Children playing with dynamite

Original Article

The Antifa and BLM rioters doing their best to destroy leftist cities ruled by confused idealists are the outward manifestation of a more dangerous impulse threatening to destroy all of America. It is an impulse to self-deification that motivates the rioters and their enablers to see themselves as righteous crusaders saving the world. They insist that the rest of us conform to their lofty worldview, but they are like children playing with idealistic dynamite, oblivious to its destructive power while they earnestly fumble with matches to light the fuse.

Comments:

Stand WAY back. If you live in one of these big Dem run cities, you really do need to look at getting far away from their coming violence, although some is going on now, not "coming".
And be able to provide your own personal security. Things look like they are going to be getting "historic", and not in any kind of good way. Historic like Atlanta in 1864, or Dresden in 1945.
Be elsewhere.

They are entering neighborhoods of those who have a LOT to lose. Oh not in the night's activities, but in the expected legal actions after the fact. The rioters have nothing. So it is a lose lose situation. WAIT until some foolish bunch of school teachers try it in a 'blue collar' neighborhood... SOMEONE will oblige them with a response...and it won't be pretty. Remember, they are just doing this for show in areas they know they will not be challenged.

FTA "It is an impulse to self-deification that motivates the rioters and their enablers to see themselves as righteous crusaders saving the world" I call it the Frodo syndrome. People who get so emotionally attached to their cause that all reason and reality is stripped from it. They perceive their cause as a fight of all that is good in the world against the most evil and detestable beings of darkness ever known. They think they alone stand between the light and the darkness. Governors "fighting" covid fit this group as do ANTIFA and BLM, The real problem is that such blind devotion and emotional investment completely robs the sufferer of reason. They can no longer think, their entire thought process has been boiled down to essentially a bumper sticker. A bumper sticker many think they should commit atrocious acts of violence for.

They won't stop until they get serious push back: in the form of 9, or .45. Cops (and the city and state execs.) used to be the line of defense. When they are restrained, we citizens must protect ourselves. I'm not wishing for this battle, but with each lawless day it's becoming more inevitable. Maybe that's what ANTIFA/BLM/Democrats want: a new revolution conducted in the streets.

In Portland, police are being struck by rocks thrown from a distance using-- lacrosse sticks! This is not a weapon improvised by the impoverished and oppressed. Lacrosse! The sport of middle class and upper middle class kids from white suburbs and prep schools. But these white "privileged" kids are filled with self-loathing and ennui, which they attach to Marxist contempt for the capitalist bourgeoise. They are, however, really playing with dynamite. Beginning months ago, suburbanites began buying guns in record amounts, many of these first time buyers. My regular weekly visits to ranges have been stifled by the crowds now filling all the lanes. It might still take a while, maybe a few more months, but then we are going to witness a sea change: rioters will attack citizens in their neighbourhoods and get shot down. They will pounce on trapped cars and meet hot lead in return. If police continue to fail in their duty, ordinary Americans who have had more than enough of this **** will protect themselves, their families, and their homes in the only way they can. And the vicious little snots will wish they had stayed on their lacrosse fields.

They seem to think it is a game without consequences since the police have been pulled back and told to stand by and let them destroy. It will cease to be a game one day, sooner than they imagine. The young thug in Austin discovered that blocking traffic and pointing a rifle at people in trapped cars isn't a game. And he is dead for his stupidity. It will happen again. I am really surprised that more drivers haven't just mashed the throttle and run over these folks, but have let themselves be trapped and pulled out and beaten. People see that happening, and many vow "Not going to happen to me." They don't need a gun, that vehicle is a good self defense weapon as they exit the area.

The problem is that most of the Left is easily manipulated. Someone cries "racism" and they open up all the baggage they carry around with them. The reality is, most of the declared racism simply is NOT racism. Then, if there actually IS a problem, they ASSUME it is because someone has acted unfairly toward someone else. An example is Blacks in school being disciplined more often than whites. Leftists assume racism and never ask why Blacks are acting up more? I'm not saying that is the answer, just that Leftists never even consider the question. Then the Left throws out solutions that don't work because they can't work. They are fundamentally flawed. When their "solutions" fail, they double down to spend more money and invoke more control; which also fails. They never question if their "solutions" are flawed. In short, Leftists are dangerous because they don't THINK. They act as a mob, following the mob's mentality to no good end. They think they are failing because WE are opposing them but the truth is, they are their own worst enemies. If all Conservatives vanished from the face of the earth, they would still fail. Who would they blame then?

The Case for Closing Public Schools…

For the past year, parents and students across the county, mostly in Democrat-run municipalities, have been experiencing excessive levels of stress due to unending school closures. Red states like Florida, Texas, and South Dakota have been open for months. Meanwhile, the teacher’s unions have a stranglehold on the public schools in Democrat states, refusing to open for a litany of absurd reasons. Part of me sympathizes with the conservative parents who are struggling to cope with working from home and the online curriculum management of their children. (Though that sympathy does not extend to liberal parents who knowingly voted for this lunacy.) But I am struggling to understand why

Recently on FOX News's Hannity show, Ari Fleisher, a self-described member of the establishment GOP, weakly attempted to placate both sides of the fractured Republican Party. He emphatically pleaded the argument that the establishment needs to respect the patriot wing, and the patriot side needs the establishment to know how to pass laws. I am sure I was joined in a collective double-take upon hearing Mr. Fleischer's disconnected reasoning. Since 2008, the Republican Party has been in a political downfall. Each political cycle, the self-lauded establishment GOP overwhelmingly endorsed weak candidates across the board

I’ve made a minor hobby of looking skeptically at immunizations since my case report on atypical measles was published as the centerpiece article in JAMA 45 years ago. That case illustrated at least one unpublicized problem from immunizations. It seems that the original measles vaccine, “a killed measles vaccine” was given to preschool kids beginning in 1962-63 and available until 1968. It did prevent measles for about six years. Thereafter, when these kids were exposed to measles they sometimes developed an inverted and much more serious illness. My case was the first that occurred in a young adult 14 years after immunization.

Make the "United States" plural again. Is that so much to ask? Up until the Civil War, that was the customary grammatical construction. "The United States of America are committed to..." "The United States of America have declared war upon..." "The United States of America stand together..." Ah, there's the rub. These United States of ours do not really stand together anymore on anything, and only the linguistic shrewdness of treating the "United States" as a singular entity provides the fictitious veneer of national unity. In a world filled with fake news, fake markets, and fake elections, ignoring proper grammatical rules

Xi Jinping’s kick-off appearance at the winter Davos week this Monday had a simple message for newly inaugurated President Joe Biden: bring America back into the fold, or suffer the consequences. The speech, which opened and closed with World Economic Forum (WEF) Chairman Klaus Schwab heaping praise on Xi, was the Chinese president’s first appearance at Davos since he spoke there in 2017. Electric vehicles are being sold, in part, on how much they’ll save people in terms of maintenance costs. That’s a total con. EVs are not no-maintenance or even low-maintenance relative to non-electric cars. They are different maintenance. And they’re not cheaper to maintain. Instead of oil and filter changes, you change the battery pack. That will shortly become clear. An oil/filter change generally costs about $50 ($10 for a filter, $5 per quart of oil times 5 to 6 quarts, plus the labor, if you pay someone else to do it). Most non-electric cars need their oil and filter changed about once every 6,000 miles or so — about twice a year

There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
