Dems’ Worst Nightmare – What
If V-Shaped Recovery Is Real?

Original Article

During World War II, Allied political leaders flashed a two-finger salute signifying a “V,” for “Victory.” Today that same salute might instead denote “V” for “V-shaped recovery,” a victory of another kind. Across the nation, as the pandemic lockdowns slowly end, the economy is picking up pace. Will it continue? Sure looks that way. Don’t be fooled by Thursday’s report on weekly jobless claims, which rose 1.51 million for the week ending June 13, causing a mild stock market sell-off after it was announced. That’s a bad number, to be sure, and higher than the 1.3 million expected by most

As soon as the Government cuts off the $600 Bonus to Those receiving Unemployment, they will flock back to work! It's the reason Small Business Owners say they can't get their Employees back to work. Can't blame them, they never had so much money before. But all good things need to come to an end, and so does the $600 windfall!

Decent article but I think it comes from the perspective that we are playing in the same political environment as past elections. Sure the democrats will consider an economic recovery that is too good too soon as a bad thing. In the past that could have sealed the deal. Not now. They have stopped allowing the constraints of the past, formal pleasantries such as the rule of law and the constitution to limit them.. They are revolting in the streets. All an economic recovery will do is inspire them to make their next move. They could keep the violence going all the way to November, they could engage foreign entities within their global one world order cabal to launch a new attack. They could drag out somebody to claim Trump raped them with a hood ornament and a pickle.

#1 I don't think so. There are still industries that are completely shut down and don't know when they will open up. Our son works for one of those industries. First they cut the salary by 20%, then they laid off 3/4 of them and furlough the ones they wanted to keep. Then they laid off the furlough ones. So everybody now is on unemployment until they don't know when or until they find another job. If your company calls you back and you refuse, you cannot collect unemployment. The current unemployment is $300 per week and is considered a lot to file for welfare. The $600 helps a lot, especially for a family of four. In spite of all this burden, we are all supporting the President to the end.

This V-shaped recovery, if real, will be torpedoed by the second wave of COVID infections if one is needed. The tea leaves are not hard to read. The "second wave" will be used as a comeuppance for those who doubted all the "truth" about the first round, proof that all this "executive action" was necessary, and it will be more severe, etc. The players in all this, and I'm not talking the bought scientists who spew misleading "science", will see that the US is in turmoil through the election, at least. And if that further destroys the economy, we know whose fault it is.

I am really encouraged by how many normal Americans are coming to the conclusion that the Wuhan Flu scamdemic was cooked up mostly as an attempt to hurt Trump. It will be an interesting November for sure.

I never use the 2 fingered 'V' salute, because it was appropriated by the anti Vietnam protesters as a 'peace' sign. I served there, and so it's offensive to me. I don't care if others use it for whatever purpose, and not being a liberal, I won't demand it be banned, but I won't use it. I have friends that served in the same conflict, and most feel the same way.

Many people are living on social security that is roughly the amount of unemployment without the $600 bonus. They make do with what they are getting or get a part-time job. Then there are those with a little foresight who contributed to retirement plans, I have heard many conversations among teenagers who were called back to work and decided to milk the government instead. The bonus should have stopped weeks ago.

Once again, we 'discover' that whatever you subsidize, you get more of. Subsidize laying around and collecting unemployment with a bonus.....and you will have more of it. Why is this surprising? Get rid of the bonus, and even the unemployment, and guess what? People will find work. Hunger is a great motivator. I know several people - not anyone I would call a friend - who have milked unemployment as long as they possibly could, and only after it ran out did they seriously seek work.

It is real. The stock market has gained 7,000 points, even with the alleged "sell off." There is a lot of money that was saved during the lockdown. My own checking account balance has ballooned. That money is going to come back into the economy--and already is-- and the recovery will be swift.

Most people are canny enough to know that when someone advertises himself or herself as a certain kind of thing, the opposite is likely to be the case. Think: "Honest John's Used Cars." "Mom's Cooking." "We're from the government and we're here to help." "I'm a lady." Which brings us to Meghan Markle, the Hollywood B-list actress who finagled a role for a couple of years as the Duchess of Sussex. After telling us how selfless she was for ditching the royal family in order to go make money (off of them, no less), including a coming March 8 tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey, here's the biteback from Buckingham Palace:

Dissidents have been warning us for years about the nature of China's communist totalitarian regime. But unlike a lot of them, the dictatorship also has money and markets. In the West, that means quisling defenders, many with a snoot in the trough. So here comes a pitched curve ball for China's clapping seals, according to the South China Morning Post: A Chinese court has upheld a ruling that a textbook description of homosexuality as "a psychological disorder" was not a factual error but merely an "academic view". The Chinese LGBT community, and the 24-year-old woman who filed the lawsuit, have expressed disappointment at the decision,

AUSTIN, Texas - Republican Texas State Representative Bryan Slaton has filed a bill in the Texas House of Representatives asking that a portion of I-35 in Austin be renamed the Steve Adler Public Restroom Highway. The portion Slaton is asking to be renamed is the area between 4th Street and 11th Street where those experiencing homelessness reside. Slaton, who represents House District 2, says in a news release that "since the legislature has made it clear it intends to rename some highways and bridges this session, I think it's imperative that we start with a highway that truly recognizes the contributions of (Austin) Mayor Adler."

Although often ignored by the mainstream press, the Investor’s Business Daily-sponsored IBD/TIPP poll has proven to be the most accurate in the past five presidential elections. And since 2001,

Though widely anticipated, the death of Rush Limbaugh after a long battle with cancer is a major blow to conservatives. His witty, often acerbic commentary had been a daily anchor to reality for many Americans, tired of the mainstream media’s lies, bias and prevarications. But with his death, Limbaugh leaves a hole in the conservative movement that is impossible to fill. The center-right media firmament has many bright stars. Unfortunately, none shine as brightly as Rush did. As the numerous accounts of his death and life point out, he was the most listened to radio show host in history. He

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office released its economic forecast for the next decade. It got little press attention, probably because it completely undermines the arguments for another massive COVID-19 stimulus bill. President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress continue to portray the economy as deep in a recession. In Wisconsin on Wednesday, for example, Biden said that “Now is the time we should be spending. Now is the time to go big.” But according to the CBO’s economic forecast, real GDP this year will climb by 4.6%. Assuming that holds true, it would be the biggest annual increase in gross

To the extent that Joe Biden drew votes, a very big reason was the expectation from parents and students that he would re-open the public schools, currently on extended shutdown over COVID concerns. That was his promise, that was a signature issue, with many pixels spilled in multiple spots on Biden's campaign website supporting the claim that he was serious about re-opening schools. Now that he's in office, too bad for those who actually believed him. Instead of re-opening the schools, Biden's re-drawn himself a goal line for school re-opening so pathetic, so wretched, so insignificant it's actually lower than what's already going on now in school reopenings.

A weird thing happened right after the Nov. 3 election: nothing. The nation was braced for chaos. Liberal groups had vowed to take to the streets, planning hundreds of protests across the country. Right-wing militias were girding for battle. In a poll before Election Day, 75% of Americans voiced concern about violence. Instead, an eerie quiet descended. As President Trump refused to concede, the response was not mass action but crickets. When media organizations called the race for Joe Biden on Nov. 7, jubilation broke out instead, as people thronged cities across the U.S. to celebrate the democratic process that resulted in Trump’s ouster.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
