After nearly two years of ambitious people announcing they want to be president, campaigning and then giving up, Americans are usually ready by this point in an election cycle for a change of pace. But this leap year with the country convulsed by the coronavirus and its economic reverberations, politics is actually the change of pace. [Snip] So, where do we stand in the 59th election of a commander in chief?

If you have to ask the question the headline poses, you haven't been paying attention.

Times are tough, yes; and that would normally be enough to sink an incumbent president. But Donald Trump is not your average politician and he has successfully, and rightly, put the blame for this economy squarely in China's lap and people....normal people....understand this. If you don't mind our interests being sold out to China, feel free to vote for Creepy Sleepy. I, myself, will not be doing so.

I just can't imagine the creepy pervert being commander in chief of the military. They had to suffer through 8 years of Zero, and are just now recovering from his depredations.

The narcissist left the White House in January of 2017. I don't recall referring to himself as "I, I, I" a hundred or more times like Obozo in a single speech

One of the funny things they used against Trump was that he stayed out of the military because he had flat feet.
Biden stayed out with 5 school deferments and asthma as a child.

Julius Caesar or Caligula. Make that Caligula's horse (he was a senator too).... the rear portion thereof.

i support DJT - with all of his flaws, he is still the superior candidate.
Old Jo biden will be replaced, my liberal friends tell me, but they don't want Bernie. and it will be next to impossible tohold as virtual convention, as the dimocrats are choosing to do, without a huge outcry by Bernie's supporters.
Bernie and his supporters could hold a second, But in the virtual convention, if Biden makes a live presentation, that will be the final nail in his coffin,
In 1860, the dimocrats held two separate conventions. It could happen again.

Who's the narcisist, a president who lives up to his promises or an opinion writer who has to post his own columns to get noticed?

Author state that PT's insults aren't funny. Many are hilarious. Don't know what motivates average voter. If they want to punish someone for the current state of affairs, I blame the dims for wasting time on impeaching and other nonsense. What would interest me is who do you trust to fix our current problem: PT who is an economic genius or Quid Pro Joe who couldn't solve: "If x=5, solve for x."

The author doesn't know what narcissism is, either. A true narcissist CANNOT TOLERATE not having control of the narrative, and that narrative is ALWAYS designed by him and propagated by his supply. In Obama’s case it was the media and various groups who began the narrative that implied one was a traitor and hater if that person or persons criticized anything Obama did.
Do you see Trump doing that???? No.
A narcissist will ALWAYS lose his cool when he cannot control the narrative. Trump has no control over what is said about him and he doesn’t try. He just gives back what he is given.
So author, I suggest you learn what a narcissist is really like. It ain’t Trump. It MIGHT be you.
