The Seattle Times has clearly made an editorial decision: they are determined to hide the most consequential, controversial and, in fact, most clickable story in all of Western Washington politics. At 2:00 AM Thursday Morning, Washington State Democrats voted to force “Comprehensive Sexual Education” (CSE) into government schools, stating in kindergarten; the curricula tied to this bill, FLASH and 3Rs, teaches, among other things, kindergarteners have a clitoris or a penis and they feel good to touch, (snip) The Seattle Times has totally ignored it. Our founders understood why the 2nd amendment was needed. Sometimes we ARE called to risk everything and stand up to keep the Redcoats from taking what is ours - as in our children? We imagine that elected officials serve OUR interests or that the courts will protect us. Read and remember our own history. Sending emmisaries to the English king got nowhere.

Silence, along with the compulsion of law, is an implicit admission that the legislators and the ideologues that pull their strings are imposing their views on your kids, and often against your wishes.

And a year ago, the Times effectively silenced any conservative voice in their comment section. Their new policy was no comments on any story from the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, any story not originating locally. And local stories won't have a comment section if it's the least bit controversial. Of course, no employee at the Times is a normal, decent sort of person, they're all left wing progressives, democrats, socialists, marxists or what ever it is their calling themselves this week.

Seattle Times demonstrating a common form of Fake News. Omissions are a form of lying that tacitly denies a relevant development like this. One might expect the Times to cover this, because controversy generates clicks and sells papers. But assisting the advance of Liberalism is clearly a higher priority to them than reporting on it.

Faced with mounting coronavirus infections, California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sunday issued sweeping new restrictions in California, calling for home isolation of everyone in the state over age 65 and people with chronic disease, both high-risk populations. He also asked for closure of bars, wineries, night clubs and brew pubs, and called for restaurants to reduce their occupancy by half. He called that “deep social distancing” and a “pragmatic response to the moment.” The dramatic announcement, designed to keep people away from each other, stopped short of closing restaurants. Instead, the governor said they can also operate at reduced capacity and with curbside food service and at-home food deliveries.

In the decade since the Great Recession, cloud computing became the de facto information-technology strategy for startup companies and, increasingly, large corporations alike. The business of renting remote computing power has grown into an enormous industry and, with No. 1 player Amazon and No. 2 Microsoft based in the Seattle area, a mainstay of the region’s broader tech-driven economy. As fears of a recession mount with the spread of the novel coronavirus, cloud analysts are considering how this $263 billion industry would fare in its first significant economic downturn since reaching maturity. The short answer: fairly well, especially for the market leaders.
