As antifa militants have taken over six blocks of Seattle’s Capitol Hill district, calling it the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” or the “People’s Republic of Capitol Hill,” Gov. Jay Inslee (D-Wash.) laughed about this open rebellion, saying he hadn’t heard about it. Inslee added that the National Guard is demobilizing, and his chief of staff suggested that even if an open rebellion had broken out on the streets of Seattle, it would be up to “local authorities” to fight it. “Passing the buck” doesn’t even begin to cover the insanity of this “response.”
A reporter asked Inslee about the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone during the governor’s press conference

I have to wonder how long it will take before our Military is called to action to quell this insurrection...This is not a game like these Lib Morons think it is. I have to wonder how this idiot Gov. would feel if HIS family was taken hostage.

What are the kiddies in Seattle doing, taking the city away from themselves? Who do they think is in charge, it’s already “the people” and they already have their own “progressives” in charge of the city and state.
When it comes to urban unrest this is really about leftists not liking how other leftists run things and blaming non-leftists which of course is the definition of the extreme right. And they wonder why we call it a mental disorder.

Inslee's blatant denial of reality reveals an essential part of every liberal's world view: they simply deny reality whenever it doesn't fit that worldview.
For example:
1. When liberals look you in the eye and say that defunding police will not lead to complete and total anarchy...seriously, who are they going to call?
2. When Obama said that his administration had zero scandals...well, unless you count the dozen or so major ones, and hundreds of minor ones.
3. When liberals deny that Obama and his Deep State used federal agencies he had weaponized in an attempted coup de etat to overthrow the duly elected POTUS, DJT.
4. When liberals deny that Hillary Clinton lied about the true history of the Benghazi scandal, and then destroyed evidence, including multiple computers, emails, and cellphones, while under congressional subpoena, to hide the facts.

The ultimate irony is that they have been stealing fencing from construction sites to "build a wall" around the Capitol Hill neighborhood. I thought they were against walls? /s

If POTUS has to call out the active duty military to restore civility then those elected leaders from City Council Members to Governor of the State need to be hauled off to jail for complicity in a criminal enterprise. The whole BLM Terrorist group is a wing of the DNC paying tribute to the Democrat Party in order to fund their anti-Trump campaigns.

#8 That is a tempting attitude to take. But they are not going to stop there. Most of the Governors faced with the looting arsonists in their States had no real resolve to stop it. We may all hope that the citizen vigilantes would step in but few did and they were badly outnumbered. We are deluding ourselves if we think this would never happen in our neighborhood. This needs to be stopped and the politicians condoning it must be removed.

OK, let's play this little game though...
So if I'm tired of paying exorbitant property taxes and having insane communist people running my city government, I can gather neighbors in the 6 blocks around me who think likewise and we just break away from our city and call ourselves something like "New Patriots Autonomous Zone", and that's OK with everyone? I guarantee we have more firepower than these freaks do, and I guarantee that we've been paying a whole lot more in taxes to the commie nuts than these freaks have. In fact, I think we could get about 100 blocks to join our new, tax-free autonomous zone. It would be an awesome July 4 here too then.
We wouldn't defund the police, we'd hire all the ones that are fed up too, and give them "free fire" orders in our "police sanctuary". Maybe even paint "Blue Lives Always Matter!" (BLAM!) on the main road into our zone to welcome any suicidal looters.
How's that work for you?

Somebody has to be supplying these terrorists with food and water. Unless they have taken a bunch of hostages, an overwhelming assault would clear them out in one hour or less. If Inslee is that flippant, he is crazier than the Antifa people are. But hey, it's Seattle, they deserve the product of their votes.

Climate change is far more important to this jerk. What’s going on with Inslee is that he’s incompetent when it comes to handling a real problem and he’s also afraid of angering his base. The way to end this peacefully is to send in the troops to enforce a siege. Be sure to read the article on this...”Let them stew etc.”

As any firefighter will tell you, almost all conflagrations start out small and any doctor will tell you the cancer tumor would have been easier to remove if they caught it 6 months earlier. Same thing here.
No one ... no one in there right minds anyway ... should laugh this off and just assume it's up in Seattle so the hell with them, this will teach them a lesson for being so stupidly liberal! No!!
This must be addressed quickly and harshly before it spreads. Sending the message that this is okay means it will soon be in your neighborhood and don't assume "it can't happen here". It can and will if not nipped in the bud.
This could be just an isolated incident that stays that way, like the Manson murders never lead to the riots old Charlie expected, or this can play out very poorly and end like the storming of the Bastille ... leading to the Reign of Terror and 20,000+ people being guillotined.
Act now governor! Surround the place and march inward with bayonets. I can tell you if the NRA protestors in Michigan pulled a stunt like this the media would be calling for napalm.

Inslee the stupid has been warned by Trump now. Take back Seattle, or he will. Just a note, My nurse daughter talked to one of the cops last night whose precinct got overrun by Antifa. This is not going to end well folks. Those terrorists have access to many things that were left behind, including personal information of the cops. Anyone who has relatives who work for the Seattle PD better tell them to buckle up and stay frosty.

This is planned, folks. It's a statement and a learning program so they can teach other members what to do and what not to do when this spreads to other cities. The brown shirts in Germany and the 13 year old boys in Cambodia looked naive and innocent in the beginning. They want the President to send troops so they can use call him a tyrant and stir up more trouble. The Deep State will continue to throw mud on the walls until they come up with the magic bullet to bring down this president. This is good versus evil and the last administration is doing everything in their power to stop the justice that is coming their way.

Inslee called out the National Guard so now he has to pay for it, and can't. The National Guard receives a certain portion of its funding from the feds. Why? Because most, if not all of the combat units used to round out active duty formations reside in the Guard instead of the Army Reserve. This was a good idea decades ago to get the American people involved during a national emergency. That time is long past. States need MPs and bulldozers, not battle tanks and fighting vehicles. Any combat units required by the active forces should be transferred to the Army Reserve so we don't have to go through petulant governors to get formations mobilized. You want to help your community in the Guard? Fine, but it should be on the states' dime. During WWII, LTG Lesley McNair, CG of Army Ground Forces was the man responsible for training and equipping divisions stateside for deployment overseas. He said that it was easier for him to draft the men, build the tanks and trucks and train up several reserve divisions than it was to mobilize one NG division. The entire structure needs to be overhauled.

#10 - The fact remains that this is a local matter within Seattle. This is not the first time radicals have occupied buildings and land there. In the past they achieved their goals because the public there allowed it. Has it come to your community? I bet not.
Those advocating Federal action, sending in the military, are ignorant of the consequences. At the least will be visuals that echo the Russians in Prague helping "restore order" in '68. "Lock and load" knuckleheads running wild would be worse.
Overreaction advances the cause. If Seattle residents want to resist, press the issue with these radicals, their elected officials have the wherewithal to do so, between police and National Guard. How about letting them do it their way? The consequences are theirs.

Seriously I am sad for the people with homes or businesses stuck inside this mini-state that the governor and mayor seemingly have no stomach to dismantle. These folks are going to be paying tribute to two governments now and getting the benefit of neither. It is a Hobbesian nightmare.

I'm with #20. Democrat governors and mayors have their parts to play in the plan. Just like the mockingbird media get their "word of the day", state/local officials get their strategies and tactics from above. They are all Marxists. It doesn't matter what flavor; Progressive, Socialist or Communist. They are all godless totalitarians whose sole goal is to fundamentally transform America from a nation of free peoples into a slave camp.
The David Mamet quote was right on the money when he first shared his observation. Although it still rings true for the Left's indoctrinated sheeple, its naive to assume it also applies to Dem governors and mayors. Governor Inslee's response was prepared and given purposefully. The base operating strategy of Marxism is mendacity and its favorite tactic is bald face lying in the face of reality. Case Study: The CNN reporter insisting the "protests" were "largely peaceful" as rioters and looters roamed behind him illuminated by a burning building.
The Russian Soviets controlled the population (whether in Moscow, Kiev or the gulags) through the double-speak described by George Orwell. When authorities tell a person they are free when in reality they live as slaves or force them to confess to stealing bread from the more deserving when they are a breathing sack of bones, it causes cognitive dissonance in human beings. When all around you appear to be insane, then sanity becomes the aberration and a "new normal" has been established.
This is the Big Lie. We are battling against two, three or four generations of our fellow citizens that have been indoctrinated into cultural Marxism. Our strength is truth; honest and forceful truth. Our greatest weapons are prayer and fasting. Our champion is President Donald J. Trump.

This governor is a complete embarrassment to the good people of the State of Washington. To state that he knew nothing of the problem at Capitol Hill is ignorance. To react the way he has after learning about it is stupid. So there you have it: ignorant AND stupid as well as dereliction of duty. It is high time we had HONEST elections in the State of Washington. It is high time that this Washington democrat rule to be ended.

Aren’t there families living in these blocks? Are there grocery stores? The residents are not safe. Yet nothing is heard from them. What exactly is going on? Are they going to homes and demanding food, money, or whatever they want? I do not understand how this is allowed for even one more minute! And I don’t understand how the police precinct was given over. How did they manage that and why would the police just run off willingly? I feel like I live in bizzaro world. When Antifa is rousted out of there, I certainly hope they go to prison!
