Most VP picks are cosmetic,

At this stage of a normal presidential election year, idle media speculation tends to focus on who will be the candidates’ running mates, the vice presidential candidates vying to be sent to so many foreign funerals. In recent times, it hasn’t really mattered much beyond political cosmetics. But the secrecy surrounding the selection process — sometimes lasting almost until the summer convention — attracts media like flies on roadkill. [Snip] Biden’s occasional confusion and frequent nonsensical syntax have prompted questions about his mental state, even among Democrats. But, hey, they overwhelmingly selected him as their chosen champion to oust the despised usurper of 2016. So, he must be

No need to ruminate over this-- whomever Bite Me picks will be President should he win. With great fanfare he pledged to pick a female as a running mate. There is a big push from the media to pick a non-white person, and the only two who fit that bill are The Oprah and the Wookie who is a backdoor coat tail to "The One" (who many consider the finest person to ever walk the face of the Earth and who bow down to him). Neither one has any political pedigree but both are highly political. Before the Corona Virus took over everyone's attention, the demographics of the Trump rallies would suggest that it will take "star power" to defeat him for re-election. Time will tell, but the informative daily briefings have brought CBS "reporters" into the "get Trump" circle along with CNN and MSLSD

The pundits still think it is up to Biden, and that is hilarious. Biden is the front man for a bait and switch scheme being run by the DNC. Of course it matters who gets the pick, for that is the real Presidential candidate. We all know Biden isn't going to win, but that won't stop the DNC from trying every thing they can throw at us. That is why it is so important to stand up against the vote by mail nonsense. If anyone thinks that is harmless, just check states that have that system already to find out when the last time they had a republican governor or legislature?

You know they are poll testing like mad and nobody with 2024 aspirations is going to soil themselves in 2020. As much as I'd remain wary of Michelle I think 2024 is more likely. I hope that the Obama's are comfortable with the celebrity status and life they attained and aren't all that motivated. As much as I believe he was playing for the other side I still think he was more of a sock puppet giving me hope that they have had enough.

Copying the Clinton Plan. Choose Michelle as VP. Win Presidency and on day one Joe drops dead, or has an accident, or some how dies in a very questionable way. Michelle becomes President. The Obama's get their wish to finish the job of destroying the USA. This will be the end of the USA as we know it. .........Mick

No matter who the sucker might be Joe Biden is the presidential candidate and has to debate with President Trump. After the President wipes the floor with the idiot (even though Joe has the questions and answers) the pick for VP will have a 'slap their forehead moment' and say, "I can't believe he said that". Biden during one of his debates will forget who the VP pick is and call them by another name it's going to be disastrous for his pick no matter what the DNC plans are.

Clearly in the unlikely event that Joseph Biden is elected President in-spite of his obvious declining cognitive abilities, common sense will tell you that Biden will never be able to carry out with any level of competence the executive position of US President, and will instead be a figurehead for whoever Barack Obama selects to be Biden’s Vice-President. That is until Biden resigns (unexpectedly) because of his declining health. In that respect, some media reports are speculating that Biden’s Vice-President would be Michelle Obama, with Barack Obama obviously being her chief covert informal “advisor” and that way, the Obamas would be able to evade the presidential term limits provisions of the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution and get back in the White House to finish Biden’s term, with Michelle Obama being the incumbent President being eligible to run for re-election in 2024. The leftist and liberal Democrats are tricky, so will have to wait and see what happens!

So, that leaves Michelle out, if the pick is cosmetic. Her anger can't be erased by make up. Her narcissistic personality can't be covered by the camera. Her expensive/lavish lifestyle can't be hidden by beautiful clothes. She's an elite--at least in her own mind. All of her arrogance shows when she speaks. She's not lovely on the outside or in. Hence, not a cosmetic asset for Sleepy Joe. Now, aside from no experience, except for acting as a clothes hanger for ambitious designers and knowing how to pick the most expensive ways to live, Michelle is another empty evening gown. She'll come off looking like a darker version on Hillary in a debate--void of intelligence or gravitas. The gentle demeanor but sharp character of Mike Pence will destroy her. But, it would only come to that once. And if she took Sleepy Joe's place in a debate, Trump would eviscerate her. In the long run, I don't believe Michelle will happen. She's not going to come out of her multi-million dollar retirement--like Pelosi, she'd rather eat ice cream. KAG!!! A Michelle/Biden ticket is a liberal's dream--but America's greatest nightmare!

So if Biden gets the nomination (I'm sure the party bosses are trying to figure out how to keep that from happening), but decides or is forced to drop out of the race before November (corona or dementia, your pick), does the veep candidate get to take top of the ticket? Or would the party bosses get to draft a replacement? That has never happened before. I wonder if there are rules, laws, rulings that would govern what would happen. And yes I know rules or laws don't apply to leftists, they get some judge somewhere to allow them to do essentially what they want to do, but I'm curious.

Until BiteMe has enough delegates for a first-ballot nomination - and maybe not even then - it's premature to expect him to be the candidate. The Rat Party has screwed Bernie twice running; they won't think twice about screwing Same-Old Joe too. You don't think it's coincidence the networks have been giving Andrew Cuomo free airtime every night, do you? Whatever Andy's protestations about not running, this is a trial balloon, at least. When the ticket is chosen, not only will Joe be excluded from the process, he won't even know who those people are.

You may not see much news coverage on the world’s 100,000 airplane flights that land safely every day. Let one of them crash, however, and you’ll see smoldering wreckage and sobbing relatives for 24 hours. It’s the same in news coverage of U.S. politics. American elections, especially presidential ones, are specifically designed to create deep divisions across society, camps labeled Us and Them. You may have noticed this in the tumultuous 2016 upset shockwave that has endured ever since. In this cycle, the election featured two dozen Democrats and a lone Republican who out-talked and out-tweeted them all. In terms of the work put into campaigning, this cycle has been no contest. The 74-year-old Donald Trump has campaigned basically nonstop since the convention in late August. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
