NBA players have voted to resume the 2020 playoffs, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Games will restart on either Friday or Saturday, per a league statement. There is a video conference scheduled for Thursday afternoon between a group of NBA players and team governors representing the 13 teams in Orlando.
Six teams opted not to play on Wednesday following the shooting of Kenosha, Wisc. resident Jacob Blake.

I wonder if these dunderheads figured out that if they didn't play, they wouldn't get paid.

Did they get the news that Blake may have been going for his knife on the driver side floorboard when he was shot?

Ha ha what a joke. Now just might be the time for someone to form an alternate league for just sport and absolutely no politics. It might eliminate 80% of NBA players, but those that did sign up would be decent people as well as athletes. Get a cable channel to show the games and make the experience for fans fun and affordable with no constant cussing .

I'm betting the word got out that the "strike" and other actions or should I say lack by the Marxists would be helping Trump? But like a lot of people out there I say who gives a rats (fill in the blank).

Until they desegregate the NBA and NFL I am boycotting. The lineups should mirror the population of the USA.

I don't know why they have a season. Even under normal conditions they don't start playing until the playoffs.

Must be nice that the players now run the team and tell the owners how to run their businesses...

Players must have figured out that their PR stunt was not such a good idea. Apparently money is more important than their faux outrage. Maybe they can all take a knee. Take a knee and beg their fans to come back!

Too late. I’ve never watched the NBA but I’d bet there are a couple million citizens who will never watch again thanks to these overgrown crybabies getting their gym shorts in a wad.

These players are catering to a group of pansy behind wusses who couldn't pick lebron out of a 2 pic lineup. And angering their real men and women
fans. Makes no sense to me.

Info today is that the next salary cap (the amount of money that has to be paid as player salary) computation will be going down. For the first time ever. That number is derived from all league revenue; tv money, ticket sales, individual team cable fees, etc. Pity for the player posse who will be getting much less in walking around money for acting as errand boys.
