Even in perfect conditions with teleprompters to read from, Joe Biden still forgets what he's talking about. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is barely there.
Appearing virtually at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' 2020 Virtual Political Conference on Wednesday, Biden appeared to be reading from a teleprompter when he repeatedly lost his train of thought.
"Lonnie knows I believe this every fiber of being, we're opposed," Biden began confidently enough before he seemingly lost his place with the teleprompter.
Biden then switched to platitudes about making "it happen" and illuminating "the path forward."
"What I propose is, is, it can be done.

a person suffering from aphasia sometimes cannot read the word missing fromtheir vocabulary, much less say it. and it will only get worse.
old Jo falls back on the same excuse - not enough time to say the words - he did that during the dimocrat debates. It doesn't work any more.
He has become a pitiful character.

I think old racist joe deserves every bit of this; for the rest of US, it's at least some justice for the damage he's done to this country for decades.

...there is NO WAY this clown is on the Ticket in Nov.
The dem Plan is so obvious : ...drag it out...no appearances by Slow Joe...or debates...ALL due to his concern over " not spreading Covid....then in Sept he suddenly drops out due to "health reasons"
...dems stick with a new un-vetted, obviously unqualified, candidate who has avoided months of scrutiny.
...it doesn't matter who they put in ...they are hoping they 4 years of non-stop hate and lies will propel enough people to vote AGAINST PDJT

Could it be that Biden is getting prompting from off stage through a tiny receiver in an ear? Such input in addition to the teleprompter would confuse many of us I'm sure. Electronic interference by Republicans might be a wise precaution if the debates actually occur.

It is really pitiful to see him change courses in the middle of a sentence WHILE READING a teleprompter...
And THIS is the man who will be responsible and tasked with deciding to press the proverbial "button"??
He is called the "Trojan horse" in the article... so his radical VP or a group of radical advisors will be COACHING him?

Wow. He “starts out confidently“ with a garbled sentence which makes no sense at all. If he can’t even make it through one coherent sentence while reading it, his staff is going to have to put him in a steel bunker. His dementia is so obvious from the basement that they need to do a better job of hiding it. And it will only getting worse.
I’m with #4. Biden deserves everything that’s happening to him. I just wish he actually realized what is happening and that it was causing him pain, but I doubt that he has a clue. Everything is just fine in his tiny world.

Wife Jill, DR. Jill (I forgot) should have ushered this man off the stage way early on........it is pretty humiliating to see him out there not being coherent or knowing where he is, yet the PRESS covers for him. As to Tom Friedman, isn't he the man who married $$$$$$ and lives very well indeed above the fray, so he can afford to be sleazy and also virtue signal---for him the end justifies the means.

I remember a couple of election cycles back when Rick Perry couldn't remember one of three agencies he was referencing to make a point in the debate ... OMG! It was though he had a seizure or stroke on stage. The press slaughtered him for simply forgetting one minuscule thing. But Biden is totally gone mentally and cognitively and yet they say nothing. The press are a bunch of sheep and have become the laughing stock of this time. Every time they open their mouth they spew lies and falsehoods and give the Democrats a pass at everything. I keep wondering what is their incentive to do that? It has to be money. I wish the American people would wise up and not listen to them. They are truly the enemy of the people.

#15 Remember when Bush didn't know the name of the President of Chechnya, or Musharraf?
NBC tried to make Bush look incompetent by asking him the name of random leaders of the 195 countries. Let's see when they plan to do that to Biden.

We are watching a slow, obvious, public disaster. Joe is fading fast. He is much worse than he was just a few months ago.
But, remember, almost no Americans were aware that President Roosevelt was totally wheelchair bound, even after about 12 plus years "in the public eye". The media are perfectly willing, and have been for 80 years, to cover up for the personal failings of a Democrat, while inventing phony failings of Republicans.

Yeah, a lot of dem voters would vote for a pile of doggy doo doo. They figure once they are in power, they would sort out who they actually want to govern. Even for them, enthusiasm is going to be in short supply. But the mushy middle is not going to be so "OK" with a candidate that never shows up. For these folks, not showing up for a debate will be losing the debate. Plus, his fumbles and mumbles are now only going out to a highly partisan audience. The media can clean up his performance by simply ignoring it. But the convention and debates are live and unedited and VERY high pressure. The Country is going to be shocked at Uncle Joe's obvious mental incapacity. Gropey Joe is too dumb to know what kind of trouble he is in.

The first presidential election that I remember was Kennedy / Nixon in 1960. Nixon and Kennedy were serious men, although Nixon much more so than Kennedy. Since then there have been weak candidates on both sides: McGovern. Mondale, Dukakis, Dole, McCain and Romney among them, but all were serious men, more or less. Obama was an anomaly, a completely unqualified, underachieving puppet whose election was basically an expression of white liberal guilt.
But we've never seen anything like this.

The smell of schadenfreude hangs heavy in the air, like gunpowder at an indoor range.
Call me a cruel bad person if you like, but I’m enjoying watching Joe Biden self-destruct. I want to be watching when he finally collapses into utter gibberish on live television, and wanders off the stage mumbling. This old drook deserves every bit of public humiliation, abuse, disgust and opprobrium that comes his way.

It’s a sign of worse things to come. Bet he can’t count backwards from 100 to 75 either. It’s sinful to allow someone to disgrace themselves like this. Democrats are dimwits.
