On January 26th, speaking about the coronavirus, Dr. Fauci said the risk to Americans was low, that there was nothing to be worried or frightened about, and that we were prepared (snip) On April 3rd, in direct contradiction to a statement made just a few days prior by Dr. Birx that initial reports coming out of China were suggestive of a SARS-like virus and not a global pandemic (here), Fauci claimed it was clear to him in early-to-mid January that this virus was transmittable from human to human

I went on line yesterday to look for mortality rates in the US over the last few years. I concluded that there is no good data because one government site had different numbers for the same years on different web pages. That said, the true impact the the Wuhan virus would be the increase in death rate over the expected historical death rate. That said, Dr, Fauci does not appear to see the forest for the trees.

Fauci has not predicted anything with any level of accuracy from the beginning. He’s a fraud. And after he gave a ‘thumbs up’ to Jonathan Karl for bringing a communist to a press briefing you have to question far more than his medical credentials.

Covid19 is a fluid situation and NOBODY can be expected to be completely accurate before data is received and studied. Today's data is different than yesterday's data and so on. So, everyone's opinion is in a constant state of flux. This includes Trump, Birx, and Fauci.
The media, however, does NOT call out Fauci or Birx for their evolving opinions as they do Trump. They accuse Trump of "killing tens of thousands of people" because his opinion has changed...but give Fauci and Birx a pass for the exact same thing.
Once again, the media is the problem. Fauci and Birx are both scientific bureaucrats, doing what scientific bureaucrats do---trying to inform but not panic the public. It's the media that's whipping up mass hysteria. Not them.

I have no confidence in Dr. Fauci. I suspect that President Trump is having the same thought.
What to do? Fire Fauci and enrage the left? I'm certain that many in the media already have their stories written for that event! Tell him to stay in his office, because he is no longer needed in the briefings? That would be the best initial action. Firing can come later, when the time is right!

I wondered why Chris Wallace interviewed the boring Bill Gates last Sunday on FOX, so I did some reading... found that Fauci and Birx are both connected to Gates. There's BIG money in virus vaccines... and has been for other virus outbreaks.

Doctors, even when they are not bureaucrats are remarkably mono directional in their outlook. Dr. Fauci is no exception. On the other hand Dr .Brix who has been an army officer seems more balanced. Luckily looks like both Trump and Pence have the leadership skill of taking what is necessary and ignoring the rest.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Different names and titles, but same long-term federal bureaucrats intent on taking Trump down. It's clear we are at their mercy, especially when THEIR media amplifies their message while attacking any contradictory evidence or point of view. We are at their mercy.

fta: "On April 5th, Fauci said the percentage of Americans who are infected but asymptomatic could be as high as fifty percent. But he admits he’s just guessing and has no data to support this suspicion (here).
So, a monumental number based on insufficient data is offered up to the American people from a scientist who touts data.
Well that seems odd, especially coming on the heels of some encouraging news about the direction things appear to be headed beyond the immediate week or so ahead."
So realtime stories and accounts of recoveries from doctors in the field utilizing the HCQ+ treatment are anecdotal according to this fraud but Fauci's outrageous wild "donkey" guesses should be taken as gospel truth?
AND if 50% of us are walking around with this stuff and we ain't dropping like flies, why are we destroying the country on this little runts say so?
President Trump, end this now!

This article by Carol Brown refers us to an interview by Brian Kilmeade. In that interview, Kilmeade played a clip from a radio show hosted by John Catsimatidis -- but BK edited the clip.
Yes, Dr. Fauci said, "The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It's a very, very low risk to the United States." but he followed that up immediately with, "But it's something that we as public health officials need to take very seriously." Kilmeade cut that from the original Catsimatidis-Fauci interview.
That addition doesn't absolve Fauci completely, but why did Kilmeade cut it out? If a reporter did that with a Trump interview, we wouldn't like it.
Here is the entire Catsimatidis-Fauci interview from January 26, 2020:

Over the last two months, the all-cause death rate has been significantly lower than in previous years, for all age groups and in every state except New York. Not what we expect from a plague. This effect can be seen even before the shutdowns went into effect. You have to be a little careful interpreting the most recent weeks, because of a lag in reporting, but since the shutdowns the death rate has really dropped compared to previous years.

As for Fauci, I think we need to relax and take people as they are. So long as he's respectful, I'll be respectful too. But in general, I think this episode is a another red pill against trust in the wisdom of institutions.

Just caught an interview with Fauci. Headline was "Fauci predicts when kids will get back to school" Fumbled around like Biden and mentioned FALL a couple of times and after all that the answer was "We really don't have enough data to predict when that might be."
Looked again. Woops I'd hit CNN by mistake.
If he doesn't have reliable data, why is he on stage. Deep State Bureaucrat pure and simple.

Fauci is nothing more than a globalist ghoul who is a lab rat and friend of Bill Gates. Of course he is going to hold out for destruction and a vaccine that his buddy will own, vs letting people live normally again and use the Trump therapies. Which coincidentally are being used in France, and elsewhere in Europe. Why is it that Fauci and others like Zeke Emanuel are starting to resemble the corrupt John Podesta?
Too bad the media is being so tentative regarding the little ghoul named Fauci.

I think he's in love with his own image, and the alleged superior knowledge he has over the President on this issue. Thus far, I have not seen any evidence that he is any more knowledgeable about it than anyone who reads and scours for facts.
