Anyone who still uses the word “retard” should be shamed off the public stage. “Retarded” is a word I will still use when describing my profoundly disabled 46 year old daughter. That’s ok. But people who use this term simply to demean and mock the disabled are the same as those who use the “N” word. Just stop it!!

Anne needs to flip that telescope around and and start looking through the eyepiece.
If President Trump does not beat back the deep state, all the walls on Earth won't save our country. Defeating the Deep State is is a precursor even to immigration. Failure to do so will mean permanent corruption of the election process and perpetual dem rule yielding to communism.

Folks... come down - Alabama is not, I repeat not... going to vote for Sessions!!! We are ashamed of his "stent" as AG and Coach Tuberville is going to win the primary down here! We are going to retire Sessions, especially after his childish & ungodly rant against our beloved President last weekend - Sessions buried himself "cussing" at our President. Republicans in Alabama are loyal to the President and will follow his endorsement and elect Coach Tuberville in the primary and especially in the general election - Doug Jones is the most "dead man walking" political candidate in all of government!

I'm convinced that Coulter's support for Trump in 2020 was just a joke intended to get some attention and a rise out of DemocRats and Establishment Republicans, but never seriously believing he would actually defeat Hitlary Rotten Criminal. When he did, it became her mission to tear him down. It's a shame. I'd always considered Coulter one of the Good Guys. Turns out she's she another opportunistic, self-promoting Establishment tool.

I think Sessions never should have recused himself. Simply stated, there was no conflict of interest, though I don't think he expected Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special investigator. That said, Sessions was and is a conservative who was loyal despite the intense heat Trump put on him to resign. If Sessions wins, he will have no further reason to be a personal loyalist going forward and Trump will need his vote in the Senate. He has already lost Romney's vote on critical issues. Given the thin Republican majority, it would be devastating to lose another Republican vote. Ann Coulter's comments were excessive and undignified, ironically not unlike the person she criticized.

Ann, unless you know the reasoning behind Trump's antagonism, I'd be very careful in what you say. To me, Sessions was a disappointment. But I dont claim to know why he did what he did, or whether there are other issues.
All I know is that Trump's first four years were largely wasted by Deep State maneuvers, and they are already signaling they're planning more of the same. What I have seen Trump accomplish, I am VERY satisfied with.
And I honestly dont like the man. I find him personally annoying. I dont want to support Trump, but I want to support someone who gets thing done and fights back against the Swamp and the media.
So I support Trump, which has been a LOT better than choosing the 'lesser' evil offered up by the Swamp.

Ann has never acknowledged that Trump was fighting the Democrats, the MSM and the Ryan Republicans who, in their ignorance of economics, convinced themselves that open borders and unchecked numbers of uneducated workers will bail out Social Security and retire the national debt. Trump can't spend money that isn't appropriated by Congress, and even though Republicans controlled the House for two years, Paul Ryan did everything he could to undermine Trump. Dems act in lockstep because they covet power more than anything else. Republicans haven't figured that out and probably never will. They're too busy patting themselves on the back for being "principled" while getting their clocks cleaned.

Pardon the second post, but if Ann thinks that Trump is disloyal to Sessions, let's talk about Sessions recusing himself without even the courtesy of a call to Trump beforehand, and then when it was obvious that Trump was displeased, hung onto the job for two years, preventing someone without a "conflict" who could have shut down the Rosenstein/Mueller/Wiessman sedition show. Loyalty is a two-way street.

IMO the trouble with Sessions was that once he left his safe Alabama sinecure to become AG he found himself in over his head in the world of hardball partisan politics directed at him. He folded, bringing great harm to President Trump and is too weak or deluded to admit it. Hope that football coach cleans his clock.

Sessions should have either not recused himself, or else warned the president he would have to once he took office. Since those things didn't happen, he should have immediately resigned once he learned how displeased the president was with his decision. The way I see it, Sessions was the disloyal person, and the president was extremely patient not to ask for his resignation for as long as he did.

Thank you #11. Every conservative Alabama person I know is not falling for the usual “better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.” Its interesting that the one who primaries a GOP Senate incumbent has to pass a level of scrutiny the incumbent does not. The NRSC does all they can to keep non-boat shaking establishment club members in there for life.
Sessions does not fight or speak out against the evil that is the Deep State. There are plenty of Bible scriptures about failing to speak up against evil. There is nothing honorable about it at all. Trump was letting Alabama voters know who Sessions is from the “inside” personal experience we do not have. It may not be genteel but neither was all the damage Sessions did. We talk about wanting the swamp drained. Americans are counting on Alabama to stand up to the old boys Senate GOP establishment and vote Tuberville.

Trump has his doubts about Sessions. It would be interesting to hear Trump go into detail regarding Sessions. Trump's doubts were bad enough that he endorsed his rival. He wouldn't have said what he said or did what he did if he had no reason.
When the Democrats demanded Sessions recuse himself, he had to know they weren't conducting themselves in good faith. He should have turned them down. Instead he went along with the Democrats. Is Sessions anti-Trump? Hard to tell.
Coulter needs to recognize that Trump has problems with Sessions, but never will. Most of Washington want Trump gone. That includes Republicans. That attitude is being reflected by the media.
Trump has found out its really hard to find good help in Washington, and even worse to find honest reporters.

I'm not sure why Jeff Sessions thought it a good idea to run for his old seat. Just can't understand how he thought he would be able to get the approval of Trump, who had frequently and loudly cast blame on Sessions: the briefly former AG left Trump vulnerable to the scurrilous plotters and tormentors attempting to overthrow the President.
One plot after another failed. A weaker President would have signaled to our enemies around the world that we were vulnerable during the political intrigues of the Democrat/Left. It would have been so much better if Sessions and even the harridan Coulter had acknowledged these internal threats and learned to really get in the trenches and fight alongside President Trump. Alas, although Sessions was congratulatory of Trump when he started his campaign, it was a little late. Too afraid of being caught up in the maelstrom if he had spoken out against the Dem-Mueller cabal? He knew there was no "there, there" with the Russians, or Ukrainians, OR ANY OTHER entity. President Trump is PRO America. period.
#10 mentions hatred. This kind of hatred is like the pyromaniac's fire which the pyro yearns to get closer to and closer to until in his burning passionate lust for the flames, he stands on the pyre exulting in the consummation. He and she do not construct anything, don't heal anything, don't persuade anyone of the benefits of constantly vomiting up opposition, lighting the fires and turning everything into ashes again.
And, to boot, notice how writing style of one-time great writers (or at least good) deteriorates with the level of how much hatred is suffused through the texts?
Anyway, friendly fire is one thing; unfriendly fire from one-time friends is another thing, and it's damned ugly. I, for one, am sick of it.

I listen to her as a guest on the Mark Simone radio show on occasion, and not only is she cutesey Poo (hello Mark Simone, Goodbye Mark Simone etc.) but she has turned with rage on Trump, largely, it would appear, because he either has not or has not yet been able to do what she deems important. E.G. I understand the need for a wall and the need to curb illegal immigration as much as the next person, but I also understand, with a Democratic congress and some Republicans who LIKE "undocumenteds", that you can't just wave a wand and there it is. Sessions was beyond stupid to recuse, but for Sessions to not immediately resign the job that he would not do was unthinkable. To hunker down as AG but recuse himself from covering his boss’s back for 2 years and leave him exposed was treasonous. I have seen no hint of evidence to support it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Sessions was part of the plot.
And to now run for his old job and expect Trump to support him or be called ‘disloyal’ makes Sessions deserving of a one way trip to the New Jersey Pine Barrens at night

Once upon a time, pre Trump, most Republicans were pretty timid creatures always being outplayed by dems. Republican voters were frustrated about no one speaking up and losing all the time. Along came some pundits who were willing to yell. Conservatives got excited. These people weren't afraid to fight back. However, we were still losing all the time. The yellers were all talk, no action.
Then, Trump.
Trump doesn't yell but he does speak and tweet the truth. OK, maybe that's a start. Then he wins the election. That was a surprise. How did that happen? He outmaneuvered the dems by connecting with the American People. Wow! That hadn't happen in a while.
Then Trump started to govern. Yeah, the talking and tweeting continued and it sounded pretty good, especially when the media went into hysterics. That was entertaining. But amazingly, almost behind the scenes, things actually started to HAPPEN! ISIS on the run. Tax cuts. Stupid agreements dropped. New treaties beneficial to the US created. Jobs, including manufacturing jobs created. Historically low unemployment. Conservative judges, including two SCOTUS picks.
We were winning. Yugely. And the yellers but losers, we didn't need them so much anymore. So they tried yelling about Trump. But it's hard to yell against a clear winner. People begin to wonder why the yellers are yelling all the time?
The difference with Trump is, it's NOT A GAME. It's NOT ABOUT IMAGE. It's for real and about people's lives and about our Country. And Trump GETS that.

Agree with #9. Trump might be sorry he said this if Sessions actually wins.

Sessions was a judge before he was a US Senator. Judges will often readily oblige a litigant who demands their recusal. In this case, Sessions accepted the prodding of sinister low-lifes like Rosenstein, apparently too naive to realize their vicious intent. It's admirable that Sessions is honorable, but when you're in a knife fight, you need a warrior, not a boy scout, for an attorney.
Both Sessions and Coulter were one-note Sally's, fixated entirely on illegal immigration. That's a significant issue, but there's a lot more to Washington political infighting than the immigration issue. How much good could Sessions accomplish for immigration after being cut off at the knees by the sinister left?

# 57, keep in mind that PDT is a New Yorker. New Yorkers don't do the "Midwest Nice" thing. And suppose he were to do as some suggest - that is to say, go "dignified" as the word is conventionally understood. Would knocking off the tweets, taking every slander and libel on the chin and replying to (so-called) reporters' questions like an abashed schoolboy win him a single extra vote? Would the Jonah Goldbergs and Mitt Romneys of this world suddenly wake up in a newfound admiration for him?
Some folks seem to wish for some impossible hybrid: a principled fighter with the manner of A George W. Bush. Well, they ain't no such thang.

I always preferred Laura Ingraham over Ann Coulter, who often seemed to think persuading people wasn't any fun if they weren't also irritated and insulted in the process.
Still, I hope Political Correctness doesn't consume this place the way it consumed the Left.

She was quiet for so long, I had forgotten her. Menopausal or has a new book to hustle ? I don't know what this woman's claim to fame is, but one of the first things I heard her expert opinion on was how Jews needed to accept Christ before dying.Never listened to her ranting again.

Coulter can only wish that she had the level of intelligence of Donald Trump. Since the 2016 election she has become more of an entertainer than a serious writer. Problem is she is not all that entertaining.
