How does Nancy Pelosi get away with it? How does the speaker of the House, in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic crisis, delay desperately needed aid to small businesses and, in the process, escape blame in a highly politicized environment? Pelosi didn't stand in the way of aid for just an hour or two, or a day or two. She stonewalled for two weeks while small-business people across the country struggled to stay afloat in a time in which public fear of the coronavirus and government stay-at-home orders reduced their business incomes to zero. On March 27, President Trump signed into law an act

The article is really not very informative. I want to know why one woman can hold up the entire process at a time of national emergency. This is not right and for all intents and purposes gives Nancy Antoinette power to do harm to our small businesses out of nothing but pure pique and pettiness. Is there no provision during a time of emergency that would compel the Speaker of the House to continue to work to solve the nation’s problems at such a critical time? This really is unconscionable. Clearly, the media will not confront her which means we the people have little recourse when she is stubbornly refusing to do her job. Her indifference and arrogance are a disgrace.

Seems that Pelosi has the most power in this government. One person should never be able to hold a nation hostage as she continually does. Everyone is afraid of going against her which can only mean she has conducted tons of oppo research on her members of Congress.

I blame the media for Pelosi's arrogance and intransigence. She KNOWS there will be no penalty to pay because everyone in the media (except Tucker Carlson, Greg Gutfield and Jesse Watters) will ignore her treason. I'd love to see her frog-marched in an orange jumpsuit, but you know this old hag will smile that Chesire Cat grin all the way to her grave.

"How does Nancy Pelosi get away with ... ?" We will find out in November if she did. The voters put dems in charge of the House and Nasty Pelousy as Speaker was part of the package. Republicans have repeatedly pointed out that voting for dems brings in their whole messy leadership but voters went stupid in 2018. With so many "ice cream" moments with Nasty over the last 15+ months, maybe voters will wise up.

Media and a carefully, systematically created Left culture are to blame. This is not a happenstance. it has been deliberately planned for over two generations. Democrats benefit, Republicans don't. A 49 state landslide winner like Nixon has to leave in disgrace. A brazenly unrepentant Clinton just breezes along. It was never going work with Trump. That is the core cause of all the Sturm und Drang we are seeing on a daily basis.. It is going to get worse as his landslide reelection becomes painfully obvious to them.

Pelosi gets away with obstructing the President's Administration because the MSM lets her off the hook. The last 3 1/2 years have been nothing but an unceasing avalanche of lawsuits, lower-court injunctions, feet-dragging, lying, spying, breathtaking abuses of power, that only exist because the MSM is a willing participant in all of it. We do not elect the MSM-but they hold an inordinate amount of power of the population, and they have no accountability. They literally move from one lie to the next without reflecting that they were caught in a lie to begin with. The MSM is the ENEMY, the DNC is the ENEMY, the Swamp is the ENEMY.

There are two ways to change this unfathomable situation. 1) The first time the H of R is in GOP hands, change the rules so that the Speaker of the House does not wield so much power and/or 2) The first time that both houses of Congress are majority GOP, enact term limits for ALL - 8 years for representatives

The reason that She can hold up the entire process is that the rest of Democrats back her up. This has allowed them to ram through their pork and radical agenda as the price to get anything done. This is what happens if Democrats are in control. Remember this come November.

I agree that the whole lot of the democrats are to blame. They are just a bunch of bobbleheads that do whatever Pelosi wants because they are afraid! No courage to do what's right! They went into politics to serve themselves, not the people that elected them! We know that the media is full of losers. It doesn't take much to belong to that gaggle, but you would think that there would be SOME democrats who care enough about their country and their fellow man to do their job- which IS NOT to support a deranged person who is harming America!

They have the votes (thank you Paul Ryan) and can do as they please. Republicans on the other hand abandon party cross the aisle fight among themselves back stab don't support the party's President and never push back on democrats. President Trump displays how we should be acting with democrats, shame them and call them names when the toss an insult and we win we should stomp them in the ground with victory dances every time. I watch the President's Task Force Press Conferences every night on Breitbart, and the best thing is you can watch it again later; not like having to sit down anymore to just watch the news at six. At the beginning of the presser the President told us there are plans soon to have the country enjoy air shows with the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds. It would be such a wonderful treat for everyone, especially the children, during this stressful time. Obviously, the President is trying to lift up our spirits and hopes, while Nancy Pelosi does everything she can to checkmate the President's efforts to do so. I waited for some reporter to ask one question about the services' air shows because I never saw either one in my whole life, and I did not know how it worked. When and where does it happen? Will they have a video you could buy afterwards with a narrative and some good music? But, not one question from one reporter. The media do not work for the people; they work for politicians like Pelosi; otherwise one of them would have the same questions I did and would want to have the audience informed. That is why so many of us do not even think about watching their news' programs anymore. Why watch people who are so indifferent to our own concerns. N.B. Just finished listening to Glenn Beck's radio show, and at noon, Fox News reported that an article in the Washington Post today reported about the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds air shows that President Trump spoke about. Pity that no reporter had the initiative to ask one question about it yesterday. ( Hasn't been the Mainstream Media for a long time now.)

Media cover for Pelosi and Black Face Klan Hoodie Ralph Northam, allows their disgusting behavior to continue. But as others have said, if Republicans fought back, they would diminish their power substantially. If Republicans had ba-ls Northam would be gone and Pelosi wouldn't be cavorting with her Sub Zeroes. Kevin McCarthy, who auditions for Speaker every chance he gets, should have had every Republican congressman back in DC shouting to anyone who would listen, that they were on the job doing the People's business, while the Democrats were sitting on their butts, as America descended further in to this abyss. Why didn't McConnel take a vote with his Senate majority and pass and embarrass every Democrat that wouldn't vote on the simple 25 line funding legislation for small businesses? That bill languished for weeks as he "negotiated" with Nancy to add Democrats' pork. WHY? The ultimate legislation passed with unanimous consent, but who cares? He just gave these disgusting Democrats cover. It is maddening that Republicans continue to do this crap. If Republicans would fight like that little girl squad does, we might actually win the House back and keep the Senate. We are at war not only with this BS virus, but we are in a death struggle with the Democrats. Only Donald J. Trump understands. He really needs to tell the Republicans that the only way to save this country is for them to fight Democrats with the fervor of our blessed Navy Seals and Special Forces. Absent that, be prepared to live in a shutdown way of life for ever.

For the poster (and others) that have not seen a show: Both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds post their schedule on their websites - http://afthunderbirds.com/site/, https://www.blueangels.navy.mil/. Shows I liked best - Fleet Week in San Francisco back in the days when you could walk in San Francisco without looking only at where your feet were going (though you occasionally needed to glance up looking for muggers and polar bear hunters). And the Thunderbird's Armistice day (Veterans Day) show at Nellis (I parked us in the desert off the east end of the runway where you could see the pilots faces as they "thundered" overhead). But anywhere is great (except for snowflakes who collapse in a pile of mush and wet themselves when they hear the terrifying roar of the warbirds overhead).

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Teachers unions have been instrumental in keeping American schools online during the pandemic. But some have escalated their positions on reopening to include an array of social justice demands. A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
