Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) called for authority over the coronavirus outbreak to be handed to an emergency bipartisan group of experts and to Congress rather than President Donald Trump. Sanders called on President Trump to declare an “emergency” — something Trump already did on Jan. 31 — and then added that the president should essentially, be replaced: Because President Trump is unwilling and unable to lead selflessly, we must immediately convene an emergency bipartisan authority of experts to support and direct a response [to coronavirus] that is comprehensive, compassionate, and based first and foremost on science and fact.

This week, the Kyle Rittenhouse trial heated up as more and more details came out about exactly what happened that night.
In true Tucker Carlson fashion, he had a hilarious and sarcastic take on the trial, especially when it comes to Joseph Rosenbaum, a chid rapist who attacked Rittenhouse that night last summer.
“The trial confirmed exactly what happened, and here are the facts about it. A convicted child rapist called Joseph Rosenbaum was released from a mental hospital and then went directly to join the mob that was burning downtown Kenosha. Once he got to the riot, Rosenbaum saw Kyle Rittenhouse and immediately threatened to kill him,” Tucker explained.
Newly released footage of the Ashli Babbitt shooting has been obtained and released by Judicial Watch. The footage is part of the 14,000 hours of documented surveillance video that the FBI and Capitol Police have refused to release to the public.
The footage is striking in that it shows Capitol Police officers gathered behind the protesters while they suspiciously orchestrate a break-in of a corridor to the Senate chambers. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton sets up the video at the five minute mark. [Video]
