it’s time to turn off the ventilator

China has long dreamed of being the dominant power on the planet. Until recently, it seemed well on the way to succeeding, with the stamp “Made in China” appearing on nearly a third of the world’s manufactured goods. What a difference a pandemic makes. On Friday, Chinese officials said their country’s economy shrank by 6.8 percent from January to March 2020, compared with one year ago. The “China Dream” of dictator Xi Jinping is now on life support, in grave danger of succumbing to the same novel coronavirus that he and his fellow communists have unleashed upon the world.

Not a very smart business plan to make your customers sick, cause them to lose their jobs, and bring their industries home.

Liberal companies like Apple and Nike will stay in China but hopefully PDJT will realize that to jump start the economy once more many now "Made in China" products will have to be made here. That means more factories, more jobs. perhaps higher prices but at this point I think Americans are much more willing to pay more for the good old "Made in USA" label. This is a huge opportunity for Trump and I hope he can make the most of it. Out of curiosity, does anyone know where Pelousi's $24,000 refrigerator was made?

If it's proven that the Chinese government created this flu and allowed it outside of the country, intentionally or unintentionally, I think President Trump should tell the Chinese Government that we consider our debt to them paid in full as compensation for the damage they did to our economy. There has never been a President with the cajones to do such a thing...until now. MADF Make America Debt Free!

Just bought new Samsung hard drive for my computer because it was made in Korea. We are looking for Made in China tags so that we can avoid that product and purchase a similar one made anywhere else. USA made is our preference but it is not always an option.

Well China conquered Wal Mart. Try finding anything there that doesn't have Made in China on it.

#6. True about Walmart but there are a lot of inexpensive clothes and shoes made in India and Bangladesh at places like Walmart. We can't buy a lot made in the U.S. these days, but for the time being at least like #5 we can buy great stuff made in friendlier countries. Samsung from South Korea, Nokia from Finland, etc.

Time for Chairman Xi to be removed from office by others in the Communist regime? The sooner this happens the better it is for the whole world.

The Communist Chinese Government could not have done more damage in the USA to the American people and the US economy, if instead of covertly exporting “by mistake” the Chinese (Wuhan) novel corona virus into the USA, if they had instead fired a nuclear weapon “by mistake” that traveled to the USA and detonated in an American region.

The US needs to ramp up manufacturing of the products we need as a county. Relying on China for these items is insane.

It isn't just Wal Mart. Find a store that doesn't contain products made mostly in China. Big box. little box, Mom & Pop.... Any of them. You can't blame the stores, because they are just giving most people what they want, or can afford.
Bring manufacturing and other business back to the U.S. and competition will make prices competitive, unless run by unions.

China will have to sit and reminisce about the 'good old days' when a US President bowed to them then, hand fed them manufacturing and made loans. The deep droning and whistling voice of Obama will forever be in their ears.
The Chinese Dream for Xi Jinping is now a wet one. Let China make Nike shoes and Apple I-phones and hope President Trump closes the door on these items with high tariffs. Reduce the Chinese to making carnival trinkets like little bamboo monkey hand back scratchers, little plastic police whistles and water guns.
I will forever believe the Chinese had plans to engage the world especially the US with this virus next would be crippling the US with attacks crippling our electric grids and power sources from satellites. The Chinese had a plan since PDJ started his trade war with them.

It will shock you when you start picking up items and see so many as "Made in China" or "Product of China". It takes some work but I will no longer be an Apple customer if they continue in China. I know that companies can't just shut down massive plants overnight but I want to see a concerted and good faith plan to move their operation out of China.
