Chief Justice John Roberts’s Lack of
Courage Is Damaging the Supreme Court

Decisions on abortion and separation of powers demonstrate how good ideas about the law become empty words on a page. T here is a saying — perhaps as old as Aristotle — that courage is the first virtue, because it makes all the others possible. We usually associate courage (or its absence) with leadership by elected officials: There are times when it is hard to stand up for your principles, to stand against your own party, or both. From judges, we are told, the important thing is to follow, not to lead: to have the ascetic self-discipline to apply the Constitution and laws as written,

For over 100 years now the Marxist Communist democrats, rino's, liberals, independents, have been working for Lucifer. They are all anti-Christs. Working to build their "Tower of Babel", as they try to prove to God that they can build their on version of "Heaven on earth", which is "hell on earth." JUNE 28, 1787, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin spoke and shortly after, the U.S. Constitution became a reality. “ Groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights. In the beginning of the Contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger, we had daily prayer in this room for Divine protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending Providence in our favor. And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance? And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance? We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that 'except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it'. I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed no better than the Builders of Babel."

It has been a thought of mine for quite awhile. The Murdock boys are liberal, but it is their wives who I've heard are extremely liberal, and if this is true, I'd like you to imagine going home every night and getting badgered with their liberal thought. Well this probably is what Roberts goes through. The Washington crowd controls the wives by letting them attend their 'wonderful' parties, and if they do NOT toe the liberal line they do NOT get invited to their wonderful parties. So the husbands toe the liberal line to keep their wives happy. Oh what a pussy these liberals are. NO BALLS at all!!! I cannot prove this, but deep, very deep down in my heart I do believe, without a scintilla of proof that I'm totally within the ballpark.

Roberts is a huge disappointment, but I believe he revels in his role as legislator from the bench. Don’t expect him to change either. When someone falls into that mindset, nothing will change them. No cogent argument will ever be enough to crack their thick skull. Roberts is powerful and all knowing. His ego is his God and he will worship it. Each vote is a vote of confirmation of his intellect and power. The best we can hope for is his resignation which will not happen. However, adding two more judges to the court which will reduce his power and that will be a beautiful thing to behold. Now more than ever, Trump 2020 and every “R” down ballot. We need at least two more constitutionalists on the court.

And as Rush said yesterday, DEMOCRATS don't seem thrilled with him simply because he IS so unreliable, so NOT what he claimed to be, torturing the law to fit his decisions, or reversing himself. That may alarm the Base and it darned well should. One big reason I voted for Trump was because I knew who Hillary would put on the Supreme Court. There may be two vacancies next Presidential term, and we simply cannot afford Biden, at the total control of the far left, to stack it. That will be the end of not only the Republican Party but the country we grew up is happening already.

Unusually, one can date Roberts' joining the other team to a precise point in time: during the writing up of the Obamacare case. His switch was so open and obvious that there was no concealing it, so intellectually bankrupt that nobody else joined his opinion, and so abrupt that the conservative Justices actually had to rewrite their opinion to deal with it. Normally I scorn to yield to conspiratorial ruminations, but after the last few years in Washington, one would have to be an outright fool not to believe there in fact are conspiracies afoot, abetted by a renegade Intel Community with unbridled powers and accountable to nobody but itself. It is entirely possible that someone did threaten Roberts, and he has run to the Left for cover.

It took several months for the first iteration of the Ferguson Effect to become obvious. Michael Brown was fatally shot by a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer in August 2014, triggering local riots and a national narrative about lethally racist police. Officers backed off proactive policing in minority neighborhoods, having been told that such discretionary enforcement was racially oppressive. By early 2015, the resulting spike in shootings and homicides had become patent and would lead to an additional 2,000 black homicide victims in 2015 and 2016, compared with 2014 numbers. Today’s violent-crime increase—call it Ferguson Effect 2.0 or the Minneapolis Effect—has come on with a speed and magnitude

The fevered frenzy against public monuments has caused varied reactions. Among scholars, the main symptom is seemingly contagious dispassion. When a New York Times columnist spoke with art historian Erin Thompson, for example, their interview closed with Thompson recommending the use of chains for those interested in inverting large objects. She appears to have an affinity for neither art nor history. Thompson may have caught the bug from archaeologist Sarah Parcak, who recently — and apparently satirically — briefed mobs struggling to dislodge obelisks. “It is sometimes complained,” drawls historian William Cavert, “that such acts erase history.” According to him, that is a popular grievance against the destruction of statues

As protesters and armed anarchists seized control last month of a swath of Seattle's downtown that includes a police station, dubbing it Capitol Hill Organized Protest, the local and mainstream media largely echoed elected leaders by insisting it was a peaceful protest – until people started getting killed. The spin by the Seattle Times and national outlets that covered it belied the violent and dangerous origin of the area that began on June 8, when Seattle police abandoned their own station and allowed self-described anarchists to create a "police-free" zone. On Wednesday, police went back in and finished clearing out the area,

As states begin to reopen and America tries to recreate normalcy, masks have replaced social distancing as the new moral statement. Just as adherence to lockdowns was framed by many as a sign of virtue—with some arguing that those who refused to abide by the lockdown orders should forfeit medical care for Covid-related indications—masks have become a face-borne signal of righteousness. As a virologist, I find this perplexing, considering the limited evidence in favor of masks. More than anything, the scientific rationale behind masks appears to be that wearing them does little harm. Countervailing benefit need not be particularly significant to justify a public-health intervention.
