think I am being harsh but such a dystopian future is not all that far away. Yes, I am sure an extremely well armed citizenry would rise to fight back and probably even win over time but the country we would have left would not be America. Do you think we would have the wisdom to reforge a country anywhere near as good as we already have. Right now we have exactly ONE Donald Trump and we haven't seen his like in a century or more. The "smart" people have mostly proven they are actually pretty dumb, some are twisted, and some get pulled into rat holes like global warming, and others are useless bureaucrats. WHO would rebuild? What would they make? Would bitterness and anger twist any new creation into hideous forms? Lincoln knew what was at risk in the Civil War and he fought like a demon to win it because failure would have been catastrophic. We have a vastly under appreciated gift, an amazing free nation that has risen above all nations throughout history. We need to vote like our lives depend on it, because they literally may.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Pelosi’s HR1 bill a blatant power grab for Democrats 30 replies

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
