Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who testified against President Donald Trump in the Democratic House’s fall impeachment trial— destroying his own credibility in the process—made headlines this week after announcing his retirement from the Army, citing “bullying, intimidation and retaliation” from Trump. (Snip)If that legacy includes becoming a pawn for House Democrats in their deep state impeachment hoax, leaking classified documents to undermine the president, lamenting it would be a “great honor” to serve as defense minister of a foreign country, and engaging in open insubordination, then yes, Vindman served “dutifully.”Vindman’s retirement comes the same week as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent earned a promotion

Comments:

His next big disappointment will come when the media and other Trump enemies tire of him. He is a tiresome little creature… an injustice-collector, a pouter.

Kent was the bow-tied guy who didn’t seem to buy into what was going on. The article elaborates.

Why was Vindman on the O6 promotion list in the first place? A lot of details are missing from this tale but this mess certainly calls in to question the validity of the Army promotion selection process.

In itself, Vindman's claiming victim status indicates he was not deserving of promotion to full Colonel. He is unable to take responsibility and face accountability for his own actions. Vindman needs to grow up.

No sympathy for a military person who doesn't know how to follow the chain of command and is insubordinate to his Commander in Chief. It is mind boggling to understand where Alex thought he was going to go with this. He himself admitted that, as President, Trump had every right to do as he thought best. Yet he tries to publicly scold Trump? This was really, really dumb. With such questionable ability for clear thinking, his value to the military was limited.

Life is all about choices. Vindman chose to attempt to stab his Commander in Chief in the back. That was a bad choice. In more rational times, less wimpified times, he might find harsher treatment, perhaps MUCH harsher. Some call him a traitor....and if he isn't, he is sure very close to it. Please move to Ukraine, sir.

David French has written a deeply dishonest story today about the prosecution of Roger Stone, and how the commutation of his sentence by Pres. Trump doesn’t change the “facts” of the case. Well, if you’re looking for “facts”, David French’s “story” isn’t the place to start. “Mueller’s investigation revealed Stone’s contacts with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and hacker Guccifer 2.0 during the 2016 campaign.” So, what did Mueller’s investigation “reveal” on this question? Not nearly as much as the repeated recitation of innuendo and guilt-by-association being passed off as “facts” in the media would lead you to believe. But that “innuendo” is what French seemingly relies on to form his views

The U.S. Army sent an email to its military and civilian members after the Fourth of July that included a graphic that claimed innocuous words and phrases like “colorblind,” “all lives matter” and the Trump Campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” are evidence of “white supremacy.” The graphic also listed “Celebration of Columbus Day,” the “Denial of White Privilege,” “Talking about ‘American Exceptionalism,’” and saying “There’s Only One Human Race” as behaviors that are indicative of white supremacy. After Army personnel brought the offensive email to the attention of a U.S. Congressman, the Army said the material was “unapproved” and sent out “in error.”

Why is it important to understand the duality of purpose for the appointment of the special counsel run by the figure-head (in name only) of Robert Mueller?……Because from the outset the seventeen Lawfare lawyers who formed the resistance unit operation took control over the DOJ. That was a large purpose of their installation. The Mueller resistance unit controlled everything, including every impediment to congress. Despite the fact they should have been aware of this, many individual Senators and congressional representatives now claim they had no idea of this purpose. As for baseball, let’s be honest. It’s boring to watch and it’s even boring to play. Ordinary people who aren’t being paid to play baseball cannot endure it except by playing it co-ed with beer, which makes practically anything endurable including watching paint dry. About 90% of baseball consists of the players standing around while touching their privates whenever the TV camera is pointed at them or sitting around the dugout pretending to watch the other team while touching their privates. During the 1930s and 1940s, there were many genuine communists, as well as fellow travelers, working in Hollywood. Once the Cold War began, Hollywood turned against those people and instituted its blacklist, which made it impossible for anyone with communist sympathies to work openly in Hollywood. Of late, the further left you lean in Hollywood, the more you are to be applauded.
