Why is this case the one inciting mass protests? Ninety-nine percent of the country is denouncing the Minneapolis police in the most damnable terms possible over the death of George Floyd. The 99% are demanding that the 1% “hear their voices”?
The arrest certainly looks awful. Everything is going along relatively peacefully as Floyd is walked to a police van, then there’s some commotion out of sight of the camera — and suddenly you see Floyd pinned to the ground, an officer’s knee on his neck. How did that happen? One reason some of us are waiting for all the facts is that we suspect the media

Coulter finally writes something readable, and she is 100% correct. I have wondered why we have not been shown all the video, including what happened leading up to the knee on the neck. We have people on the right and left already hanging these policemen, without ever bothering to collect, or review all the evidence. Fentanyl alone is very deadly, and was found in his system, along with another cocktail of amphetamines. That is mixture that would kill anybody. Then, we are told Floyd had heart disease, and tested positive for Covid-19. Floyd was a walking dead man. The police were very aware of Covid-19 and probably not eager to be in front of Floyd's mouth, or even touching him, for their own safety. I think I will wait for all the evidence before forming any judgement, rioting, looting, or burning down the CVS. Jumping to conclusions is the very definition of prejudice and bias. Republicans and Democrats should look those terms up, and read them. While at it, please read the constitutional protections of a trial, before reaching conclusions.

I have been asking for more information and people to not jump to conclusions for a week. FINALLY, people are getting more reasonable, and supporting waiting for the rest of the facts, and MOST IMPORTANTLY for the trial.
Ben Crump will put up his lies, and the officers will have lawyers telling their side of the story, and explaining what the autopsy tells us. We need to keep an open mind until then. IMO, it is looking much less like the officers caused Floyd's death, more likely that the Wuhan flu, his drug abuse, his damaged heart and high blood pressure all came together with a big load of adrenaline. Let's see whose medical experts will have the more compelling facts when this is played out in court.

If you watch the longer tape and narrative put together by the NY Times, Floyd started claiming that he couldn't breathe long before he ended up on the ground. He was cuffed, and upright, nobody was doing anything to impede his breathing, and they wanted him to get into the police car. At that point, he started complaining that he couldn't breathe. But he was obviously getting enough oxygen to begin scuffling with the officers, resisting getting into the car. He apparently continued fighting after they got him into the car, and that was why they pulled him out the other side, put him on the ground and restrained him. Also, before he got in the car, he complained that he couldn't do it because he had claustrophobia. But they had just gotten him out of another car where, incidentally, he was behind the wheel thought obviously impaired. My guess is, after all this, the cops simplly didn't believe him when he claimed to be in distress. Who could blame them? Also, my son is a deputy sheriff. He has been trained to, and has used the neck on the knee maneuver. He said you don't use that much pressure, just enough to keep the suspect from lifting his head and spitting on you. We have no clue how much pressure Chauvin was using. And, if he was trying to prevent spitting, he was absolutely justified. Floyd was Covid 19 positive.

Ann mind be a broken clock these days. Right twice in 24 hours. But she's right on this.
With the drugs in his system, his record, all the things mentioned by poster #7, the jury is going to have reasonable doubt.
And this time we have antifa.
If the police were able to indentify, arrest and charge, and convict those guilty of rioting and looting and general insurrection, we might have a chance. But that isn't happening in St. Louis, NYC or DC.

CNN had a video up on it’s website right after the incident happened which showed the four police officers trying to get Floyd into the back of the car. He was obviously fighting them and the car was rocking. There were two officers on each side of the car and they kept having to climb halfway inside in an attempt to secure him. Fentanyl and meth at work?
But I haven’t seen any video of what happened after that until we see Floyd on the ground, but he obviously must have fought his way out of the car. I’m sure that CNN has removed the video and we will never see what happened after that, unless it’s on one of the officer’s chest cameras and comes out in court.
