Shortly after President Trump touted chloroquine as a potential cure for COVID-19, the media triumphantly reported that a man died from taking homemade chloroquine due to Trump’s recommendation. It turned out that the man’s wife fed him some fish tank cleaner. She even partook of it with him, except that he died while she didn’t. As a dedicated murder mystery reader, I didn’t blame Trump. My suspicions were focused elsewhere. It turns out my instincts may have been right on the money. Here’s the story the drive-by media didn't tell you

The wife has a history of mental issues. One major clue for that: being a Democrat who hates Trump with a frightful fanaticism. She hated her husband too, since she wanted to divorce him since 2012, and was “furious with him all the time.” Hence, the fish-tank cleaner in the soda.

There seems to be a bit of ambiguity here as to what these misfits actually ingested. Both chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are administered as the phosphate or hydrochloride or phosphate salt, and both are effective against malaria and, presumably, the Yellow Plague. In other words, the "phosphate" part is not the problem, but the fact that they ingested chloroquine, rather than hydroxychloroquine, which is much less toxic. Chloroquine on the other hand, "is very dangerous in overdose" (Wikipedia). Now, add to this the fact that the chloroquine itself was but one ingredient in a witches' brew intended as a disinfectant for fish tanks, and you have a truly toxic concoction that only an unsound mind would attempt to use medicinally.

I never believe people when they blame their actions on others. We all have free will. But then again, I'm a reasonable person. The media isn't reasonable, they are liberal fanatics with hate.

No mystery involved. The wife poisoned her husband. She should be investigated for murder.

I bet in Nov (if not incarcerated) she'll be campaigning for Dims and next year she'll be living an apparently sane life...maybe looking for another mate.

FTA: "Here’s an excellent rule of thumb when navigating stories that are hostile to President Trump: Assume everything you hear is a lie, whether it’s from the media or from the anti-Trump source about which the media is reporting."
Amen to that, sister!

This is like one of those spouse kills spouse on REELZ tv for a life insurance policy to run off with the lover. This is stupid and blame it on the President in the end.

The woman certainly made it possible for the media to display their malignant evil agenda against President Trump. That was good advice: Don't believe anything you read/hear criticizing President Trump. The media doesn't need facts, only '' truth,'' as they define it!

I haven't seen or heard anyone ask this obvious question - - - -
Do they actually own a fish tank?
I'm betting not.

And exactly why do we keep funding NPR? NPR just got an additional $75 million in the stimulus bill that was supposed to be about corona virus matters. They are a taxpayer funded Democrat media shill and like the Democrats, NPR is a plague on this country. Defund them now.

It's truly amazing how a story gets out there with little or no research on the subjects so that the weak minded only have the anti Trump message to go on. With the exception of the conservative media the truth never comes to light. Just more left wing media malpractice.

I wouldn't be too harsh. If I were starving and my only choices were fish tank cleaner or bat soup I'd go for the fish tank.
