Prison officials 'fear Harvey Weinstein
may try to kill himself like Jeffrey
Epstein and could house him in a private
section of Rikers Island with round-
the-clock surveillance'

Prison bosses are reportedly worried about how to handle Harvey Weinstein while he is in jail, fearing he may commit suicide—just like Jeffrey Epstein. Weinstein was convicted of rape and sexual assault on Monday and officials at New York prisons are said to be concerned another high-profile inmate could take his own life. Billionaire Epstein hanged himself last August in his cell at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. Now it is feared Weinstein may have to be kept in a private section of Rikers Island's North Infirmary Command, which is for high-risk inmates, for his own safety.

Comments:

You mean they’ll find a corpse that looks roughly like Weinstein, shut down the cameras, pay off the guards, and sneak the real Weinstein out the back door?

O.P. don't be ridiculous. Killing Weinstein and claiming he committed suicide is much cheaper, with no risk of him turning up alive someplace. I am not sure that Wenstein alive is the threat to anyone powerful enough to be worth killing him, unlike Jeffrey Epstein.

Yeah the sign outside the cell "Half Moon Hotel" isn't the most encouraging sign. As is well known ,the Rikers guards all have really severe prostate troubles, and haven't yet been prescribed saw palmetto extract ,or given special medical strings and knot instructions for emergencies. They all have to go #1 at the exact same time every five minutes, and its's a atampede to the can, man. The hall and cell lights are attached to rotary egg timers that count down from ten minutes to zero, then the lights go out until snoozing guards awaken and crank the handle back to ten minutes, beginning the process again. I forgot to mention that the cameras are also attached to ten minute timers, and each morning film has to be painstakingly loaded into the cameras, usually neglected under union rules because someone else has responsibility for loading the film. Besides, loading film into the cameras is as difficult as assembling all the sound tapes in a 1968 Moog synthesizer. Why don't they use digital cameras? What's digital? Harvey is being supplied with shoelaces sufficient for all laceable shoes and boots in Imelda Marcos's entire 3,000 pair of footware collection. The television outside the bars for which he has no remote control, when it's not running shows about Kid Twist Reles and his unsuccesful attempt at flight from a fifth story window, is running 24/7 Geico and Progressive commercials. Liberty biberty was banned because they don't want this molester of nubile women to smile anymore. On the stereo at night he hears Barney the Purple Dinosaur Song on a seven hour loop. The subliminal whisper "Epstein Epstein Epstein ... McDougal McDougal McDougal" breathes in the ductwork. They'll have you know they're taking excellent care of his molecules.

One hopes the walker is utilized by the prison population for various fun positions for their new "girl friend"... We know the cameras turn themselves on and off...shocking isn't it? Any perv who would force himself on any woman deserves everything he gets and more!

Google may be favouring certain US presidential hopefuls over others, according to an analysis of how Gmail sorts incoming emails. The study, conducted by The Markup, suggested Democratic candidate Pete Buttigieg received a significant boost compared to other leading candidates, as his campaign emails were the most likely to be directed to Gmail’s Primary inbox folder. Other candidates, including Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, had nearly all of their emails directed to either the Promotions or Spam folder of Gmail. The investigation was carried out between October and February using a fresh Gmail account signed up to the mailing lists of 16 different presidential candidates.

Flagstaff, Ariz.—Cherokee citizens are calling on Elizabeth Warren to publicly disavow a family story of indigenous heritage as a way to dissuade others from making false claims they say often romanticize Native Americans. The topic has haunted the Massachusetts senator since even before she announced she would seek the Democratic nomination for president, despite Warren repeatedly apologizing for identifying as Native American in the past and for submitting a DNA test to back up what she heard growing up. More than 200 tribal citizens reignited the debate this week, signing a letter to Warren that said her apologies are vague and don’t address the harm she’s caused.
