In Monday’s ruling inserting “gender identity” into the word “sex” in a 1964 employment law, the U.S. Supreme Court called a man a woman, possibly leading to eventually forcing everyone else to do so also. The ruling will lead to a tsunami of polarizing court cases and further degradation of Americans’ natural rights to free speech, to free association, and to worshipping God as their consciences require. All this in the name of “equality,” a word that has become a totalitarian weapon.(Snip)This decision is a disgrace to these bedrocks of Western civilization, our nation built upon them, the voters who vote for them, and to these men’s honor.

So much for having a 5-4 SCOTUS -- looks like Gorsuch is the next Roberts who has been the next Souter/Kennedy.

It can be repealed when the opposition gets enough votes. Remember “Dred Scott” and Prohibition?

I would suspect that most of these shoot from the hip Justices have numerous homos clerking for them and were afraid to evaluate in a logical and moral manner. The insidious nature in which homos have gravitated to political power over the last 40 years is disturbing. This ruling will further accelerate the moral rot and stench of homosexuals in our society. Always remember, the first ones rounded up and sent off to the Nazi death camps were homosexuals, liberal politicians, and university professors. We the hard left to take control of this country the pattern would be the same. Homos have opened one too many "closet doors."

I am in full agreement with Justice Kavanaugh’s statement regarding the ruling: The courts are not supposed to make law. That is the job of Congress.

Thanks, so much you black-robed morons. You just guaranteed a second revolution. You. Didn't. Think!!!
Considering you legislated from the bench, I hope the next Congress feels free to adjudicate from their chambers, and explain to you why you can't do that. Give you a good slap in the chops. My God, it's bad enough that one party demands loyalty to their aims no matter what your oath to US! You namby pamby, ignoramuses have to make it worse instead of defending America! What you sought to protect wasn't in danger. What you failed to protect is American Liberty of Speech, of Religion, of Person. You just blew it all open to a tiny special interest group who will use it to do incalculable damage.

The president should compel the intelligence agencies to release whatever dirt there is on compromised actors in positions of power who, unlike David Souter, lack the basic integrity to resign once pressured.

The list of quotable truths is growing. Orwell started it.
War is peace
Freedom is slavery
Ignorance is strength
Add
Facts are lies
Truth is false
Science is evolving
C'mon in, there are plenty more. Just ask SCOTUS!

While the SCOTUS clowns are at it, why not include alien species, animals, bacteria, plants, rocks etc. …We wouldn’t want to discriminate against any thing or any living creature would we!
It’s no wonder why our Legal System is so screwed up. With everyone in charge doing what feels good we’re going down the tubes very rapidly!

I'm sure Mitch will be the first to introduce legislation correcting this mistake...and PDT will endorse it at the Convention in August.

For many years I thought Lewis Carroll was joking when he had a character say that words meant whatever he wanted them to mean. Sex in 2020 has now been defined differently than it was in 1974. Goody.
Can we redefine "shall" to mean "shall not"? Why not?
It is truly a Brave New World. Pass a law, and 50 years later learned that the law banned something you never even considered. Laws, in other words, have no meaning, All contracts are void. I don't owe any taxes. "Owe" has been redefined to mean "do not owe". Forget it, IRS.
I don't have to follow a speed limit. I don't have to stop for a red light. Red now means green.
Chaos and anarchy will follow SCOTUS on the road to ruin.
We are doomed.

#5, right. But unfortunately there aren't enough Republicans with the you-know-what to write and get passed the appropriate legislation.
I can't say i was surprised. Disappointed, disgusted. I hate to judge by appearances, but Gorsuch has that pasty soft look, "Oh, I'm so nice! I'm such a nice person. ...Constitution? what Constitution?" And when he spoke, there was that same weak, feebleness.
makes me sick
If the Left finally gets Congress and the Presidency, and it could happen soon, SCOTUS won't matter any more, anyway, because what we've got brewing is the kind of "revolutionary" spirit which is driven by a godless hatred, like every communist revolution before it.
I'm not sure how much POTUS understands. Little law enforcement executive orders, and especially empty threats of "or else, I'll take care of it" just don't matter.
He MUST address the nation regarding the serious issues. Remind people that previous Presidents have used force (Democrats: Clinton --several hundreds under Janet Reno, and Obama --used IRS agents and went after the cattle ranchers [i forget where]) and that this is not his intention. But there is no civil society without civil order.
People need a sense of stability and the clear expression of Truth. Too many people get their news and info from fraudulent, deceptive, seditious sources. For one thing it would be encouraging for Conservatives. A rally is too rambunctious and happy for the serious reminder of how important our history is, not to tear down its monuments, but to understand it and how people rose to meet the challenges and inequities.
What the Court keeps doing is taking away or weakening the Citizens' right to liberty and self-governance. Maybe next term, President Trump will have to "pack the court" /s

Hmmm...Wasn't it The Federalist that was plugging for Neil Gorsuch's confirmation?
So, this is what we got after all that ruckus and noise to confirm him?
And what can we say about Roberts?
This was purely legislating from the bench. This SCOTUS is void.

Before the month is out, some sexually confused person will get a doctor to decide that a sex change operation is not elective surgery, and is essential to the pervert's wellbeing.
With that, the transsexual-to-be will sue his/her/it's employer because the insurance company denied coverage.
And it will be back before SCOTUS to rule that all health plans must cover sex change operations, just like they cover measles. And the Little Sisters of the Poor will have to purchase sex change coverage that will never be used.

In Trump's second term, we have to pack the Court. The Donkeys are planning to anyway. The Court is going to have to listen better to the people. Who do they think they are. Pack the Court.

Here's the Deal. These Justices all have something in their Closet that is being used against them. Gorsuch is no different than Roberts. We all know that Roberts has children who were adopted in a manner that was "unusual" (think Illegal maybe). So, whatever they have on Gorsuch will keep him in line for as long as needed. I see this happening and I'm glad I'm 79! I don't want to see what this country will look like 10 or 20 years from now!
