Joe Biden Blasts Trump’s Coronavirus
Response, Then Plagiarizes Trump’s Plan

On Thursday, Joe Biden slammed President Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak while speaking in Wilmington, Del., on Thursday afternoon. "The administration's failure on testing is colossal and it's a failure of leadership, planning, and execution," Biden said. “This virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration." Biden went on to suggest things that should have been done. And if you thought they sounded familiar, you’re right, because immediately after blaming Trump for not doing enough, Biden suggested things that have, in fact, already been done. Joe Biden said "no efforts should be spared" to get private labs and universities working to rapidly expand testing for coronavirus.

Joe's running on Obama nostalgia. Compare Trump's response to Coronavirus against Obama's non-response to H1N1.

It's only been said a zillion times: "If they didn't have double standards, they'd have none at all." Power is their god, and they'll say and do anything to get it no matter how hypocritical or amoral.

If 350 million medically effective diagnostic tests could be manufactured to immediately test all Americans for a previously unknown virus, why did not the Obama-Biden Administration have those tests manufactured and on hand during their eight years in office?

Yes, the headline says it all. My wife and I watched this and she said, "That's stupid, Trump has already done all of that." Yep.

Walmart is cutting store hours starting Sunday at its locations across the U.S. due to COVID-19. Stores normally open 24 hours will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. until further notice, the company said late Saturday. Other stores, which are typically open until midnight, will also have reduced hours. "This will help ensure associates are able to stock the products our customers are looking for and to perform cleaning and sanitizing," Dacona Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Walmart U.S., wrote in a blog post.

The Bernie Bros are vowing revenge. As the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders continues to crash and burn, the socialist’s most hard-core supporters are vowing they will never vote for Joe Biden at the ballot box — even if that means handing Trump a second term. “We will never – NEVER boost or support Joe Biden or defend his abysmal record and terrible policy positions,” Henry Williams, executive director of The Gravel Institute, told The Post. “We will tell people, as we always have, to vote their conscience and to make decisions based on the interests of all the world’s oppressed people …

Amid all the coronavirus worries, here’s a positive development: NASA this month began taking applications for new astronauts. You probably won’t qualify: Candidates must have STEM backgrounds, and the odds of being accepted in the last round were 50 times worse than those for Harvard applicants. Plus NASA’s at least four years away from getting anyone to the moon — though that’s far from the only manned mission now on the planning boards. On the other hand, firms like Axiom Space and Elon Musk’s SpaceX are starting to offer regular commercial trips that are (literally) out of this world — and you don’t need to be a real astronaut.

SALT LAKE CITY -- As ski resorts across the United States grappled with how to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus without having to close, industry giant Vail Resorts decided Saturday it would shutter all of its North American resorts for at least one week. After earlier in the day announcing their resorts would remain open with added measures to prevent the spread of the virus, Vail Resorts changed course and said it would shut down 34 resorts starting Sunday through March 22 before reassessing, according to the company's news release.

The COVID-19 outbreak is giving new meaning to those “sustainable” shopping bags that politicians and environmentalists have been so eager to impose on the public. These reusable tote bags can sustain the COVID-19 and flu viruses—and spread the viruses throughout the store. Researchers have been warning for years about the risks of these bags spreading deadly viral and bacterial diseases, but public officials have ignored their concerns, determined to eliminate single-use bags and other plastic products despite their obvious advantages in reducing the spread of pathogens. In New York State, a new law took effect this month banning single-use plastic bags in most retail businesses, and this week

Never let it be said that Bernie Sanders isn't doing his level best to spread fear and panic across America. At a doom-and-gloom press conference today, Sanders pleaded with Trump to pay for everyone to be tested for COVID-19, demanded paid leave for all, and generally transplanted his political agenda onto the coronavirus response that the U.S. should make. How convenient. But most of all, Sanders is telling Americans that they are in grave danger because the president has fallen down on the job. And the ultimate cost of Trump's incompetence will be hundreds of thousands of dead.

For Sarah Palin, it has been a long, strange trip. I have always been a fan of hers. She did a terrific job as a citizen activist in Alaska, and then as governor. I thought she acquitted herself well as a vice presidential candidate; among other things, she thrashed Joe Biden in their vice presidential debate. And that was when Biden was in full possession of his (admittedly meager) faculties. But then she went show biz. When she resigned, needlessly, as governor, I wrote here that whatever shot she had to be a presidential contender was gone. Commenters blasted me

Democrats are breathing a sigh of relief. Joe Biden's victories on "Mini Tuesday" make his delegate lead all but insurmountable. Bernie Sanders's electoral weakness, compared with his performance four years ago, has dulled the fear of an incipient socialist takeover of the world's oldest political party. The left is said to have talked itself into believing its own propaganda and helped President Trump equate Democrats with socialism. Victory in the primary did not come from pledges to eliminate private health insurance or impose wealth taxes. It followed from the perception that Biden is the candidate best able to defeat Trump.

The operation resulted in more than 600 arrests nationwide, 350 indictments and “significant seizures of money and drugs,” according to the agencies.

Joe Biden’s campaign has just completed one of the most remarkable turnarounds in political history. So how has Biden responded? By reshuffling his campaign team and picking a new campaign manager. The Washington Post reports: Former vice president Joe Biden has named Jen O’Malley Dillon as his new campaign manager, a major shake-up that comes just as the party’s leading candidate plans a major organizational expansion to prepare for the general election, according to a person familiar with the decision. The move is intended to quell concerns that have been raised in recent weeks by senior Democratic strategists about the leadership structure

In October 2014, Ezekiel Emanuel published an essay in the Atlantic called “Why I Hope to Die at 75.” Because Emanuel is a medical doctor and chair of the University of Pennsylvania’s department of medical ethics and health policy, as well as a chief architect of Obamacare, the article stirred enormous controversy.Emanuel vowed to refuse not only heroic medical interventions once he turned 75, but also antibiotics and vaccinations. His argument: older Americans live too long in a diminished state, raising the question of, as he put it, “whether our consumption is worth our contribution.” (Snip)If you look at really smart people, there aren’t that many writing brand-new books

First of all, Wuhan is a place and not a race, and to identify the coronavirus by its place of origin, like naming the Ebola Virus for a river in Zaire, is not racist or xenophobic — it's merely accurate. There is no racism or xenophobia in labeling an infection "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever" or calling something "Lyme Disease" after a nearby town in Ohio. What calling this latest virus the Wuhan Virus is is a reminder of the multiple contagions China has spawned and released on an unsuspecting world.

In retrospect, Florida dodged a bullet. Andrew Gillum, the corruption-tinged left-wing mayor of Tallahassee, who less than two years ago darn near got elected goveror of Florida, based on a glowing 'making history' press narrative, has been caught naked, in a hotel room with a gay "escort," barfing over a toilet, and too inchoate to answer questions from cops, who were called in to hose out a $220 a night Miami hotel room of meth baggies. The self-described porn star in the room had a profile on "Rent Men" and being that he was with Gillum and another guy, naked, was in what cops reportedly suspected was a orgy.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio advocated for nationalizing certain industries to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus. While appearing on MSNBC's AM Joy, host Joy Reid asked de Blasio how someone in New York City should go about getting tested during the growing COVID-19 pandemic. "People can get tested according to a priority structure, and it's not enough testing. It's just as simple as that," de Blasio said, later claiming that the city has been "pleading" with the federal government for additional testing. "Here's the reality. This is a war-like situation. We're in a wartime scenario with a 'Mar-a-Lago attitude' being used by the federal government, right?"

President Donald Trump has tested negative for the coronavirus, the White House announced on Saturday evening. “Last night after an in-depth discussion with the President regarding COVID-19 testing, he elected to proceed. This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative,” White House physician Dr. Sean Conley said in a statement released via White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham. “One week after having dinner with the Brazilian delegation in Mar-a-Lago, the President remains symptom-free. I have been in daily contact with the CDC and White House Coronavirus Task Force, and we are encouraging implementation of all their best practices for exposure reduction and transmission mitigation.”

I understand that people fear being in quarantine for two weeks or a month over WuFlu fears, and wanting their personal supply to last. On Sunday evening, the remaining candidates with a real shot at the Democratic nomination will meet in Washington amid a pandemic to state why they should be chosen to lead the nation. In many ways, the debate will vary from all others held since last summer. Instead of a large and diverse field of candidates, only two old, white men remain. And instead of testing their styles and one-liners in front of a crowd, this meeting will lack an audience. With so much stripped away, the candidates will either shine or fail. At this moment, it seems that the nomination is former Vice President Joe Biden's to lose.

When Breitbart News tuned in, Illinois Sen.
