The ‘good cop bad cop’ routine with deBlasio just seemed a little too scripted… Then the framework of a usefully constructed contrast narrative started to become clear… Then, as if on cue, all national broadcasts started being interrupted for maximum exposure; again a little odd. A deep, very deep, connection to Bloomberg reappeared as a little flashing light in the corner of the picture… Then the Murdoch’s started to shape the landscape; curiosity piqued… (Snip) WATCH: (Video) Are they positioning NY Governor Andrew Cuomo to exit the DNC convention as the consensus nominee; the chosen one? (Snip) Think that’s crazy?…. Let’s keep watching.

Comments:

Fox’s programming has been interrupted a number of times in the last few days for live coverage of Andrew Cuomo’s “live” sessions re the coronovirus. They are long. He drones on and on. Regardless of what Sundance suspects or what the Dems may be up to, TV is not Andrew’s friend. He comes off more as an aging low class mob member who has found himself in a position of importance.

It was very odd, sitting here in Southern California,, to be treated to what amounted to almost hours of Andrew Cuomo droning on about what a good job he was doing in New York. Live. And not once but repeatedly. Live. Not reruns. Imagine it must have felt the same in Texas, Kansas or Montans… Sundance speculates about what this may be all about...

This has had me wondering too. There has been a lot of talk about the son om Mario the Pious sounding presidential, and all that. This is the next to last guy we want as president, He is a corrupt NY Pol with a voice worse than Hillary's cackle. You know the media is going to push this guy on us. He bowed to the greens on fracking when it's just what was needed to lift the upstate communities out of a prolonged economic downtrend, and as a further example of his left thinking, and he won't allow a gas pipeline through the state to serve Westchester County and Long Island. Instead he blamed the utilities for starving customers of the natural gas needed for new homes. Then there is the closing of Indian Point nuclear station for no other reason than to satisfy the environmental whackos. What is going to replace that electricity...windmills? Of course there are the high state taxes in NY. Do you really want this jerk as President? Now he sucks up to Trump, the man he has blasted over the past three years. He wants that tunnel to nowhere under the Hudson, the one Governor Christie stopped because Christie knew that there would always be those cost overruns that NJ would get stuck with while the tunnel would benefit only NYC. Do not trust any Democrat, especially Andrew, brother of Fredo. Do you need an explanation?

The unbelievably population dense New York City is going to suffer a lot of deaths from the Chinese corona virus, that is self-evident as the clambering for medical masks and diagnostic tests by politicians there are not going to stop the virus from reaping havoc there. In November the American people are not going to vote for a liberal Democrat New York politician who has been spinning a line of bull-sh-t and who sounds to them as a Mafia boss in action as his State spun out of control.

#1, I commented Friday, I think that NY folks imagine that they are the absolute focus of the entire universe. Once you get more than about 100 miles inland from either coast, few would even notice if NY state and NYC just vanished one day. NY is a place I try to stay far from, and care nothing about.

Someone over at FR posted a vanity thread on this idea a couple days ago. I thought it was crazy at the time, but if Sundance sees it too, maybe there is something to it.. I guess it could happen if the 0bama cabal decides to forego their intended stealth brokered convention 'party rescuer' pick to back Cuomo.

About 50 guests gathered on March 5 at a home in the stately suburb of Westport, Conn., to toast the hostess on her 40th birthday and greet old friends, including one visiting from South Africa. They shared reminiscences, a lavish buffet and, unknown to anyone, the coronavirus. Then they scattered. The Westport soirée — Party Zero in southwestern Connecticut and beyond — is a story of how, in the Gilded Age of money, social connectedness and air travel, a pandemic has spread at lightning speed. The partygoers — more than half of whom are now infected — left that evening for Johannesburg, New York City and other parts of Connecticut and the

Folks, this was done to tank the markets. This was done to resist President Trump. This was done to screw over the American worker. The Senate has a $1.6 trillion Wuhan coronavirus bailout package that Democrats co-wrote. They filibustered it on Sunday night. We all know why they’re doing this. This isn’t a secret. The Dow Jones is down some 600 points as we speak and now, they’re trying to logroll stuff that is unrelated to this pandemic. Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) said this move is to shift the economic agenda more to the progressive Left’s vision. Guy wrote up the laundry list the left wants right now.

President Donald Trump did something difficult and remarkable during the White House press briefing on Sunday: he stood up for the free market in a moment of crisis, when at least half the country is pushing him to abandon it. America’s increasingly unstable and dangerous establishment media are calling for a full blackout of President Trump’s daily coronavirus press conferences. Think about that for a moment… For the first time since World War II, for the first time in nearly 80 years, Americans have no idea what their country will look like a year from now, and the corporate media want to impose a full blackout on the daily briefings the American president is making to the American people. There’s a lot of jokes out there about the hypocrisy of how this demand is coming from the same media that had a tantrum over the White House canceling the daily press briefings.

Vice President Biden is due Monday to begin giving briefings on the coronavirus crisis so as to appear like a shadow president. There’s just one problem. Sleepy Joe, as President Trump likes to call him, has been upstaged by none other than Andrew Cuomo. It seems the doughty Democratic governor of New York has emerged as a star, while Mr. Biden is still getting a studio set up in his home. Maybe Mr. Cuomo is the one whom the Democrats should run against Mr. Trump. He has been out there every day of late with detailed updates, wise asides, references to his time in Washington, and commentary on the Constitution.

Joe Biden reached a new and heady milestone when he shellacked Bernie Sanders in Florida, Illinois and Arizona to become the de facto Democratic nominee for president. But there was no soaring speech to acknowledge the moment. He never took the stage amid a sea of Biden signs or before an adoring crowd on national television. Biden was instead stuck in a makeshift studio in his Delaware home, webcasting his remarks with a low-quality personal computer camera against a straight-out-of-YouTube black backdrop and two American flags. He warned about the coronavirus contagion. He offered an olive branch to Bernie Sanders. Then, despite two consecutive weeks of smashing victories,
