For the first time in the 2020 coronavirus crisis, President Trump has appeared to publicly put some major distance between himself and the Coronavirus Task Force’s principal medical advisor and spokesman, Anthony Fauci, M.D. (snip) Indications of President Trump’s mounting unhappiness with Fauci came in a tweet by the president yesterday at 6:51 PM EDT in which he retweeted a tweet by DeAnna Lorraine, a Republican who unsuccessfully challenged Rep. Nancy Pelosi in the California primary last month, that included the line “Time to #FireFauci:”

I hope so. Just read two articles on Gateway Pundit that Fauci was insinuating that Trump did not act soon enough to close the travel from China and that we may not be able to vote in November. This man is a maniac, quack and a political hank that should not be in the position that he is in at NIH. FIRE HIM!! Based on what I read, Pres. Trump closed foreign entry from China to the U.S. in January. Fauci now saying that you may not be able to vote in November tells me that this little man is pushing the mail in vote scam that the democrats want.

Fauci has more knowledge and experience than the rest of the task force combined. We (and) Trump need people who speak truth to power. The open rumor that Fauci has some conflict of interest are unfounded. Gate is running a vast charity with huge track record for donating to innovative healthcare initiatives.
Quit bashing these two -- they'll lead us through this mess and develop a vaccine etc faster than anyone else.

Firing Fauci would be stupid. Do we really want to see him on CNN every day? Hired by the DNC as a shill? In spite of his tweet, I don't think the president has any intention of firing him. The Tweet was directed against the New York Times. By the way, the primary goal of the New York Times, as expressed by the executive news editor after the Mueller report fell flat. is to do everything it can to get rid of Trump.

I really, really disagree with #4. There are a lot more qualified people than Fauci. Why doesn't Fauci have the same attitude he did with the Ebola outbreak? I can answer that question very easily. Do the research. . .

Fauci is a diseased swamp rat that needs to be humiliated in front of America and then fired. Fauci is a disgrace to the medical community. He's driving the US into ruination for the benefit of his DemocRAT swamp rats in the press and in Washington. Ask Fauci how the vaccine for AIDS is coming along and why didn't we shut down the country for that!!!

Funny how those who criticize the President's personal style as "chaotic" are just fine with the good doctor's oddball maneuvering. Funny, that.

When I was working as a psychiatric nurse, we could identify patients who engaged in "staff splitting." These were typically the ones with personality disorders that caused chaos. There is "staff splitting" going on here, and it is the personality disordered MSM who want division and chaos in this country.

With the passage of time, we are learning more and more about the details surrounding the health statistics and policies surrounding the slowing of the Corona Virus. Some have had it and recovered from it while others have lots of problems and still other succumb to it.
As with almost ANYTHING that involves Mr. Trump, there are those who would seek to play politics and attempt to "shame" or second guess what could or should have been done at any point in time. When one looks at the TRUE FACTS of what happened when, prudent action was taken. Very FEW of us have ever seen anything like this in our life times, so extreme caution has been the rule.
There is a great deal of controversy about how this all came about in the first place, and among the very first cases reported in Wuhan, they did not all come from the "wet market", and THAT is of major concern. Dr. Fouci has been around a long time and a lot of experience, but at some point, things MUST return back to as normal as possible, and his idea that those who have antibodies could go back to work, seems really crazy, but it is a possibility.

If we weren't prepared for this wouldn't it seem likely it was due to the guy who had been there for decades failing to prepare? Who would that be?

I'm hoping there is a lawsuit for a death (sorry... but surely this has happened) from Covid that occurred because the patient's doc refused to use HCQ after Faux-ci said its success was anecdotal and off label and not proven.
And Faux-ci is named in the suit

Fauci is nearly 80 and has been in the same job for 36 years! Clearly he's got an ego problem. Do you realize that he's prevented a whole generation's career advancement at his agency because of his ego? I saw it in my last job - a division director over 70, who would not retire. The last few years he was falling asleep at his desk during work hours. I caught him several times myself. Three branch chiefs (all quite good) under him left for better opportunities before he finally retired at 73.

Fauci is knowing or unknowingly auditioning to be the star witness for the newest impeach Trump reboot, Adam Schiff’s COVID-19 commission.

I find it too coincidental that the investigations of many deep staters, which will produce all sorts of confessions and plea bargaining, as well as the release of a lot of redacted and previously inavailable info, happened at roughly the same time as this terrible, but seemingly overestimated pandemic.
Ask yourself this. If these horrible traitors are about to be exposed, would they use ANYTHING they could to shift the focus? Would these money grubbing narcissists hesitate to take down the whole world with them if they saw they were going down?
Each individual needs to make their own decision, and without complete information, because that is most likely unavailable. I've made mine.

Dr Fauci has been around since Ronald Reagan and the AIDS Epidemic. His Modus Operandi has not changed, and was the driving force behind the "Right to Try" legislation.
The fear of lawsuits, and the drive to find the perfect solution through endless testing and modeling, has crippled Big Pharma, and our assorted Federal Health Agencies.
In cases like this, a bandage will do until a surgical procedure can be done. By all means go with Chloroquine and Z-Paks until something better is found.

Fauci needs reined in, but I think firing him outright would play into the RAT/media Axis' hands. Hopefully Trump is too shrewd for that. I'd rather think Trump has him on the rug and is making him explain why he's saying stuff like that to Trapper Jake.

At the next press conference I would love to see the Fox correspondent quote the following info and ask Fauci how he can say we should have acted sooner when he is the chief advisor on this Wuhon flu and yet downplayed its importance. FTA "For example, in a series of interviews during the last week of January, Fauci, as The Hill headlined its article on January 26, said the coronavirus “isn't something the American public need to worry about.” Five days later, President Trump famously decided, as CNN reported, “to ban foreign nationals who had been in China within the previous 14 days from entering the United States.” In Fauci's case the "we" should be changed to "I".

I am sick of Fauci and Birx. When there is something as large as closing down the America, I would think we would get second, third, and maybe more opinions. We have heard Fauci and Birx. I have gotten that. Let's hear from some others.

Fauci has finally made it to the BIG TIME!!! There is NO WAY he is going to take any blame for anything...not that any should be passed around! He will, however, stick a shive into our precious POTUS back every chance he gets to make Trump look bad and himself look good! I think he might even think that he could somehow replace Trump with some magical trick! I know he believes he is WAY smarter than Trump! Problem is...he isn't! And he is killing America with his lousy advise!

Fire this weasel. He hasn't been right about ANYTHING since this pandemic started. He has shown himself to be a career deep state bureaucrat with a love of self-promotion in the media, but with no competency for his job infectious disease control. Fire him.

Sure, fire Fauci...then get ready to explain why PDT trotted him out day after day as a renowned expert helping the President in his historic and fully-correct response to this pandemic...at the height of the crisis.
