Was she a mask Nazi, or a masked Nazi? She was both. Here’s the story.
I was hiking alone in the Colorado Rockies. I encountered a woman rounding a bend in the trail who muttered something to me as we passed one another. I said, “Excuse me?”
She unloaded on me with a tirade of unprintable curses and uncompromising demands that I wear a mask, like hers. So worked up was she that the microdroplets expectorated straight through her mask at approximately 3,400 mph.

Did she have 'CNN' written on her forehead?

Why isn’t Coexist written on the mask?
I wear one so as to not scare people (there’s a double purpose there).

The people who are dedicated fans of mask-wearing and think that you should be too are those who know the least about infectious viruses and medical protection in general. The best way to handle a challenge when you are accused of being a bare- faced neanderthal is to ask them technical medical questions about why they wear one and what the mask is doing for them? Yes, they will become angry and frustrated but you will go away smiling at your exposure of another sheep-like dunce.

Speaking of useless things, our town is providing plexiglas shields for cash register stands to deserving small businesses so they can open.
What is this shield supposed to do? Do they think the virus is like the LSTs on D-Day? Jumping off their mother ship (the customer) and heading in a straight line to their assigned target (the clerk)?
Can you say "placebo"?

One of the commentors under the article had a great suggestion: all masks should have MAGA printed on them. That will end the left's love affair with them and put the kibosh on this type of virtue signaling.

That woman was obviously mental! No way a rational person would behave in that manner, no matter what politics she or he would be. I think masks makes people more bold than they would normally be under different circumstances. Why do you think Antifa thugs wore masks other than for hiding from being recognized?

We are being over-run by Karens. It makes one wonder if the whole purpose of their day is to go out and find someone to bully into their way of thinking.

I was shooting trap this week, and one of the guys in my group came to the range wearing a mask. I told him his facemask wouldn’t do any good; he said it might stop some virus from getting through. I explained how porous the fabric mask was, and how small the virus is, and explained it was akin to putting a chain-link fence around his house to keep the mosquitoes out. He said “well, it makes me feel better”. I told him that he was doing something completely ineffective because it made him feel good, so he must be a liberal.
He ttok the mask off a couple of minutes later, and never put it back on....

There are a lot of fairly tall cliffs along many trails in the Rockies. He should have ended her misery by pushing her off one of them.

I'm slowly but surely wearing a mask less and less. We have to get back to normal, and not the 'new normal' where people think they have the right to step all over my individual rights.

I haven’t been accosted by one of these busybodies but I have my response ready if it should happen... As you pro-abortionists like to say, “My body. My choice”.
If they come back and tell me that I’m endangering others I will point out that abortion more than endangers others; in fact, it kills them.

Antifa wannabe's. Wear a mask and be anonymous, so they can have the courage to be jerks. A mask won't stop a knuckle sandwich, which is what these idiots deserve. They are nothing but bullies!

If required by state, county, city or business vendor, I comply with wearing a mask (any kind will meet my needs to have access to what I need/want to do}..
But, on the other hand if I want to reduce exposure to MYSELF, I will wear an N-95 or N 99 mask. Early on when the virus was more of an unknown, I read up on N-95 and N 99 filtration efficiencies and specifications (microns, particle penetration measurements, etc) and COVID 19 particle sizes (colloid, aerosols, and its individual virus size (average diameter) distributions}). For ME (and my fam), wearing an N 99 or N 95 reduces (not eliminates) possible exposure from someone else.Last time I read on it it was my WAG assessment that the N 99 and N 95 filtering mask (really called a respirator) was somewhere between 70 to 90-ish effective.
Outside (streets, parks, beaches, etc) we walk and recreate without a mask. If I go into an environment that is the least bit questionable (near-do-wells, homeless, unknowns), I wear my N-999s or N 95s for MY protects, not theirs.
