Absolute Mayhem: Cornel West
Goes Berserk on Fox News' Hannity

Original Article

Cornel West and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell were supposed to have a civil segment on defunding the police, urban violence, and Democratic incompetence at addressing these issues, but things went off the hinges almost immediately. It was absolute mayhem on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News. Hannity prefaced the segment about the Democrats’ inability to govern, which was interrupted by West. The shouting began almost immediately. Terrell hit back at West for just recycling old Democratic talking points. He then tried to have a discussion with West, “black man to black man,” which West did not take well at all.

Comments:

Without affirmative action can anyone imagine Cornel West being an Ivy League professor? Terrell is a surprise here.

Leo knows of what he speaks concerning Cornell; Leo IS Cornell most of the time. Broken clock here, folks. This is what black conservatives deal with all the time; you can't have a civil, thoughtful conversation with black people about their plantations and their plantation masters. If they could get away with it, they would kill us just for having the nerve to speak something besides what they hear from their masters. Notice how Sean deferred to the more out of control and radical Cornell rather that right this time Leo. Annoying.

I can't believe Leo Terrell. I could never stand him but now it would seem that he was struck by lightning because I'm agreeing with him, or rather, he is finally seeing the Democrats as they are and how he helped enable them since his civil rights days. Did he really, truly, believe that the party of, George Wallace, Lester Maddox, Richard Bird, Bull Connor, Albert Gore Sr... etc, those who stood in the school entrances, used axe handles and fire hoses against them, suddenly, after being forced to pass The Civil Rights Act, against their filibusters, magically became the champions of Black people? They used the passage of the act as a tool of control to keep themselves in power. For 56 years they have vowed to "fight" for the poor and other minorities, every four years until the election is over. 56 years later the promises still keep coming and the Black community in lawless neighborhoods are in worse shape than they were in 1964. Don't worry though...Joe Biden is prepared to fix everything, this time I really mean it, on Day One of his presidency.

I have seen and heard Leo Terrell several times recently and I am wondering if he has had a lobotomy. I have never heard him sound so reasonable. What has happened? He is not happy with Biden and says he definitely won't vote for him if he chooses Kamala Harris, because she panders. Both Biden and Harris pander, they're complete phonies. If the Dems are losing Leo they have big problems. Why is no one talking about this?

So much for a conversation about race issues. How can progress be made when people with different views cannot civilly and calmly present their views in a respectful, logical, fact-supported fashion, then calmly and respectfully listen to the other party? Too many have closed minds and are dug in about being helpless "victims."

I watched them battling it out last night on Hannity. West was determined not to let Terrell get in a single word edgewise. He actually started in with Hannity, when he was asked why the Democrats-after 50 years of running cities-couldn't improve black reading skills, graduation rates, single motherhood, etc. West started making lame excuses when Hannity switched over to Terrell. Then it went off the rails.

The Left shows it's TRUE colors then panics and doubles down when people tell them to cool it. Everyone agreed from the getgo that the officer's actions were wrong, possibly murderous. We all agreed he should be investigated and brought to justice. What part of that signifies a riot? If we follow this example, the 'mean, intolerant Right' should have hauled every member of Obama's Administration out of their positions and done something that lucianne would probably ban me for if I printed it. We. Didn't. But if you Antifa and BLM keep doing this, we will finish you, even if it's a thankless job protecting the poor people you've begged and made homeless.

"Floyd died as a result." Maybe. Floyd was high on a drug cocktail that can cause sudden death from a heart attack. It can also cause violent behavior. The incident definitely needs to be investigated and it is possible the police acted badly and contributed to Floyd's death. As to the match up, the Left's only weapon now is out of control anger. They shout opponents down, intimidating them into silence. That is why we need people like Trump who refuse to be intimidated.

Old Cornell West made himself look like he belonged in a looney bin. There is no sense having a discussion between two people if one person won’t let the other party speak uninterrupted. The talking heads need to have a cut off switch handy so when one of their guests impolitely talks over another guest that the offender’s microphone volume can be cut off.

I've seen Leo Terrell a couple of times recently on Hannity and see that he is getting soft in his old age. Before when I saw him I hit mute or changed the channel. I didn't see last night, not sorry. An aside: These talkers need to give their callers or their guests some time to say what they called in or came to the show for. Was listening to Bill Cunningham Sunday evening and he was doing the same thing. Talking about Hannity and Laura Ingraham too. I don't know why people bother to call. They're not going to be able to talk. And love it when Hannity cuts off the guest, says 'I'm up against a hard break' then talks for another 8-10 minutes. I just don't know why I stay on that channel.

I absolutely LOVE Cornell West. Born in 1953, he grew up in the 50's and 60's in America. His dad was a general contractor and his mother was a teacher and principal. He got his Bachelor's degree from Harvard, and a PhD from Princeton. You can mutter "affirmative action" all you want, but neither of those schools just passes out those degrees to lazy bums. He worked darned hard to get those degrees. The reason I love Cornell West is that he is the walking, talking, living, breathing refutation of every lie he tells about America. There is no systemic racism in America. It's a fairy tale. A myth. A lie made up by Stokely Carmichael. So, if Cornell West could do it, why can't YOU? Of course the answer is: you can. Work hard enough and ANYONE can in America. Race is just an excuse some people use for their own personal failures.

Exposing leftist radicals on the air is helpful to people who never have the opportunity to see the idiot side of their "brilliance," they just hear about the milk and honey world they describe if only whitey would give them everything they need in life. Hannity can aggravate the sanest of people, I could not imagine how he upsets the minds of the terminally unstable. When Harvard and Princeton accept people like Pocahontas, David Hogg and Michelle Obama you can not tell me that they have any credibility left. Lizzy was accepted solely on her false Indian credentials, Hogg on his stupid tirades against "assault" rifles and Mooch, just because... Her senior thesis on what else, racism, is eighth-grade level at best.

The NFL recently announced several proposals to increase diversity. A few years ago, the NFL demonstrated its commitment to pleasing leftists by donating $100 million towards "social justice" causes. But the Left is insatiable. Shelling out truckloads of cash to grievance groups attracts more predatory behavior than Bill Clinton and Joe Biden at a high school cheer competition. There's an abundance of white people naive enough to believe appeasing Democrats will bring about a ceasefire -- but it never does. Cowardly compliance creates new targets for future shakedowns.

Conservatism centers on the belief that some ideas are timeless. The notion that even one of these ideas was merely “pertinent to its era” is the opposite of conservatism.
