Seattle’s hard-Left secessionist movement has claimed its first territory: six blocks in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
For the past week, Black Lives Matter and Antifa-affiliated activists have engaged in a pitched battle with Seattle police officers and National Guard soldiers in the neighborhood, with the heaviest conflict occurring at the intersection of 11th and Pike, where law enforcement had constructed a barricade to defend the Seattle Police East Precinct building. Hoping to break through the barricade, protesters attacked officers with bricks, bottles, rocks, and improvised explosive devices, sending some officers to the hospital. At the same time, activists circulated videos of the conflict and accused the police of brutality,

Forget about disbanding the police, every one of these elected officials needs to be fired for incompetence. Citizens pay their salaries and they are not only not doing their jobs, they are endangering the public by not doing so. This is completely unacceptable. Someone please explain to me how, with today's technology, nobody has gotten to the bottom of who is behind this. The media wouldn't report it even if we knew I guess, so does it really matter? This really blows my mind.

This is the result of inappropriate rules of engagement. The police were forced to stand there like a bunch of crash test dummies while faced with brick throwing armed thug portland rejects. I think a bounty of $50 an ear for an antifa or blm types would be a more appropriate response. On the other hand, seattle elected these fools, maybe they need a lesson in responsible governing. Take note, America. This is what voting democrat gets you.

Cut off services and make sure no one gets in or out. Lay siege and see how long they last.

Watched Fox last night (Tucker) and the reporter was outside the confiscated 6 blocks in Seattle. An unhinged punk was screaming behind the reporter and the other one with him was fully armed. This is serious. Sane people in the U.S. are looking at this as a wake up call. The democrat politicians have allowed their states, cities, etc. to be taken hostage. These democrat mayors, council people, governors, etc. have allowed the liberal terrorists to burn down our cities, take neighborhoods hostage, destroy monuments, etc. We are talking violent people. The democrats are talking about taking funding from police and use it toward pushing gun control. This is totally insane.

Then why are these a@@hats destroying Confederate memorials? The South seceded from the USA (which is their goal). What they are doing is far worse than what the South did.

This garbage is no different than Occupy Wall Street! There were rapes and other assaults happening all the time in those quaint little communities. Living conditions became filthy bio-hazards. These klowns have no self-awareness of what they’re actually communicating to John Q. Public; their vision of socialist utopia. These people are horribly unfit to demand that we, as American citizens, accept their version of government in place of our tried, tested, and true Constitutional system of government!
Antifa, the goon squad of the Democrat Party (whether Pelosi agrees or not) hates the Constitution. They hate our way of life. They hate God, Christians, and Jews. They hate lawful authority, which includes cops and the military.
Antifa needs to be crushed and ground to powder!

That area of Seattle has become a mini-Venezuela. The mayor needs to stop all goods and services going into the area. If they catch the virus, do not let them out to go to a doctor. Do not allow food into the area. Cut off their electricity and internet service. It can be done. Let them survive without food and water for a while. Wake up, America! This is coming to you if you don't stop it. Thanks be to Nancy and AOC and Schummer and the Progressives in Congress for all of the riots across the land.

Ordinarily I would point out tgat this is a textbook definition of insurrection and would advocate sending in the military to put it down.
However, this is a teachable moment. Since Seattle and its citizens brought this on themselves, I say let it run its course so that everyone can see radical leftists on full parade. Set up a border to arrest anyone of the involved who attemp to run, and just wait them out. Sure, it will get ugly. But thats the point.

Other Cities are watching! Does anyone think this Playbook won't be followed by the Same People in MN, Chicago, Detroit, LA and other Blue Cities? You bet it will! If those in Seattle are successful in taking over this Area and forcing Residents living inside that six blocks they now Rule, this will be followed by takeovers all over the country. I think Trump should send in the Military and shut it down now. I know people are afraid the country will burn if that happens, but that's what the Thugs are counting on. Fear by Officials that it will happen! This has to be stopped now! I don't see the Guard being able to handle it! Sounds like Antifa is Armed with pretty heavy stuff! I agree that ALL of the people running Seattle should be rounded up and fired ! This is what you get when you appease a Gang!

They created a border around their zone? I thought these types were for open borders.
I was in Seattle last October on a business trip and got a first hand look at the homeless camps. They are even set up in the median on Interstate 5. The week after I was there a lot of the camps were closed down and cleaned up - because there was an election coming up in 2 weeks. Post election, the camps are back and now Seattle has this insanity happening.
The only solution is a good old fashioned siege, circa 6th century. Besides shutting off water, power, medical supplies and food sources, bring in the Marines with small artillery and continually lob tear gas canisters into the zone. Bring in loud speakers and play PDT’s speeches at top volume 24/7. Though I would stop at setting the entire place on fire as was done centuries ago. It won’t have to get that far - they will disband in a matter of days.

This is the result of Occupy Wall Street movement. Since the entire US allowed squatters to occupy private and public lad without consequences, it now is acceptable to occupy (i.e. steal) other peoples' property and livelihood in the name of some BS protest. We have over a generation of youths that have never heard the word no or have never had the word no enforced.

Like Occupy Wall street, a street theater operation, fully supported by the Mayor and the Governor. They could quickly end this, but like the OWS bull carp demonstration, they are just having fun with their leftist play.
People get the government that they vote for.
You voted for this, Washington, enjoy it. And consider who you might want to vote for in November.

Seems to me that some of their actions especially regarding publicity, are right out of the playbook of the mobs of the West Bank and Gaza that we have seen in action since the 70's.
