On Sunday afternoon, nearly two weeks into his self-imposed isolation at home in Delaware, Joe Biden joined a private conference call for 72 donors from the Atlanta area. Biden, now the all-but-presumptive Democratic presidential nominee in a race frozen by the coronavirus, had recently been taking heat for his relative absence in the national conversation while Donald Trump’s inept response to the crisis flooded cable TV and headlines. (“Where is Joe Biden?,” went the refrain from frustrated Bernie Sanders supporters, some jittery Biden fans, and plenty of Trumpy trolls.) On the phone — a substitute for the in-person address he’d been scheduled to give donors

Oh, Joe. Please pick Warren. Lizzie couldn't even draw enough voters on her own to beat the other ne're-do-wells running for the nomination. She'll ensure your November falme-out.

No, Creepy Uncle Joe is spending his time in his bunker wandering back and forth between the bathroom and the kitchen and looking for his slippers (which he's wearing).

I don't know why. You know it will be Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams, Fauxcahontas, or Amy Klobuchar. How much "thinking" does that require even in the early stages of dementia? My money's on Amy.

If Dementia Joe picks the Hildebeast, and the 'Rats manage to Steal the election form President Trump, I'm taking out a $One Hundred Million term life policy on Sleepy Joe the day after the election.
With only one doddering old man between Her Thighness and the Oval Office, Arkancide, Inc will surely be called on for their most 'audacious' job yet.
After all, what is one more grave-stepping stone in the already long and winding Arkancide Trail? I predict Sniffin' Joe will not last One Week after the electors convene.
Whatever the point is that a VP will step into the President position when the President dies, the clock starts ticking.
I don't know if he will even make it to the Inauguration.

Thumbing through catalogues, picking out new presidential duds for himself and draperies for the White House. Has Jilly chosen her inaugural ball gown yet?

Well, he does have to decide whether the VP should use raspberry or strawberry scented hair products.

Oh no, no, no! Professor Biden is planning the curriculum for the upcoming semester! He thinks he's a professor, now. Seriously, the man is losing his marbles, the deterioration is accelerating.

This is "New York Magazine" speaking about Joe's coronavirus bunker ? I had thought it was likely to be a Biden/Moochelle ticket but even Moochelle wants to get nowhere near this. How about Biden/Romney.

I don’t believe that Joseph Biden will pick who the Democrat Vice-Presidential nominee will be. That decision will be made by Barack Obama and a select group of Democrat Super Delegates. They know that the senile Biden with diminishing cognitive abilities, if lucky enough to be elected, will not be qualified to perform the complex duties of President of the USA for very long, and will ensure that the Democrat Vice-Presidential nominee will be a very liberal gender and minority favored politician, who would succeed Biden, when he heads into retirement, and carry out the leftist and liberal Democrat political agenda, and who as an unelected President would be able to run for re-election in 2024 and 2028. But first they have to defeat President Trump.

He was dumb to insist the VP must be a woman. That severely limits his choices. Many of them have already flopped on the national stage or are not ready to 'take over at a moment's notice'.

Yes #10 your last sentence says it all. But which one of these political opportunists wants to be the FIRST to go down with slow JOE ?

Agree with # 3. Klub Kar checks off most of the boxes, didn't disgrace herself in the debates and wants to position herself for 2024. Joe has already played the female-minority card with the first Supreme Court vacancy.

...But oh, wouldn't it be great if he totally [bleeped] up and chose Abrams?

They lost me at "Trump's inept response." I want some of the drugs they must be smoking. Trump's response has been masterful.
