New York Times publishes fake news
about American Thinker

Original Article

Posted By: Magnante, 3/30/2020 4:42:06 AM

!In its Sunday edition, with the biggest readership of the week, the New York Times published an utterly baseless accusation, “The American Thinker falsely claimed that the [Fauci] email was evidence that he was part of a secret group who opposed Mr. Trump.” In other words, the newspaper did exactly what it purported this website did: “falsely claimed” something without a factual basis. Moreover, in its online edition, the Times failed to link to the post in question, so that readers could see for themselves that the accusation was untrue. This libel comes as the latest in a series of mainstream media attacks

First off, I am a huge fan of American Thinker, and I absolutely DESPISE the NYT, and will NOT click on links to NYT articles. However..... There was more than necessary, as far as I saw, a few relatively unfair personal attacks on Fauci in some conservative circles, including American Thinker, and even here after a letter of his supporting Hellary was discovered. Do I think Fauci has always been the very best possible leader in this? No. Fauci clearly has been a bureaucrat and a "lab rat", and he was a bit slow to shift gears from his normal "peacetime" bureaucratic, business-as-usual sluggishness and requirement for all I's to be dotted and all T's to be perfectly crossed, to the needed "max effort, get all roadblocks to progress torn down TODAY" mode. Bur, overall, I still think he has done a pretty good job. He seems to have, after a day or two of foot dragging, mostly shed his bureaucratic ways and now is pushing hard to get the fastest possible research and testing responses. He still wants proper testing to be done, but as quickly as possible. Did I say how much I despise the NYT?

Texas created a Wuhan virus martyr

On Tuesday, Texas may have created the anti-lockdown movement’s first martyr when a Dallas judge sentenced hairstylist Shelley Luther to a week in prison for the crime of trying to provide for her own and her employee’s families. Texas is home to 28,995,881 people. It’s had 32,879 diagnosed Wuhan virus cases (that is, 0.11% of the population got diagnosed) and 890 virus deaths (0.003% of the population). Most of the cases are linked to nursing homes or people with co-morbidities. Even in nursing homes, though, things needn't be so dire. One doctor’s experiment shows that early intervention with the hydroxychloroquine cocktail can result in a 92% successful treatment rate.

While my inner troll is delighting in Tara Reade exposing the moral bankruptcy of the Democrats’ phony “Believe all women” stance only when political enemies are accused, I am a skeptic. And I fear that her efforts will help the Dem establishment in pulling the plug on Biden, whose declining mental capacity cannot be hidden for the nearly 6 months of presidential campaigning ahead. Make no mistake: rushing to deny the nomination to Bernie Sanders by backing Biden was a colossal blunder. Shooing his rivals out of the race enabled a big Super Tuesday delegate harvest for Biden, but because the media failed to alert them

If we presume that Joe Biden’s pace of mental decline doe not reverse direction, the Democrats will be stuck with an embarrassment leading them into disaster in November. Unless there is vote fraud on a massive scale, Americans will not hand the fate of the Republic to Grandpa Simpson (snip) There are contributing factors, his flacking for China as his son reaped ten-figure backing from the Communists, and his sexual harassment issues most prominently (for now). But the wiser and wilier among the DNC’s power elite know that they will not be able to hide Biden’s mental infirmity all the way to November third.

Andrew McCarthy, writing in the National Review, outlined the case that the FBI, under the direction of James Comey, working through Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Andrew McCabe, and others, set up General Michael Flynn for a perjury trap. (snip) Comey must be prosecuted. He violated the constitutional rights of General Flynn and tried to remove a duly elected U.S. president. He prosecuted and persecuted an innocent man, General Flynn, for political purposes because he believes he knows better than the American voters who elected President Trump. A prosecution is necessary to get to the truth of whether Comey acted independently or was following explicit or implicit orders.

This is a tale, not of two cities, but of two states, and two governors. Both states began reopening their economies last week as the worst of the Chinese flu appears to be over, except for a few isolated hotspots. Both states are reopening in a similar fashion, taking baby steps rather than a full gallop. One state is Georgia, the other is Colorado. (snip) Media reaction was anything but comparable or reasonable. The Guardian calls the decision racist with this headline, “Georgia's Covid-19 reopening pits white governor against black mayors.” CNN parrots the racist angle with this headline, “Black leaders say reopening Georgia is an attack on people of color.”

It was 1793. George Washington was President. Philadelphia was the U.S. capital. Friday morning, Joe Biden sat down for an interview with Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Mika asked some hard-hitting questions about Tara Reade’s allegation that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993. Biden looked unusually alert and tracked fairly well for most of the interview until he got tired and confused (at the 14-minute mark). More disturbing than that, though, were the misrepresentations and elisions that made it appear as if he were answering the questions when, in fact, he wasn’t. Most surprisingly, Biden insisted that it would be better for him if nobody could see his records before the election.

We are currently in the third wave of the left's attempts to totally deconstruct America into the image of the leftist utopia. There is no love of this country or its traditions or its Constitution among the left. Remaking it into a radical ideological hellhole is leftists' only objective. The impoverished and criminals are sacrosanct and must be preserved. They enable the corruption and absolute power the left craves. Two classes, the rulers and the ruled, constitute the society that the left requires. This is absolute evil, and it is the way the world has functioned for centuries.
