Young people don’t trust anyone who
uses this punctuation mark

Periods may be coming to a full stop. While older texters may consider the period an innocent symbol that a sentence has ended, digital natives consider it a triggering form of aggression. The punctuation problem ignited over social media recently, with Gen Z and millennials agreeing that ending a sentence with a period is overly hostile and, worse yet, extremely uncool. “Only old people or troubled souls put periods at the end of every sentence,” wrote digital culture journalist Victoria Turk in her book on digital etiquette “Kill Reply All.”   Corrections*

How long before initial capital is declared unnecessary? If periods cannot end a sentence why should a capital letter begin a sentence?

Every email program should have a warning when you are using "Reply All". HR sends out a bulk email at work to all 2000 workers about a broken door and how everyone should use an alternative door. Out of 2000 people at least 100 reply-all with "OK" and my inbox floods.

My 1st experience with this "history-free," "punctuation-free," generation came when a young man became head of our old HOA. We take notes, keep the official rules handy. He had his phone. But a lot of attitude. He tried to pull an illegal and financially irresponsible move only to be outvoted after we pointed out the rules and past commitments by previous HOAs. Instead of accepting the truth he doubled down, threatening us. Later he ever tried to steal our copy of the rules. I bet he's with antifa now. No sense of history at all. Just a phone, not even a pen.

Readers who are offended by a period at the end of sentences are assuming threats that do not exist. If I were interviewing a job applicant who did not use a period at the end of sentences I would not hire that applicant. How about a writer submitting a writing for publication?; a teacher, instructor or professor reviewing a term paper or exam?; a judge reviewing a judicial pleading?; Judges writing opinions?. There are at least dozens of other examples. These people have too much time on their hands; they are snowflakes who in all probability have never suffered a single REAL hardship. Will the United States win a real military conflict that is soldiered by such people? I often doubt it. They are worse than silly. Although good grammar has been around for thousands of years these self-centered fools think they know better. The same applies to commas. The classic example is the critical difference between "Pardon, impossible to be executed" from "Pardon impossible, to be executed."

This could encapsulate the state of public education in one quick example. They are who I've called the "google generation". They know how to type, or ask, a question, and they believe they've found the answer. Yet, it was only the answer that paid the most money to be at the top of the list, not necessarily the correct answer.

The softest, most pampered generation ever, is coming of age and this what they prioritize. Fine. A hard rain is coming and it is going to dissolve a lot of morons. Only the truly tough in mind and body, no matter their age will endure and come out the other side. The losers, the false virtue, the emotional cripples and the punks are begging for a reckoning. They will fight like vermin, but their soft life won't be enough to enable them to survive. Plus, they are really pretty stupid. Posing with a karoke boombox is not leadership. Not every city is doomed to this cancer and as soon as the big mouthed vandals try to expand their destruction, they will run into people who will put them down without much hesitation.

Periods are both sexist and transphobic, because only natural born women can have periods. And using a period at the end of a sentence is done to remind women who are just ending their sentence in prison that they are still second class citizens because they have periods... .

I have a solution. I don't text. I still have a flip phone. You can call me and we'll chat. You can call me and we'll meet up face to face and chat. You can email me, with punctuation, otherwise I'll think you are lazy and/or illiterate. I'll answer your emails. Ditto for letters, cards and postcards. But, I don't text unless it is an absolute necessity. And then, I use punctuation. I don't have time to text with people all day long. I don't have the time and I frankly don't have the interest. Period.

Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
