I watched with mild fascination yesterday as the whole “Chuck Schumer threatens SCOTUS Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh” story played out, and how the video went viral. Along with that was how Schumer’s office issued a statement in which they chastised Chief Justice Roberts’ response to the threats and laughably claimed all the backlash was over a “misinterpretation” of Schumer’s remarks before launching into whatboutism.
I’m not ashamed to admit that wave of schadenfreude washed over me.
The chickens were coming home to roost for the Senate Minority Leader and his fellow Democrats,

Just another old, white Democrat with dementia. The Democrat Party seems to be loaded with old people with dementia in leadership roles. Pelosi, Biden and now Schumer. People are noticing, believe me. Even everyday Democrats are without words.

It would be great to see Schumer go but isn't there a woman waiting in the wings who is even worse and would easily win in New York? I forget her name offhand.

The old 'taken out of context', or 'I mis-spoke' or 'it was just sarcasm's 'I was joking' and the blatant 'I never said that' are really getting old and tiresome. Schumer is the 1st one to scream for the recusal of any Republican that says anything detrimental about people on his side of the aisle.

The problem is, dems, especially Chuckie, are shameless.
When Conservatives talk mildly about principles that judges shouldn't be making law, the liberals scream about trying to influence the courts. Well, yes, politics DOES influence courts. The federal judges are picked and approved by politicians and they have the right to make selections based on the principles they support.
The line is drawn around individual cases. Judges are appointed for life specifically to be immune from such bullying as Chuckie carried out over specific cases, even future ones that are not fully defined. Even the selection process is protected from such interference. Presidents and Senators are NOT supposed to ask candidates about how they would rule about specific issues, i.e. a case, even a hypothetical one. Wise judges try not to leave a trail of statements that broadcast their personal views and refuse to answer such targeted questions in hearings. If such questions were asked of dem judicial candidates, media and dems would explode.
We are not talking about expressing disappointment in a judicial ruling. That is valid.
Threats, such as Chuckie's are not. They are WAY over the line, especially for a Senator. This shows the desperation of the powerless dems and the lack of limits they recognize. We saw that in Kavanaugh's hearings, in the impeachment efforts, and in other efforts the dems have made. The dems are without ethics and honor and know no shame.

I can think of one felony he committed, and arguably two. Disbarment should be a no brainer, too.
Right.

Employ the standards of the leftists:
Call for immediate condemnation by all Democrats (if they don't, blame them of being complicit in obstruction of justice).
Call for vote of censure in Senate.
Submit ethics charges.
Disbarment from NY State Bar
Ask Attorney General to investigate obstruction of justice, appoint special prosecutor to avoid conflict of interest.

This is what panic sounds like. The case before the Supreme Court is about requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges to an actual hospital. The liberals see this as an attack on abortion rights. Most people see it as common sense legislation that will protect the health of the mother. In some States they have proudly passed laws that make it illegal to protect the health of the baby. There are no laws to make it illegal to sell baby body parts off and make a profit. If they were able to clear the fog from their brains they might be able to see how truly horrifying the abortion industry has become. Threatening SC justices over this is one more step toward the cliff for the Democrat Party.

If ever a Republican is falsely accused of a Schumer incident, he should jokingly claim the Schumer rule.

I've had the misfortune of being in eastern cities. Luckily not often. There seem to be no shortage of loud mouth boors who flail their arms around and make threats, usually while backing away from the one they are threatening. Its like watching some kind of a jungle tribal dominance thing.

Anyone, and I mean anyone that still supports the likes of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi must be totally incapable of rational thought. Oh right, sorry, that takes in most people still casting their votes for Democrats.

#11, looked it up and he is a member of the NY Bar--he passed the NY Bar exam.
And the ABA is not happy he did this. They should pull his Law License--like Clinton and Obama.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMP 2020 AND BEYOND!!! Schumer's jealous and this isn't going to help him become majority leader. Fool!

This household is praying for the reversal of Roe v. Wade during President Trump’s administration. This country was founded as a Christian nation and its citizenry should do everything possible to treasure that founding, preserve that founding, and make clear to the world that we revere our Creator. In God we trust.

Force Schumer to resign. There is no cover for him. He said specific names. He knew what he was doing. He needs to be made an example that the rule of law is able to snare even a United States Minority Leader. You do not make threats to two named Supreme Court Justices on the steps of the United States Supreme Court.
