The America-the-Terrible disease has now invaded baseball, the sport that to this point had mostly avoided the current race obsession that threatens to turn the American melting pot into a pressure cooker.
In a Monday evening exhibition game between the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland Athletics, Giants manager Gabe Kapler and several of his players and coaches took a knee or otherwise signaled their belief in what a racist country America is during the playing of the National anthem. Various other teams and players have signaled their intention to go along with the insanity when MLB begins play this week and signal in various ways their disapproval of the country

I won’t watch professional football or basketball on television, and now it looks like I won’t be watching major league baseball. I sure wouldn’t pay a nickel to attend a game.

60 games in empty stadiums with cardboard fans? I guess the fan noise will be computer engineered. Then the knees and political insignia. I want some KKK, Nazi and MAGA insignia's out there. Everyone should be allowed to express their opinions.

I stopped watching baseball more than a decade ago. I have a life to live..... It dawned on me that sitting in front of "tv" watching old men dressed up in knickers and act like they're doing something important was a total waste of my lifetime.

I think it will dawn on these team owners to late that people attend sporting events as an escape from all the drama that is going on in their lives and just want to relax and have a good time. Watching vastly over payed athletes getting down on their knees so they can be politically correct doesn't cut it.

I wonder whether what ills the United States is that teaching U.S. history is not occurring in most public schools. The vast majority of the "protestors" seem to be 30 years of age or less. They seem to have no appreciation of the basic goodness of the vast majority, who are hard working ethical individuals. We must get U.S. history back into public schools. As public schools teach to the Scholastic Aptitude Test - U.S. history must ASAP be included in the SATs. One way or another the federal government must get U.S. history back in public schools.

The sooner woke sports go bust and are consumed by the flames of their own racist idiocy, the sooner real sports will be able to rise from their ashes.

I have questions.
How do they pay the huge salaries of these ball players and NASCAR drivers without people in the stands.?
Cardboard cut outs? Why?
I might add that America does not need professional sports, what is needed is for the schools to reopen and the kids allowed to play for their schools.

I think it's not enough for the Silent Majority to turn off their TV's. That will help a lot when the stats come out, but it also helps to write the Sponsors and let them know you are unhappy with what they are obviously promoting, and that means you are no longer going to buy what they are selling! They pay attention when millions send them feedback!

I still don't understand the NFL or the NBL. Most of their players are black and are very wealthy. They are trashing white America who actually pay them to play. The stadiums are made up of mostly white men and women who can afford the tickets. I am ashamed of them all for falling for this Communist ploy to destroy America.

I absolutely do not need to be lectured to on this country's alleged "racism" and "white privilege" by people who earn literally MILLIONS of dollars swinging a piece of wood at a thrown ball!! Or by overpaid men who earn millions of dollars for knocking each other stupid chasing a ball up and down a field!! Or by grown men paid MILLIONS to run up and down a court trying to shoot a ball through a hoop. Or by BILLIONAIRE television personalities who own their own networks and magazines and who wield power NERO could only dream of!! Or by self-important "celebrities" who are paid MILLIONS of dollars for reciting someone else's words in front of a camera!! Or by overstuffed petty politicians who leave for Washington DC paupers and leave it Princes, with MILLIONS made from insider trading, graft, lobbyist "gifts," books and lectures on top of their taxpayer-funded saleries!!
This country provides the opportunity for EVERYONE to rise up and be a success in life so long as they crack down, work hard and take advantage of the education system in their journey. That some parts of society choose, THROUGH THEIR OWN VOLITION, to remain ignorant, to commit crimes or to bear children they cannot afford and then raise them in psychologically damaging single parent households to avoid "acting white" is not even slightly the fault of society at large. Instead, the fault lies solely with the "soft racism of low expectations," and the self-appointed community "leaders" who completely fail to encourage their people to follow the laws of this country, work hard and make something of themselves!

Has anyone asked Mr.Kaepernick to explain his continued association with Nike? Are they not accused of using forced labor via Uigher Muslims to create Nike products?

I won't be watching baseball if the players will be kneeling during the anthem. Baseball was the one major sport (OK, maybe hockey, too) that hadn't been corrupted.

Nike LOST millions supporting this washed up quarterback.
They pay those who make their shoes less than slave wages to produce WAY OVERPRICED shoes.
He has been a cancer to football, and they buckled under .
NBA has been ruined playing politics instead of basketball.
Leave baseball alone! Is nothing sacred??

Check out MLB's Twitter page (https://twitter.com/MLB)to see their latest posts, including a photo of some Cincy players kneeling during the anthem, teammates standing by their side with hand on the kneeler's shoulder. There's also an official MLB tweet in response to those upset with the SF players that says this has never been about the military or the flag, that players and coaches are using their platform (I thought it was OUR national anthem) to peacefully protest.

MLB makes most of their money off of TV rights. Stop watching, write to the advertisers and do not be a hypocrite by saying you did, but didn't. Yes, I know many of that sort is out there. If our Founders could give up their lives for this Great Country, you can give up some sports. Just do it.

Baseball's American black contingent is only 9 percent of its players. The large number of those black players on the field are from the Caribbean...and they ain't woke to the "problems" of American blacks because they are not part of The Community and do not suffer their "oppression". American black players tend to be products of middle class families, not ghetto kids in trouble with the cops. I suspect they will get lip service, maybe a few bucks...and not much more. MLB will wave its "42" immunity flag in defense. The NFL (85 percent American black) and NBA are totally different animals.

These are the real elites, those who want you to believe they are smarter than all others because they can throw a football, dribble a basketball or catch a baseball. Yet these same real smart people can't put two coherent sentences together and they hate our country so much that they all come here to make millions because of our economic system. Bottom line is that "THEY ARE WHO THEY WANT YOU TO HATE". Now I'm done with all sports. Got it..

The last sport I really enjoy is baseball the NFL and NBA have long passed. Now I'll have to stop watching this because they sold out to 'a cause'. I thought with less blacks playing the sport it wouldn't happen but it did. Adios amigos.
By the way I watched the Pirates play the other night and men playing with masks on and cardboard cut out fans was totally stupid so it softens the blow I take about the sport now. It's ridiculous.
