Offer states vote-by-mail or else says Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN). That was the message from the Minnesota Democrat during an appearance on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show on Sunday. According to Klobuchar, making funds available was necessary given the threat of COVID-19, and therefore funding must be included in future coronavirus legislation. “We’ve got to get this done in this next package to get funding to the states so that you don’t have that situation where people in garbage bags and homemade masks are standing in line in the rain like we saw in Wisconsin while the President of the United States could simply request a mail-in ballot from Palm Beach, Florida,

So, she doesn't think people should be in line with homemade masks, yet, Dr. Fauci and others have stated if we all wear a mask, your chance of contracting COVID is about 1.5%. And, if it's good enough for going to the grocery store, and other places, then it should be fine for voting. They need the mail-in voting to then allow for ballot harvesting (people you don't know collecting your ballot whether you know it or not). Interestingly, ballot harvesting could also lead to many people who possibly voted the opposite way of the person collecting ballots, to simply throw those out, or "lose" them. I would not doubt there is some bar code on the ballot envelope that also indicates which party you're affiliated with, which also lends to the potential for not counting certain ballots.

I am ALL for this, with one provision. If someone commits voter fraud using a mail in ballot, instant death penalty. If it is really so important, then make it worthy of the extra privilege. Just imagine how many vermin would be eliminated from the gene pool. If this idea is too extreme for the uniparty, and the uniparty forces this down our throat, at least make the front of the ballot say in headline sized font that the conviction for voting fraud is 20 years in a Federal prison out of state. When they whine it will be obvious that they intend to cheat. Of course none of it means anything if no one ever goes to jail for ballot stuffing.

Elections are ran by localities, not by the Federal government, so i don't see how Federal funding would be legal, or warranted. The constraints of consulting with taxpayers has been removed, and now the Federal government prints the money, all without the inconvenience and time of getting Congressional or taxpayer approval--that is unconstitutional as well.

Word broke nationally Tuesday that former Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan had suppressed evidence that Vladimir Putin was more interested in a Hillary Clinton win in 2016 than a Donald Trump win. My colleague Nick Arama covered the rumblings of that story in late April. Brennan, in fact, seems to the be the big fish under U.S. Attorney John Durham’s microscope, but not just because of the latest news about suppressing Putin’s preferences. Sidney Powell, the formidable attorney responsible for helping Ret. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn successfully battle the drummed-up charges against him, has very specifically said Brennan has his fingerprints all over the smearing of her client

I mean “must see” from the standpoint of pointing and laughing, not that you should actually waste your time watching CNN. The network is hosting an “expert” panel on the coronavirus pandemic in a town hall format on Thursday. Who’s on the panel? Well, you’ll be less than shocked to learn two of the three people appearing are failed, former Obama officials who presided over disastrous aspects of Obamacare. You may be more surprised, though, that CNN lacks enough shame for the third participant to be none other than Greta Thunberg, the teen climate activist from Sweden. Yes, this is real life.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate caucus took House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s $3 trillion extravaganza of waste and delusion and declared the package “dead on arrival.” In truth, it was dead before it was born. Donald Trump doesn’t want another massive bailout bill and Mitch McConnell isn’t keen on the idea either. So, with an eye on November — and as a sop to their rabid, radical constituencies — House Democrats loaded up a “stimulus” bill with every left-wing fantasy, desire, wet dream, and “transformation” of the U.S. they could muster and threw it against a wall to see what would stick. Florida must clean its voter rolls 9 replies

Florida has long been an attractive destination for the elderly. Retirees and “snowbirds” who flock to the state comprise an important component of Florida’s economy, but a perhaps morbid corollary is that Florida is well-experienced in dealing with the deaths of its residents. It is therefore imperative that Florida have robust administrative processes for dealing with the ultimate event in the human life cycle. The state needs to efficiently cancel driver’s licenses and social welfare entitlements when residents pass away. Similarly, there needs to be an efficient mechanism to remove the deceased from the state’s voter registration rolls. Perhaps Ponce de Leon was right.
