Behind the Media's Breathtakingly
Dishonest Coverage

Original Article

"I don't think I've ever seen such dishonest and biased coverage of any event." That was Brit Hume, who has been covering events for more than 50 years for Fox News, ABC News and investigative reporter Jack Anderson. The event, as you may have guessed, was President Donald Trump's Independence (without the scare-quotes) Day speech at Mount Rushmore. The speech was, according to The New York Times, a "dark and divisive speech" designed to deliver a "divisive culture war message."

This article is an accurate description of what is actually happening. People are being strong-armed by bullies and leftist idiots to support the actions of rioters and looters as peaceful, natural protests instead of wanton destruction. As a poster mentioned on another thread, appeasement may allow them to be eaten last by the alligator but eaten they will be. If there is one thing a bloodthirsty creature homes in on, it is the smell of fear and blood in the water. Organizations like Amazon, Chick-fil-A, the National Felons League, NASCAR, McDonalds, Wendy's, etc. will not recover from their failure to support American values. When the Great Backlash begins, it is not only militant blacks and Antifa that will suffer, their mercenaries are going down as well.

So this is to me an indication that a new theory of mine may have legs. I believe there may be a Silent Minority among lifelong democrats that is afraid to speak out and lies on political polls. Plumbers, builders, shop owners, etc. who hold traditional American Values, Family Values and atternd church services who won't vote for our Nation's destruction. Easily 10-15% nationwide.

This isn't new, just amplified. I have never felt comfortable putting a Conservative sticker on my car because I am afraid the car will be damaged by liberals. I know people who have had that problem. Meanwhile the Left feels perfectly free to plaster offensive stickers on their cars. The silver lining about this is that when Trump is reelected the media will have nowhere to hide from their blatant and disgusting behavior. They can not pretend to be unbiased any longer. They are the propaganda arm of the dem party and the Left. That's not new either, just fully exposed. That's OK as long as everyone knows what they are. Now, in good faith, we can all look for honest news sources.

I watched Tucker Carlson last night and it was chilling beyond words re: Biden, but he also had Britt Hume on, who commented, as others have, as to how Trump is pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory with deals like following that wonderful Mt. Rushmore speech and the virulent Press reaction, which would solidify the base and independents as it was so false with an attack on that NASCAR guy. I refuse to give $ to the campaign at this point, and I get letters every day, as long as Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot because of his own ego. I am as angry with Trump as I am with the Press at this point!!!!!!!!!

#5 is on point. It's been the best week; it's been the worst week. Speeches were great; press reaction predictable. On Monday, the ball was in Trump's court, but he changed the subject with a tweet on NASCAR, which led the evening news. Nothing on the speeches since. Tucker on point again last night, followed by 20 minutes of Trump and Hannity, with nothing but dead-horse beating. No effort at all to reach out beyond the base (which he couldn't do with Hannity anyway). Trump's campaign has nothing more to offer. Britt Hume is right. For those who still hope, remember Ben Franklin: "Those who live on hope die fasting."

#5, shooting YOURSELF in the foot is the answer, apparently. Brilliant....NOT. Talk about counterproductive - what YOU are doing is 100 times worse than anything the President has said or done. Unbelievably short sighted, or just perhaps just a troll trying to convince people to follow that ludicrous course of action.

America, and the world, are suffering the results of the ongoing war between Satan, Lucifer, and God our Father creator. All foretold in His Holy Bible. We are living in the last stages of the sound of the God' fifth trump. God' sixth trump is about to be sounded when all but God' very elect will be worshiping Lucifer which bring about the sounding of God' seventh trump. The seventh trump and God' millennium of judgments face to face before God and punishment or reward for all who are named in God' Book of Life according to how we have lived if we have truthfully repented our transgressions and received God' grace of forgiveness and redemption. All others who refused God' invitation to join Him are already lost and condemned to the abyss.

I really think by now the media have ceased making any impact on voters. It is well known that they lie and hate Trump. There are 3 camps now. Those who support Trump, those who don’t, and the rest don’t follow the news or care. If the Democrats had chosen a candidate who brought something unique or exciting to the table they may have won some independents but instead they have an old, worn out politician having his Bob Dole moment.

#8 Agree with you about the Dead Horse with Hannity... get off the Dead Horse. The President has to control his impulses to hit back at insignificant stuff. Is there a strategy in place or are they shooting from the hip? Where are the political geniuses? Trump needs to focus on the campaign and take small steps and chip away, chip away, chip away. Bring in some talented people to create a fresh presentation. Greg Gutfeld comes to mind. Create a new slogan for 2020. Don't be predictable by reciting a litany like Hannity does every night. Boring! Be positive. Enthusiasm sells. This was done in 2016 very effectively. Would like to see him make some appearances on Newsmax. Great people over there like Steve Bannon. Take control with confidence...Do it now. The Base is hungry. Yes, "The time has come,' the Walrus said, To talk of many things: Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax — Of cabbages — and kings " From a poem by Lewis Carroll

The news is unwatchable. For the most part, I leave it off. Its full of lies and distortions. Just listen to what they are saying about CV19 for a few minutes, and its apparent. Case are at an all time high. No mention of new testing. Deaths are increasing. They didn't mention that the CDC said that deaths are down. The hospitals are filling up. No mention that the hospitals are back to treating everything again. They also manufacture stories, and use them against a Republican governor. This is the local news, and some of what they say about the governor eventually makes the national news. This is down in Florida where the left is making a determined effort to derail Trump. Florida has the Republican national Convention, and is basically Trump's second home state. Its not news. Its propaganda. It should be noted that when Trump went after NASCAR and Bubba Wallace, he also attacked the Cleveland Indians and Washington REDSKINS for changing their names. Corporate America has been cynical cowards dealing in symbolism rather than anything concrete. Name changes won't save one life in the black community. Trump has been spot on for calling out corporate America. Another thing about Bubba Wallace. So far, he does not appear to even remotely resemble Colin Kaepernick. Also think NASCAR is using Bubba Wallace in a ploy to get new sponsors and publicity. How much of what going on in NASCAR is being driven by NASCAR, and how much is being driven by Bubba Wallace? Get the impression Trump's strategy has been to take a step back and give the left more than the enough rope to hang themselves. People aren't supporting the BLM riots and 'protests'. People aren't supporting the CV19 scamdemic. People aren't supporting the bogus impeachment attempt against Trump. People aren't supporting our lying media. In November, people will not support Befuddled Biden or a corrupt tyrannical Democratic party that has embraced Marxism and Communism. As for the Trump critics, name one better alternative to Trump. There isn't one. The biggest problem facing Trump is getting publicity. The CV19 scam has almost as effectively shutdown Trump as it has done Biden. He needs to be seen more.

Paris climate treaty

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Teachers unions have been instrumental in keeping American schools online during the pandemic. But some have escalated their positions on reopening to include an array of social justice demands. A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. Done. I don’t need to go through a long list of reasons why nobody should take pollsters seriously anymore, but a few data points are instructive.

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says.
