The Problem with George Will

George Will's a funny guy. He is willing to aid our ideological foes for our own good. He will teach us how wrong we've been to support President Trump by facilitating Marxist socialism's stranglehold on what's left of America's Constitution. After fighting for Democrats to win everything this November, he will turn around and help us rebuild a Republican Party in his image for the miserable decades to come. When we voted for Donald Trump in 2016, weren't we rebelling against not only Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but also the shriveled and putrid corpse of a Grand Old Party that had long since given up being grand

George will is part of that "establishment' that sells "true conservatism" by the cartload. He has his schtick, with the bowtie, Cubs rooter persona and erudite manner. His stuff is sold in low brow vessels, newspapers and once Newsweek (Sold for a dollar) magazine, for mass consumption. He shows up on Sunday talk shows with brilliant observations and insight. George Will will certainly be among the first to plump for a "proper conservative candidate" in 2020, like the moderate-conservative-in-waiting Mitt Romney. If Trump's numbers fade while Biden's remain flatlined, Romney will find himself "drafted" to provide a reasonable alternative, resurrecting that hero of the Olympics who is an astute businessman who gets things done. Just wait a few weeks...

George, Bill Kristol and several others define the old term neocon. It meant 'new conservative' back in the day and it was applied to liberals who supposedly joined the GOP. Well like McCain, they might have technically changed their party label, but they never really did become conservatives. They are all at heart still LEFTISTS.

Yep read every one of his early books (including Men at Work, the only sports book I've ever read). I even talked to him at a lecture he gave here on LI. Unfortunately George has now joined the Trump Derangement crowd - he's mistaken the man for the agenda. He so despises Trump that he would dump Trumps agenda (which is essentially Will's conservative agenda) if it would get rid of Trump. It's short sighted and wrong but George is pushing 80 and well into Joe Biden mental territory so I'm chalking it up to "Hope one day I don't become a confused old coot like George Will".

Nothing even slightly funny about useful idiots like Will. IMO, they are globalists at heart, or possibly just so totally wedded to their cocktail party circuit in DC and NYC that they have become just actors, playing the part of a 'conservative' at certain times, pontificating as if they were experts, but actually not believing in any of what they spout. As soon as a REAL LIVE, serious conservative comes along, someone willing to dismantle all the globalist, central-planning structures in DC, these faux conservatives see their cushy little niches being 'messed up' and just freak out. So many of them that I used to listen to and pay real attention to, and do not any more. Fakers - just like the Fake News, they are Fake Conservatives.

In three years, Donald Trump, surprisingly in some respects, has done more to advance conservatives and conservative ideology than all of the George Wills, Mona Charens, William Kristols. GOP politicians and other impotent dinosaurs have managed in their entire careers. Even more surprisingly, Trump has far done more to openly support Christians and Christianity than that "Evangelical Christian Islam-is-a-Religion-of Peace" buffoon George W. Bush. Everyone worships something, preferably something holy. After decades of service to rational conservatism and baseball philosophy, George Will finally met his opposite, his nemesis, someone he regards (incorrectly) as profoundly unserious--the president--and exposed his desiccated spiritual core, atheist that he is and probably always has been. Unmoored from true divinity, Will's weakness is intellectual idolatry. He speaks good English, but he's in the service of an evil master he can't discern, finally leading him, essentially, to the repudiation of his life's work. Trump is the stumbling block. And Will has fallen on his face. I wish I could say I'm sorry.

If the Demonrats win the next election there will be no role left for the Republican or any other opposition political party. The country will become a permanent One Party Soviet State because they will flood the country with new citizens and voters by opening the borders to illegal immigration. However gets to the border will be allowed in and given permanent residence. They already have declared plans to vote an increase to the number of Supreme Court Judges and flood it with Demonrat nominees.

Amid the chaos and anarchy across blue-city America that exclusively possessed public attention for the last couple of weeks, it was not hard to miss any other bit of news — especially if that news has not appeared or been even briefly mentioned by any major mainstream media outlet. Take for example the news of Hillary Clinton, who lost her appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on June 2, where she tried to avoid testifying under oath about her emails and the Benghazi case. The hearing in the D.C. Circuit came in the case Judicial Watch v. Whenever Democrats push race to the forefront of the news, reparations pop up. The theory is that, because their forebearers were kidnapped from Africa and enslaved in America, blacks will never catch up economically to whites. It doesn’t matter that there are no slaves or slaveowners today; that most whites are not descended from slaveowners; or that racism impoverished, rather than enriched the South. Scott Adams’ brilliant insight cuts through all this: The comparison isn’t between black wealth and white wealth in America. Instead, the comparison must be the difference between black’s average net worth in America versus black’s average net worth in Africa.

Will Joe Biden remain caged in his basement for the rest of the campaign, speaking only via edited video performances? There is a strong argument for his puppet masters to do so, given his inability to maintain mental focus and coherence, even at the price of refusing to participate in the presidential debates that have been customary since Kennedy met Nixon in a Chicago TV studio in 1962. As I wrote almost a week ago, Biden’s sad mental decline cannot be concealed if he is liberated from his confinement. Yesterday, his handlers must have quickly regretted letting him out

The two destabilizing events recently occurring back-to-back, the response to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, and the George Floyd rioting, illustrate well how America is now institutionally incapable of making decisions in her own best interests. That is, the overreaction to the disease and under-reaction to the rioting reflect a country long demoralized. Moreover, if that’s not troubling enough, know that this is a state of being that usually leads to tyranny. (snip) You may recognize “demoralization” and “destabilization” as the first two steps in the process of communist subversion, explained well by late Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB agent who fled to Canada in 1970.

One of the trite pearls of wisdom repeated ad nauseam for the past several days is that America needs to have an honest conversation on race. It’s a constant theme repeated in the self-flagellating virtue signaling spewing forth from prominent figures in industry, academia, and even the military, put out in hopes that the Orwellian cultural Death Star doesn’t cast its eye of destruction on them. Of course, the media manipulators and leftists have no interest in an honest conversation. The only thoughts allowed in their version are mostly false ones that have been approved by leftists for the purpose of inciting racial hatred and overthrowing America.

The mainstream media will never cover the emerging political confrontation between the two ethnic minorities the Democrats are counting on to propel them to a permanent majority, blacks and Hispanics. The riots and “mostly peaceful demonstrations” following the death of George Floyd have featured lots of white radicals, many blacks, but except for a few Mexican flags here and there, few visible Hispanics or grass roots Hispanic groups. Maybe it is because the consequences of a defunded police structure already are familiar to many Mexicans (and Salvadorans and Guatemalans) (snip) over the past decade endemically corrupt police departments in some areas have been supplanted by autodefensas, or local self-defense militias.
