V-shaped recovery, here we come? Maaayyybeee, but there is no doubt that today’s advance retail numbers for May show reason for hope. Even while a number of states still enforced lockdowns and restrictions on retail and food service establishments, the Census Bureau announced today that May’s numbers made up all the lost ground in April — and then some.
Donald Trump wasted little time taking a victory lap on Twitter over the new numbers:(Snip for tweet) The biggest increase of all time came after one of the biggest craters in this series of all time, too, but it also bested it by three percentage points. The news wasn’t all bright

His numbers don't take into consideration that many states are still in lockdown. If they were to open up it could make a huge difference in the percentages.

This is the result of an investigation by Tucker Carlson and staff....and at the same time he confronts Mike Lee, John Sensenbrenner, Doug Collins and others for their allowing this kind of thing to happen...,.,they wonky even go on tv to defend why they defend Google etc. Carlson points out, not bragging just telling, that his program two nights ago re: Black Lives Matter as a political insurrection force, was the highest rated show on tv that night---which he says proves that WE are out there and agree but are afraid to speak up.

As soon as the lockdown was lifted, people came into the stores especially those with children. Kids outgrow clothes and shoes fast and I noticed a lot of action in the children's section. I needed new athletic shoes and my t-shirts were getting threadbare. Hey, elites - we ordinary people need clothes too. We don't have personal shoppers who can nip out and buy us kente cloth scarves for our photo ops.

Yay! Now the Democrats will have to figure out yet another way to slow things down until after the election. So far nothing is working for them. The Pandemic, Shutting down the entire country, opening only Red states, Riots and Looting and on and on and on. Now they're trying to slow us down by saying another Pandemic is coming, but nobody is listening. People are so darn glad to get back to their lives, they're running right past those who say "Go back in your homes until there is a vaccine"! Ha! Fat Chance of that happening. We will never let them shut us down again! Go Trump!

The Country is circling the toilet bowel but by golly money is showing up again. I have always had enough money, regardless of the worlds crisis. Money is easy to get, freedoms, not so much. Americans will once again go back to work and once again ignore the fact that this Country has less freedoms and more corruption than it had before this latest orgy of sin. Far too many people depend on others to allow themselves to work, play, socialize and simply live. Life can be joyous thru the good times and the bad times. It is all up to you.

YAY! The flat tire has some air left in it. I never credit Presidents with the economy, nor hold it against them. And certainly not on a short month-log basis. There is a long road to November...COVID will make another guest appearance, and my guess its virulence will depend on election polling. And who knows what other crises are lined up on the UNIPARTY runway for takeoff, Mission: Trump.

You can imagine the shopping spree of Pelosi and the democrats for those kente scarfs at the party store for their photo op pandering. Poor old George Floyd was from South Carolina not Africa but somehow democrats put Floyd in Africa.
We have noticed (we live in a blue state still mostly locked down) but there is much more movement on streets with the few businesses allowed to open along with some restaurants. More bustling in the streets than a month ago.

The Trump Recovery will be strong and broad. Count on it. The Enemedia try their damnedest to destroy the country with their lies, but we will not be held down.

If restaurant business is any indication, the recovery is going to be swift and big. Restaurants here are only open for outdoor dining, but are packed. Reservations have to be made a week in advance for Saturday night. People are tired of staying home. Those that kept their jobs have more money to spend, since they didn't spend anything on eating out, working out, haircuts, manicures, shopping, etc. during lockdown. All of that money is going to come back into the economy, and already is.
