A Sick Media

The other day Chris Hayes of MSNBC was pouting about the media’s coverage of Donald Trump’s press briefings. He called the airing of them “crazy.” He particularly didn’t like MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell using one of them to talk about “reading the Bible.” Hayes’ pouting captures the arrogance and secularist prejudice of the media perfectly. The media sees its role not as a reporter of news but as a propagandistic arbiter — a Big Brother that will tell the public what it can and cannot take seriously. The media every day conforms more perfectly to Trump’s description of it as an “opposition party.” Its pulling away

A sick media talking all over themselves and spreading the very virus they're trying to destroy the President with apparently.

We know to always consider the source. Unfortunately, most of our media is an evil, hateful font of arrogant opinions. The President's fact based, informative briefings about CoVid-19 have been the best source to learn about this virus, and to see first hand the mean girl and girly man journalists failing as reporters.

What the media discounts is that once you lose the public trust, getting it back is just about impossible. Up to BO's election the public wanted to believe that the media was "neutral". A lot of us knew it wasn't but it wasn't blatant and many people refused to see the bad signs. When BO was elected, the media decided "they" had won, then and going forward as well. Their prejudices came out. Why not? There weren't enough others left to cause them a problem. Then, Trump. The media had already been caught in flagrante delicto with the dems and Trump was happy to point it out. It was obvious. The media was suddenly in the spotlight with lots of evidence of their behavior. Trump was declared an enemy and the war was on. The media arrogantly declared that, with Trump, everything they might do was justified. Then they went on to prove it. Except, surprisingly, the media is rather bad at the propaganda job they were trying to do. They were stupid, ham handed, and obviously far too full of vitriol to be rational. Every failure causes them to up their attempts and casts them even further into the pit. Their statements of being the deciders of what information the public should see and the way they should see it is totalitarian. Their ratings are in the tank and dropping. Trump's assessment, "No one believes you anymore.", is accurate and yet they persist. Their obsessive behavior is destroying them and even placing them on a ventilator is unlikely to help.

I have not watched the lamestream media (including FNC) in several years, and just only tolerate the local news media. They are no longer "journalists," but corrupt, lying propagandists.

I suppose that many in the media choose that employment because it seems to give them power. They are the losers, that no one likes and were never invited to parties! The only positive thing about he situation is that we know where they are. They could have become faceless bureaucrats, obstructing every process they were in control of.

Since no one in the mainstream media would ever dare write this, allow me: I’d like to give a round of applause to Vice President Mike Pence. I can’t wait for the Trump-Deranged trolls to lose their minds as they read that opener. Take a deep breath guys, because I’m just getting started! We’ve always known that the vice president is a religious man. I mean, how could we forget? Since the day he was picked as VP in 2016, the media has never missed an opportunity to mock him for being an evangelical, born-again Christian.

After the 9/11 terrorist attack, Rudy Giuliani’s calm presence was an inspiration to the entire nation. Today, New York is a different kind of ground zero, and it has a very different kind of leadership — which is to say, the weak and woefully inadequate kind. To say that Mayor Bill de Blasio has done a poor job under pressure is to understate the case. In the simpler times of 2014, New Yorkers had the luxury of chuckling at his weak leadership, as when he killed a defenseless groundhog at a public event. But that he has proven himself such a clown amid a grave crisis,

"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore." Remember that line from the famous American movie "Network"? It's time for a rebellion. Every out-of-work American and every out-of-business American business owner needs to open their windows and shout it, shout it so loud it reaches President Donald Trump, Congress and every swamp politician from Washington D.C., to New York to Boston to Beverly Hills, California. It's time for this madness to stop. Mr. President, do you understand how many suicides of prominent business owners are going to start piling up?

Just a few weeks ago, America’s economy was chugging along, high school seniors were prepping for graduation, fitness clubs were rolling out their spring specials and Americans were starting to discuss their summer travel plans. Now? Now it’s a different world. A brave new world. Now, masked men and women separated by six feet of government-mandated space wait their turns at the local grocery, hoping by the time they’re waved through the door there’ll still be toilet paper available for sale. Now, local restaurants advertise take-out only — and only the few that are still serving at all. Now, Americans stay home in the day, at night, all the hours in between,

The Zoom teleconferencing app has been “mistakenly” routing user data through China, the Silicon Valley company admitted Friday evening. The app has surged in popularity as workers and students the world over are stuck in their homes amid the coronavirus pandemic. Schools have been using the app for online classes while companies and even governments have been using it to hold meetings, and much of that data may have been exposed to China, the Financial Times reported. Certain calls were “allowed to connect to systems in China, where they should not have been able to connect,” the company said in a statement.

Thousands of prisoners have been released from jails since the coronavirus crisis hit. “In Los Angeles County, Sheriff Alex Villanueva has embarked on what appears to be the largest U.S. effort to release inmates, freeing 1,700 people this month, or about 10 percent of the population of one of the nation’s largest jail systems,” reports the New York Times. The New York Post has reported on the case of a child rapist who was released to protect him from the coronavirus: A Massachusetts man convicted of repeatedly raping a 12-year-old boy was ordered released from jail Friday — because he suffers from health conditions

U.S. Attorney John Durham’s review of the Russia investigation is putting increased scrutiny on former CIA Director John Brennan, searching for any undue influence he may have had during 2017’s intelligence community assessment of Russian interference. Durham, selected by Attorney General William Barr last year to lead this inquiry, drove to Washington, D.C., in March to ensure the investigation stayed on track during the coronavirus outbreak. The top Connecticut federal prosecutor is looking into highly sensitive issues, including whether Brennan took politicized actions to pressure the rest of the intelligence community to match his conclusions about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s motivations, according to sources cited by the Wall Street Journal.

"No state in America does more to help residents regardless of their immigration status," the governor rightly assured the reporter. Newsom first bragged about the state's healthcare coverage for illegal aliens before explaining how his administration is now helping illegal alien small business owners obtain grants while a large part of the American economy remains shut down.

Anthony Fauci, the medical professional at the eye of the coronavirus storm, has just come out and said the federal government should issue a national order for all Americans to stay home, stay inside, stay put. Is he nuts? Let’s rephrase: He’s nuts. On CNN, Fauci was asked by host Anderson Cooper, “Knowing the science, does it make sense to you that some states are still not issuing stay-at-home orders? I mean, whether there should be a federally mandated directive for that or not, I guess that’s more of a political question, but just scientifically, doesn’t everybody have to be on the same page with this stuff?” And Fauci said — yep.

Sen. Racial data on coronavirus will be critical to ensuring an equitable and just response to this crisis across the board,” she wrote in a tweet, referencing an article from the Atlantic. “But we don’t have that data—yet,” she added:
