Then-Mayor Mike Bloomberg famously described New York City in 2003 as a “luxury product,” and therefore priced accordingly. The price hasn’t changed, except to go up slightly — taxes, rents, everything. But few would argue that the product New York offers remains first-rate. The theaters are closed. The nightlife is severely restricted. The restaurants have been forced to move outside, inches away from the exhaust pipes of passing trucks. Oh, and New York City has experienced one of the worst and deadliest outbreaks of the novel coronavirus in the entire world, followed by mass rioting and looting and an accompanying routine-crime spree

If you are from another state you will be treated like a diseased leper, crime is sky high, nothing is open, nothing to do, over priced, over hyped, full of looney liberals, riots, BM Movement BS and believe it or not the rest of the country is not jealous of NYC, we do not want to be you or the east coast in general. Come on Man, we really don't want to visit, ever.

Many years ago I was dating a nice young lady who was quite wealthy. Nice girl. She paid our way to NYC and we did a couple of Broadway shoes (among other things). Great, fun city. This was 1969. No way I’ll ever go again. The left has killed a great city.

The place was a festering sore before this. I cant imagine it being worse now. To the fed up people in NY who are looking at becoming refugees, please stay were you are.

Get this Cuomo, 'Murderer of THOUSANDS in Nursing Homes'. The WORST place in Texas is thousands of times better than the BEST place in New York.
I wouldn't visit your SCHIFFT HOLE of a state for any amount of money. How's that answer? Don't like it, Go Pound Gun Powder and smoke a Cigar!

I tend to spend my summers in the Adirondacks, in upstate New York. The people there are smart, hard-working American patriots. You could not choose to be among better people. Yet, they know that conservatives are greatly outnumbered in that state by the democrat population starting at Albany and becoming more intensely socialist as one goes further south to New York City.

Liberals are embarrassing. They oppress the hell out of people to the point where they drive people out and then they beg them to come back so they can oppress them some more. It's hard to just pack up and leave but once you do it you sure as hell won't be coming back. Bye Bye Andy.

How about we make a deal with Mayor Wilhelm and Governor Il Duce. Seeing as you two are responsible for so many COVID cases that spread from your city/state to all areas of the country, how about if we send all the current COVID cases from other states to New York where they can be cared for by what you claim is the best medical treatment facilities available for COVID patients? Deal?

New York City WAS a luxury product. NOW it's more like a Walmart at opening time on Black Friday.

NYC is a haven for violent criminals, little police enforcement, insane leftist restrictions on all freedoms, very high prices, higher taxes....who would want to stay?
What sort would go there?
