Listen to network or cable news and you will hear that the November election is over. Joe Biden has a growing double-digit lead (snip) Are there “secret Trump voters,” a discrepancy between who voters favor and who they think will win? A recent Monmouth University poll illustrated this phenomenon. Voters favored Biden over Trump 53 to 40 percent but were evenly split on who they thought would actually win the election, Trump over Biden by 46 to 45 percent.
This is like asking a sports fan who they want to win the game versus who they think will win.

I wonder if the fake news people are counting the fake ballots that are in place and ready to be cast rather than polling real people. There CAN'T be as many crazy real people out there as they are reporting that will vote for crazy Joe !!!!

Lord, I hope so. But articles like this are dangerous. We must guard against becoming complacent over the next 100 days. It is critical not just to vote for Trump but to give him back a Republican Senate and House by wide enough margins to shut the Dems up for the next four years.

SloJo's handlers (notice I didn't say SloJo himself) haven't even picked a running mate yet. SloJo stays confined to his basement, unable to string 2 sentences together. Any poll that shows him ahead of Trump was taken at the NYT water cooler.

I don’t think conservatives are ‘afraid’ to tell a pollster who they plan to vote for. That is farfetched and silly. They oversample Democrats in polls to give them the advantage. In a country of 300 million people in which maybe half actually vote, they don’t have a clue. National polls are irrelevant. State by state contests matter. After polls were so totally discredited in 2016 I can’t believe we’re still talking about them.

I was once a registered Democrat because I live in a one party state. I changed my registration in 1998 when NBC spiked Juanita Broaddrick's story. In the weeks before that, I was polled daily on my landline. Since my change, I have been polled maybe once in 22 years and that turned out to be a push poll I couldn't finish.
When the phone doesn't ring, it's the pollsters.

I was in college in '72 and remember the not so hidden hatred of Nixon in the public and in the press that felt that after Watergate, he was toast. In the December issue of the National Lampoon, there was a "headline" about the election held the previous month that said, " Entire Nation Engulfed in Nixon landslide.....Only Massachusetts and DC Spared".
'20 has that kind of feel to it.

I like the polls showing sleepy Joe way up....the lazy liberals hiding in the basement won't come out to vote...and the post office will lose their mail in vote....

1. Telephone poles? Really inaccurate as most mature adults (at least conservatives) do not answer their phones if the do not recognize the phone number. Thank you caller I.D. So, who does answer. Mostly younger millennial's who would answer any time their cell phone rings. In addition these mature adults are more likely to go to the polls and vote come rain, shine or snow.
Most of us do not put out Trump yard signs or bumper stickers as we do not wish our property and cars vandalized. It happens more often than you think. But, be sure we will be there on election day.

I have a MAGA hat, but I'm afraid I might be attacked if I wore it in public. If called by a pollster, I would lie and say I was voting a straight democratic ticket. As far as the accuracy of the polls, three words: President Hillary Clinton.

Don't be fooled by these push polls trying to create public opinion rather than reflect it. Further these polls will be used by the left and the corrupt leftist msm to challenge the re election of President Trump this November. This time the challenge will come the day after the election and Joe will not concede. Be prepared for it. If Democrats and the left had their way they would use these polls to elect a President rather than actual ballot voting!

I have never been polled but if I were, I would lie just to give the left a false sense of security. And I’m certain that I’m not alone.

Issues that will decide the election are already well known - law and order (read systemic racism), immigration and border control, return of jobs and the economy. IMO the COVID pandemic will be a distant fourth with no real advantage or disadvantage to either candidate. People know it is a natural calamity and Trump's score seems to be slightly over 50% at this time. The (Democrat sponsored) pollsters however are on the wrong side on every issue.

Any poll is an extremely small sample of the general population and the location of the poll can easily control the outcome. Conservatives are not afraid to name their preferred candidate but most Conservatives will not waste the time to answer unknown phone calls or risk their personal information on a social media poll. You have no idea who is asking.

This grim-sounding article had one bright spot that caused a coffee spurt: ''Obama won reelection easily against Mitt Romney, a far more formidable candidate compared to Dementia Joe.'' Pierre Delecto finally got some props. Thanks for the toy in the cereal box, Dr. Joondeph.

Every day I get fake telephone calls. I don't answer them. Every day I get texts from political campaigns. I delete them and, when I am thinking, block the numbers. I won't put up yard signs. I avoid political discussions. I am not likely to speak positively about the Mr. Trump amongst friends. I just don't want the hassle. My opinions are unlikely to change theirs. And I live in Illinois.

#15, I believe it was our state attorney general in Pa who issued an advisory not to answer the phone if the caller was unknown to us.
That advice had to do with scammer phone calls. We, in my house, receive at least 10 scammer calls a day, offering to lower our credit card interest rates, or offer to cancel our credit card debt, or give us our free medical alert bracelet, or extend the warranty on our car, or...
9the technology exists for the phone companies to kill spammer calls. T Mobi;e is now advertising that for their cell phone service.)

No one can make me understand why a person would vote for a democrat simply because they hate the personality of President Trump. He has done a good job representing the people. The country was in very good shape and moving along nicely until the Corona Chinese virus struck. The pandemic is certainly not the fault of the President even if democrats are taking full advantage of it to frighten and scare the masses to gain power. Further destruction of the country and bringing it down will not "get even" with Trump. If congress and the white house are lost to democrats this election, it is reasonable to fear that the country will never recover from the destruction democrats will heap upon us.

I heard an Hispanic Republican from California say that California has 140% voter registration. One hundred percent is impossible, but 140% along with ballot harvesting explains why Hillary won the popular vote in California. They will do the same for Biden in the insane liberal states, but hopefully PDT will kill it elsewhere winning 30 plus states, and we'll see lots of tears on election night.
I got a text from the democrat running against Lindsay Graham yesterday asking if he and other democrats could count on my support. I replied that I have never voted for baby-killing democrats and asked them if they had me double registered. I informed them I would be checking on my registration to make sure there was nothing suspect. They responded that they would remove me from their contact list. The others who have called me had the same response, yet I keep getting calls or texts from them. That means my name keeps getting added to their list. If anyone knows why this happens and can advise on how to respond to it, please feel free to share. Thanks

I do think it could be dangerous to volunteer that you are voting for Trump #4. If the poll is being conducted locally I would never state that I was voting for Trump to a pollster. Where i live it could be detrimental to your property.

Good lull the Dems into a sense of apathy. But, we must be vigilant and be sure there will be no mail in voting. If mail in voting is allowed and Biden, God help us, wins, then we need to institute a class action suit to verify each mail in vote is from an eligible person who only voted once.

it all depends.
Have the media manipulated public opinion enough to swing the election in Biden's favor?
Do the Democrats have enough voter fraud to steal the election?
Will the Supreme Court cover for the Democrats?

Only 58% of registered voters go to the polls? That leaves 42% of names on the rolls that could be 'filled in' when being counted.
