Hydroxychloroquine and Z-Paks have are widely used by doctors the world over to treat the coronavirus.
Democrat lawmaker Karen Whitsett said she had to beg for hydroxychloroquine that saved her life because her tyrannical governor limiting access to the drug with an executive order!
Now the far left governor is banning travel between homes for Michigan residents!
So kids can no longer play at their friends’ house.

Way to go, Michigan. You voted for another Democrat. You brought this on yourselves. Have a nice day. Embrace the suck!

More and more these pronouncements, made by various governors, strike me as a test of the public's tolerance, to find the "limits" for the future. Here we have an "threat" whose dimensions are unknown, health effects projected by bad models using bogus data, which are turned into edicts by government. Anything can be used as a "public emergency", flying saucers seen over Lake Huron...why not? We know a good proportion of the dopes will dive back under their beds because the government says so.
This is how dictatorships historically take power...there's always an emergency decree...and then the fun begins. Odd, no law suits or demonstrations. The Sheeple are speaking with their obsequiousness.

All of it is true. In addition, she banned people from traveling to their cottages in other parts of the state. It's now illegal to travel to a property you own and pay taxes on. But don't worry, you can still buy medical marijuana, get an abortion and purchase a lottery tickets.

I have been shopping at Lowe's and Home Depot to support some spring home repairs. Leave our home stores alone.
Fortunately, Kansas recognizes that they are necessary to stay open.
Half Whitmer strikes again.

She does not have such authority but she'll get away with it if the stores don't object or refuse to comply.

To my knowledge, Home Depot and Lowe's Home are not charitable institutions. If they can only sell 20% or so of the store, then I doubt they can turn on the lights and open the doors and pay the workmen's comp without incurring a major a loss every day. The electric bill alone will dwarf whatever tiny profit can be made opening the doors under these conditions. Certainly they need a simple skeleton staff, so most of their workers are unemployed now. Certainly they should stop their supply chain from delivering more unsaleable merchandise. There is no law stating that big box companies have to take a politically dictated financial loss.
It seems advisable to me that it makes sense to simply close the store altogether. Put a big sign in the window advising disappointed customers to take this matter up with their political commissars and their fearless supreme leader when their houses and the properties they can no longer visit begin to crumble.
Folks, ya get what ya vote for...

She could have said: Stay home longer and continue to be safe. If you’ve quarantined for 3 weeks and are symptom free go visit your lake house. Buy groceries from the local small business grocery and liquor store. Fish from the dock. They have been waiting all season for your return but exercise social distancing. But she didn’t.
She could have said:Plant a garden! Michiganders get outside and work in your yard. Order supplies to be delivered from your local nursery and spend some money there. They are stocked and ready for you! But she didn’t.
She could have said:Take this time to work on a home project. Call your local hardware store and have them mix a gallon of paint. Pay over the phone, use social distance to pick it up. But she didn’t.
She could have said:Restaurant owners, reopen but at half capacity. You can only seat every other table and wait staff must wear masks. We want you to survive so let’s use common sense and appropriate social measures. But she didn’t.
She could have said:Landscapers who staved all winter for lack of snow - get to work! Book your jobs over the phone. Accept payment via cash apps. Work single crew jobs or small crews where you can keep your distance. Let’s work with local box box stores to have supplies delivered or waiting for you to pick up. We know you’re cash based and aid hasn’t come yet. Be safe but work! But she didn’t.
She could have said:Go back to your place of worship! Sit one family per pew, and use every other pew. Practice social distancing but go celebrate Passover and Easter. But she didn’t.
Walmart gonna Walmart. Costco gonna Costco. Target gonna Target, but our small business owners are drowning and she tossed them a cement block instead of a lifeline. When will people realize she doesn’t want to help us. She wants us so broke and so hungry and so desperate and so afraid that we turn in our own neighbors, we hide in fear, we stay glued to the fear mongering news, we deplete anything we have saved and when it’s all gone and we are desperate and broken and depressed we turn to the government to save us.She could have said and done a lot, but she didn’t. Do not ignore the message that woman from Michigan delivered last night, because where she stands and what she’s about was loud and clear.

People are buying home projects because if they don't keep busy, much worse stuff could happen in her state. Much worse by magnitudes of worse. Governor Jackboots needs to get a grip on her girdle and lighten up.
I seriously doubt that DNC will allow Biden to choose his VP this year. I have a feeling they have already picked Andrew Cuomo for the spot. Bait and switch opportunities don't come along that often for them, and they aren't going to waste it on a harpy like Governor Jackboots.

Au Contraire , #4. Real Michigan didn't vote for her. The three counties in and around Detroit/Ypsilanti, a couple counties around Lansing and one in Grand Rapids put her over and us on edge. In her address earlier this week which extended our home prison sentence, she made a point of lecturing the rest of us that it is our racism and bias that caused the virus to spread- not the wild animals in the aforementioned areas. She's going to make sure that our schools start to eradicate that evil bias in elementary schools statewide. She's about as pleasant as Yamiche Alcindor and almost as valuable .

If the plan is to tighten the screws from house arrest to near starvation...mustn't let people grow their own fruits and vegetables. Shut down the garden centers and nurseries. And if one grows enough, neighbors and friends can benefit. There might even be an income thereby. Can't have that!

This CV pandemic is a good opportunity for the residents of all 50 states to examine the possibilities of taking some powers away from their governor/legislators/health depts. No state govts should have the power to shut down their state economies. None of this was necessary. If people feel unsafe then wear a mask and gloves during flu season. Otherwise, get on with it.
