Last week in St. Louis, an angry mob trespassed on the property of Mark and Patricia McCloskey and threatened harm to the couple. “I was a person scared for my life who was protecting my wife, my home, my hearth, my livelihood,” McCloskey told reporters, describing his state of mind as he brandished an AR-15 and Patricia brandished a handgun. Their actions kept the mob at bay and brought to light another chilling reality.
Local prosecutor Kimberly Gardner faulted the McCloskeys for protecting their lives and property. Missouri State Representative Rasheen Aldridge, who organized the protest, claimed “We’re not doing anything where we’re hurting anyone or putting anyone in danger.”

ARM stands for the American Revolution Movement for Self Defense.
Billingsley cited as an example the deterrent the biker organizations have provided when looters were threatening.
As looting and arson spread across California, bikers from the Vagos and Molochs stationed themselves and their Harley Davidsons in front of stores in San Luis Obispo, where—surprise!—no looting, arson or violence took place. Meanwhile, the Hell’s Angels and Mongols caught wind of an Antifa move on Placerville, California. Sure enough, Antifa never showed up. No pasty-faced dance major from UC Davis is going to throw down with this crowd. Yes, the Angels and such can be rowdy, but these are patriots who love America.

Well Rasheen, when you go past signs saying don't come here, and go thru gates put up to make that point for the ones too stupid to read the signs, you know what? You are going where you don't belong and you are putting yourself in danger. And if you are going in a gang, guess what? The people behind those signs and gate have a right to privacy and not have a gang of thugs with an agenda to be there disturbing their lives. In my part of the country you wouldn't have to worry about "not doing anything where we're hurting people or putting anyone in danger". Better stay in the big cities to do your dirty work, because small town America isn't impressed.

When criminals, thugs, and bullies get away with their actions, they will continue to do more. Politicians have restrained law enforcement, to the detriment of law-abiding citizens. Once a line is crossed, citizens will rise up and defend themselves.
Politicians want law-abiding citizens to ''take it'' for the benefit of politicians. Just file a claim with you insurance company. Don't make trouble. Turn the other cheek. We must allow the self-identified ''victims'' express themselves.
Things are starting to change. The pendulum is starting to swing the other way, and it's because of law-abiding citizens, not politicians!

The time to actually arm, as a 2nd amendment right, is long past due. I ride and I conceal carry, but there are many anti gun people 'pantywaists' who would expect a member of this 'ARM' to come to their aid when the SHTF, but would never think to come help me when I'm the target. I might have to live amongst Karens, but I don't have to worry about them.

ok.. then let him put his LIFE on the line in case ANY damage is done to others OR their
property.. if he is willing to vouchsafe the security of others he should be willing to
sacrifice HIS life if HIS constituent terrorists do any damage..

I have been armed at home since the middle 1960s, and armed when I travel to most other states since about 1995 when I got an out of state Florida concealed carry permit which gave me the ability to be armed in 26 states at that time, but not my home state. After well over a decade of working on it, I got my first Kansas concealed carry permit in Jan 2007. Now I am armed everywhere I go, except in rare cases where I find it necessary to go to a totalitarian state which does not honor my CCW permit.
I'm definitely armed - and I hope more people do it. I am currently helping a previously disengaged millennial young lady to get involved in voting and showing her how to find out which local candidates are helping and which are causing the problems to be worse, give her guidance on various candidates' past political histories. I have been pleasantly surprised at how sharp she is and how much she does see already about what has been happening. Her attitude gives me more cause to believe that the Dems have seriously overreached with this violence and have moved a lot of folks out of their comfortable political 'slumber' to become active voters for the freedom and constitutional law side, when they never were before voters or otherwise engaged in politics in their lives.

There is a difference between armed, and armed and outnumbered. This proposes having a localized network of armed able neighbors to fen off silly little Ninja mobs. Very good Idea. Sign me up.

Minute Men -- citizens who are ready to defend their liberty at a moment's notice. Today we need a nation of minute men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of America, cannot succeed with any lesser effort.

Great idea, but I have a problem with the McCloskeys' response. If they were afraid for their lives and the mob was on their property, don't brandish anything. Pull and shoot. Provocative actions don't solve anything with the mob or LE. It's the old Gurkha rule. If you pull the dagger then draw blood.

The commie demos want gun control. No guns...... McCloskeys (and all others) will be helpless. Biden will be worse than zero, not ideologically but he'll be totally controlled. November is critical for future.

Of the McCloskeys had just discharged both barrells of a twice barreled shootgun into the air as suggested by the dim candidate for Prez the "protestors" would have retreated!!
