A former House information-technology staffer who became the center of fevered right-wing conspiracy theories about espionage and extortion filed a lawsuit Tuesday against The Daily Caller, alleging the conservative website defamed him and his relatives. The 23-page complaint from former Democratic IT staffer Imran Awan was filed Tuesday afternoon in D.C. Superior Court. Awan and the other plaintiffs—his wife, two of his brothers, and a friend, all of whom worked with Awan in Democratic House IT services—named as defendants The Daily Caller, the nonprofit Daily Caller News Foundation, DCNF reporter Luke Rosiak, and conservative publisher Regnery, which published a 2019 book Rosiak wrote about Awan.

The IG warned that Imran and his family were making “unauthorized access” to data Shortly after the IG report came out in September 2016, the Caucus server — identified as prime evidence in the cybersecurity case — physically disappeared Prosecutors arrested Imran at the airport after he began liquidating assets He pleaded guilty to fraud and was sentenced to 3 months Yeah, go ahead and sue. Good luck with that, buddy.

This suit just screams for an investigation! Where is the laptop Debbie Wasserman Schultz told the Capitol Police they couldn’t have, and that there would be consequences? Where did this filthy family get all the money they “gleaned” from selling national secrets and exposing all their Dem bosses’ info? What about all the “businesses” they ran, like the car dealership that didn’t deliver vehicles? Why did the head guy have all that money in his pocket and what was it’s source when caught at Dulles? What part did they have in the DNC’s computers being hacked by the Russians? Oh yeah! Bring suit against an entity that published news about the entire sordid affair. Do you think we forget these things?

This will be the new refrain from the left - sue anyone who accuses you of provable crimes. Up next on the docket, Lisa Page, Peter (too many consonants) Strok, Andrew (you will all burn) McCabe, James (Weasel) Comey, John (Stalin - Whatta Mench!) Brennan and James (one foot in the grave) Clapper. These will be lawsuits activist judges have designed to payout big to the fellow travelers on the left

Do they realize this lawsuit opens them to depositions about matters they and the DNC don’t want to see the light of day? Maybe it’s just a play for blackmail money from the DNC, or leniency in prosecution.

To Imran Awan and others similarly situated: If you didn't want to bring fleas into the house, you should not have lain down with dogs. It should be obvious to you by now that Democrats are not real people, they are cyborgs or robots or nephilim. It was your choice. And lucky you are to be able to afford Deepak Gupta, noted for representing plaintiffs in cases against Donald Trump. Over the weekend, Washington Post columnist Max Boot had a novel take on President Trump’s impeachment. According to Boot, what Trump said on the phone call with Ukraine’s president was in some ways worse than Andrew Jackson’s forced relocation of Native Americans or FDR’s internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. “Other presidents — from Andrew Jackson with the Trail of Tears during the 1830s, to Franklin D. Roosevelt with the internment of U.S. citizens and noncitizens of Japanese descent during World War II — have trampled our values, but they always had a public purpose and usually had congressional support,” Boot wrote. The unnamed "whistleblower" who launched the investigation that became the impeachment of President Donald Trump may himself be implicated in the Obama administration's decision to ultimately overlook the conflict of interest involving then-Vice President Joe Biden (administration point man on Ukraine) and his son Hunter, who served on the board of the notoriously corrupt Ukrainian gas firm Burisma. The fact that key questions about the "whistleblower" have been shut down from the start is a serious violation of Trump's due process, according to Patrick Philbin, deputy counsel to the president. Philbin listed three key due process concerns: a lack of authorization, the Democrats not allowing Trump

There probably isn’t a human being alive who mentions the name Barack Obama more often than Joe Biden. At the same time, there probably aren’t two politicians more dissimilar. In addition to being, as Biden put it, the “first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Obama has always been personally popular, even when his ideas didn’t go over particularly well. Obama engendered passion and loyalty from his idealistic fans and was rarely baited into saying anything impolitic or damaging. Needless to say, Obama is all the things Biden isn’t. When asked by an Iowa voter earlier this week if he would support

By ‘they’ I mean those people in the Brexit Derangement Syndrome intensive care ward, wired up to saline drips, attended to day and night, occasionally afforded a few thousand volts of ECT when things get really bad, but still foaming, still beside themselves with apoplexy. Alastair Campbell has announced that he will not accept the coin if given it in change. Mitch McConnell set up the rules for the Senate’s current impeachment hearing so that there would be an early vote on whether to call witnesses, or simply proceed to an up or down vote on impeachment. Either way, the result is foreordained, just as the impeachment process itself was foreordained when the Democrats captured the House in 2018. The president will be exonerated. The vote on whether to proceed with witnesses apparently will take place on Friday. Israel will retain 20% of the West Bank and will lose a small amount of land in the Negev near the Gaza-Egypt border. The Palestinians will have a pathway to a state in the vast majority of territory in the West Bank, while Israel will maintain control of all borders. This is the first time a US president has provided a detailed map of this kind. In 2005, Joe Biden’s brother bought an acre of land with excellent ocean views on a remote island in the Caribbean for $150,000. He divided it into three parcels, and the next year a lobbyist close to the Delaware senator bought one of the parcels for what had been the cost of the entire property. Later, the lobbyist gave Biden’s brother a mortgage loan on the remaining parcels. The Virgin Islands land deal, reported here for the first time, furthers a pattern in which members of the Biden family have engaged in financial dealings with people with an interest in influencing the former vice president.

House Education and Labor Committee Chairman Bobby Scott, a Virginia Democrat, argued that such "right-to-work" laws are unfair to unions and the workers that back collective bargaining, necessitating his bill, the Protecting the Right to Organize Act. “Under current law, unions are required to negotiate on behalf of all employees, regardless if they belong to the union or not," Scott told the Washington Examiner. Three senators – Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, and Mitt Romney of Utah – are rumored to be willing for witnesses to be called in the impeachment trial now underway in the Senate. Obviously, such a slowdown benefits the Democrats, who want the impeachment to headline news reports as long as possible.
