The Episcopal bishop of Washington, D.C., who criticized President Donald Trump after he held a Bible aloft at a photo op at a historic church in her diocese, is among the diverse group of faith leaders selected by Democrats to speak at their presidential nominating convention.(snip)“He took the symbols sacred to our tradition and stood in front of a house of prayer in full expectation that would be a celebratory moment,” Budde said in an interview after Trump's walk from the White House.

How anyone with true faith could side with the RATS is beyond comprehension.

If the Democrats call these people "faith leaders", you can be sure that it is a collection of secular humanists, apostates and various other heretics. Will any of them take a hard stand against infanticide?

Like politics and academia, these 'faith leaders' are anything but!! I'm left the Catholic Church when they failed in their duties. The only group that slid faster into institutionalized immorality than the Episopalians and Anglicans were the Unitarians. Nearly all the traditional churches these days punish you if you object to their woke standards. Even my Presbyterians have fallen. Churches are no longer havens of the soul and hospitals for the sinner, they are malignant cancers using their positions to champion Acts the Bible states are sins - a "Living Bible" to match the "Living Constitution" of the political left. They demand you not give offense to evil committed, even in the ranks of those guiding the flocks.
There are a few faithful shepherds out there, but you won't find any in the ranks of the democrats.

Iat nteresting that she did not condemn the anarchists who set fire to the church. He may have just saved it. She should be thanking him.

Appropriate that the DNC would spotlight leaders of little faith. Mostly the dead and dying from liberation theology who have lost most of their congregations.

The Episcopal Church has been brought low by leaders espousing tolerance to every sin. Many are those who have realized that the church left them. Was the downfall due to some vain attempt to appeal to the big tent of society? Has it come about due to progressives avowed intent to take religious studies out of scholastic curricula? It is not just one thing. A new horizon has opened up for disaffected Episcopalians by turning to the growing Anglican Church of North America which offers Christ centric worship and which adheres to the values of a wholesome society.

Funny how demonrats only push religion during election time to gull you; otherwise, they want to get rid of religion and install the religion of socialism/marxism/communism (take your pick).

Christian demonrat is an oxymoron. You can’t be both. I’m glad I bailed on the Episcopalian Church back in the 60’s.

Irony so thick and strong it should have broken her teeth when she spoke those words, Guess the Dem convention will be under such strict virtual control that we won’t be hearing it, if there is any repeat of booing of God this year.
