Washington-
Last week the Washington Times had an inspirational moment. On Thursday they wrapped this venerable newspaper in a red-inked wrapper and presented readers with an evocative question. In the top half of the wrapper the editors asked boldly,
Tired of being …
Lectured,
Mocked,
Lied to?
Now whom do you think the Times — we call it the Good Times — was alluding to? I think we all know. The question was directed at attendees at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, better known as CPAC. Thousands of conservatives were pouring into the area,

Remember Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me??... I grew up with that and Thank God for it. I don't get "triggered" by others and as I've gotten older and wiser I know that it isn't me who has the problem. They just project it as a mock, It's both hysterical and sad for THEM. They cannot handle different opinions. So mock away! It bring me joy. Ha!

Nope. I might ask the lefties the question because of their panic-stricken look these days.

The article was going along fine until he mentioned Daniel Patrick Moynihan as one of his heroes. He was the liberal meddler responsible for the 1986 tax laws that turned the business world upside down and further complicated an already out-of-control system. Examples like that are not what we need.

Don't care about the mocking by dems. What gets old is when the cuckservative republicans, aka GOPe's, decide to sniper at those of us who respond back to the mocking with some reality sandwiches. There is nothing high ground or moral in backstabbing and undermining your own side. That is what is irksome to me.

#5, Tyrrell was using Moynihan not as his mentor or role model, but as an example of a man you could disagree with *strongly*, and yet from whom you could expect civility and beyond that, even magnanimity.
It is a tribute that Moynihan was that kind of man; and a tribute to Tyrrell that he recognized it.

Seriously...... I'm actually offended when I hear anyone else described as being deplorable as I take that to be a real badge of honor granting me membership to a club composed of the best people! If I'm called 'deplorable' to my face I just say "thank you very much".
If anyone is not in the club they should never be allowed to use that adjective; it should be part of our bylaws.

Fortunately, I have chosen my friends and normal venues, and the place I reside so that I see little or nothing of this except on the news and internet.
Things are still pretty good here in Free America, in a suburb of KC on the Kansas side.
But, I know that these bizarre, anti-American folks are real, and some are here, too. But I can wear a MAGA hat all day and get only thumbs up and an occasional "I like your hat" from a waitress.

People tend to avoid calling me names directly to my face. If anyone suggests something like that, my first response is to laugh at the absurdity. There is NO one on the left and NO example from the left who has any moral standing to judge anyone. If they are serious, I treat them like the dangerous mental cases they are and then we see what happens. I will not be cowered by punks.

Why should we mind? Our role model was hated, mocked and murdered by the followers of the left's role model, the devil. That's what he does. He is a liar, a murderer, and the Accuser. Lying, mocking and accusing others of the very things they are guilty of is what the left does. Their role model, Lucifer, was "the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment," and they seek to emulate him. Satan, the personal name of the devil, means “accuser” or “adversary,” and he and his followers accuse those who have faith and seek to do good day and night, out of jealousy, envy, and hatred.

I look at it this way: Biden and Sanders are both proven LOSERS. Biden couldn't get the nomination back in the day in his multiple runs (South Carolina last week was the first state he EVER won). He was plucked from obscurity by Obama as his insurance policy and one would never upstage him. That he hasn't offered his endorsement says a lot. And Sanders was beaten/tricked/cast aside by Hillary, another two-time loser. Who has beaten Donald Trump? Nobody!

Number 9 you are indeed fortunate. Here in the SF Bay Area such insulting castigations are a normal everyday experience should one venture out. The assumption is that EVERYONE is progressive and if you are not then you must so ignorant you could not possibly be human.
It gets so old.
