One of the points I’ve made to anyone who will listen is that the Antifa and Black Lives Matter insanity we’re seeing is a purely leftist phenomenon. (snip) The latest resurgence of the American spirit took place in Fort Collins, Colorado. Although some of the facts around this event are contested, there are a few clear things. On Saturday, hundreds of people attended a “Back the Blue” rally to support their local police. Black-clad people, whose clothes identified them as Antifa, showed up as a counter-protest. Their presence did not sit well with some of the attendees at the pro-police rally.

I watched it on You Tube and this time one Antifa member produced a knife that's when the real fight started. The 'Back the Blue' supporters were carrying guns but did not use them when police showed up Antifa attempted to fight with them too. I still didn't understand the neighborhood back yards and field scene it wasn't in the street and why did Antifa show up in a small place like that? It shows that Antifa is willing to attempt to move to small town venues when orders are given but they are not in safe zones like Portland or Seattle.

A perfect illustration of the Antifa mindset is the attack on the man in a wheelchair. Why didn’t they assault one of those huge muscle bound guys instead? They’re absolute bullies as long as no one is resisting them but they morph into cowards the nano second someone challenges them and then they go for the guy in the wheelchair. Scum. Cowardly scum. They should be thankful that the neighborhood guys didn’t send them all to the local ICU.

Antifa showed up at the police precinct but the Back the Blue people herded them down several side streets and sent them home after beating up a few who decided to test them. Antifa was thoroughly humiliated and their girls were not happy.

Politico is trying to claim right now that one of the signs the GOP is flailing is that they are calling BLM a radical leftist mob. Well Duh! That is because they ARE a bunch of destructive thugs. The thing about ignoring history when you are Politico and the rest of the Left is that you forget the lessons of a year called 1968. We haven't forgotten, and neither have a great many other people. Come on November, there is a smacking that needs to be administered by the adults. #2 is correct. There have been mentions in the news off and on about how they are going to be coming to the smaller towns and burbs real soon. I suspect that a lot of the the kerfuffle he mentions is a dry run to see how they do in the smaller venues known as the Red zones. But Red I mean GOP, gun owning and ready for the tantrum throwing brats.

Mike Tyson is right about social media. It allows people to be anonymous so they can say things to people that they wouldn't dare say to their face. It allows them to be a virtual, anonymous, mob. It carried over to antifa, whose members wear masks and commit violence anonymously. The democrats have cheered this on, because they believe it hurts President Trump. The democrats are mum, ignoring the violence and destruction. The democrat mayors and governors in blue states have tacit approval from party leadership to facilitate the violence and destruction.

Good to see Fort Collins, home of CSU stand up to the Antifa Punks. I spent a decade in Fort Collins, children Graduated from Rocky Mt. HS there and was proud to see that FT Collins showed that Colorado will not be pushed around by a bunch of thugs. This is the town where the famous Dan's Bake Shop gave Rush Limbaugh a rally like non other that helped make Rush a national figure. Go Fort Collins!

I have been around a long time, observed people a long time. People are very independent, and are going to do whatever they are going to do. BLM, Antifa, and the Democrats may think they are going to tell people what to do, but I think they are going to find out that people are going to ignore them, and do what they want to do, as they always have.

There are three groups of people that will vote for Trump: Those who supported Trump in 2016; those who have come to support Trump; and those who are so frightened of Biden and the Democrats that they’ll do anything to see Trump win. Andrew Cuomo's got a load of nerve. Imagine being one of the relatives of the thousands of elderly nursing home residents who died as a result of their residences becoming sealed incumbators for COVID, which Andrew Cuomo literally ordered. (snip) Yet here we have it, Cuomo saying he won't allow an independent investigation as to why he ordered this on March 25: “I think you’d have to be blind to think it’s not political,” he said. “Just look at where it comes from and look at the sources and look at their political affiliation.” Which is absolute rubbish -- the New York Post reports that legislators from all parties are demanding it.

In life, we encounter things which may work in theory, but not in practice. Communism is famously one of those things. Time travel is another. With any luck, Americans will soon come to realize that strict social distancing, economic lockdowns, and mask-wearing all belong in that category of supposedly sound ideas that simply don’t work in reality. For evidence, let’s look to Sweden. As Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, an ER doctor at a hospital in Stockholm, writes on his blog, “COVID is over in Sweden. People have gone back to their normal lives and barely anyone is getting infected anymore.”

Nobody has benefitted more from the riots destroying retail stores in major cities than Amazon, which has seen the bricks and mortar competition shrinking even faster than before. And the company, founded by Jeff Bezos, has not been shy about donating $10 million to “organizations supporting justice and equity,” and subsequently increasing the total to $17 million by matching employee donations. If Bezos thought that such virtue signaling would buy immunity for his Amazon empire from the mobs, he was mistaken. Less than 2 hours ago, Andy Ngo posted video of a Seattle mob attacking an Amazon-owned Whole Foods retail outlet

Hillary Clinton’s loss of the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump was so traumatic for members of the Democrat elite that a form of PTSD appears to have taken hold, relegating all memory of the candidacy itself to amnesia. That’s the only plausible explanation for a stunning column published by one of the paper’s stars, Maureen Dowd, and then excerpted in a tweet, completely relegating the Clinton-Kaine ticket to the memory hole. Joe Biden has been in Washington, D.C., since 1972. It’s therefore easy to go through his past stances on issues and use those issues against him now. Doing so creates one kind of Biden v. Animals that are ambush hunters tend to be very still until they have their prey where they want them. Then, the ambush hunter is an explosion of efficient motion and the prey . . . well, the prey is toast. With Saturday’s executive orders and press conference, Trump proved himself to be a masterful ambush hunter, and the Democrats found themselves being hapless prey. As with so many of their initiatives in 2020, the Democrats got greedy. Time and time again, they’ve used the excuse of the Wuhan virus and George Floyd’s death to advance hard-left policies

On Tuesday night, President Trump announced that U.S. Attorney John Durham had uncovered “breathtaking” evidence about the “corrupt” Russia hoax. A recent landmark poll of 20,000 citizens undertaken by the Knight Foundation and Gallup found that Americans’ hope for and trust in an objective media is all but lost. They see not only an ever-growing partisanship in news reporting but a determination by the mainstream media to push a political agenda instead of honestly disseminating the news. While generic faith in the media has been gradually declining over recent decades, the precipitous drop in trust and questions about what motivates the mainstream media can be traced to June 2015 and Donald Trump’s entry into the presidential sweepstakes.
