A CNN panel is facing intense backlash on Monday night for mocking Trump supporters as "credulous boomer rubes," even sparking fierce condemnation from President Trump and his presidential campaign. The panel, which originally aired on Saturday night during special live coverage of the impeachment trial, featured CNN anchor Don Lemon, New York Times columnist and CNN contributor Wajahat Ali, and ex-GOP strategist Rick Wilson discussing the heated exchange Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had with an NPR reporter, where he allegedly challenged the journalist to point out Ukraine on a blank map. Wilson used the topic to mock President Trump as well as his supporters.

Why does have any concern about anything anyone at CNN has to say? Their audience numbers are the lowest since they were established? They should be renamed DNC Jr.

All of us have privately mocked our opponent voters - "What are they thinking?". But now national media and even candidates running for national office openly ridicule the non-liberal portion of the electorate as if our differences of opinion were actual proof of idiocy or immorality - our being 'deplorable'.

All right CNN, I support President Trump. I went to college, I have a master's degree. I read and I read extensively. I get news from many, many sources (not you though). I read international papers and lots and lots of websites. I often joke I read everything from Breitbart to Buzzfeed. I would put myself up as much better informed than all of you put together. But I have a southern accent and I voted for Trump so I am an uneducated rube. Sounds about like something you arrogant individuals would say.

Substitute Adan Schiffty and democrats for the Lemon/Trump supporters and you have a perfect description of the media and democrats right now. Democrats always project who they fear the most. They have to know that the democrats are self destructing in a most painfully obvious way right now. They don't care about you Don, just getting their own back against Trump and the voters.

Imagine a socially maladept but extremely wealthy friend of yours was told, “People like tap dancing. You should tap-dance more.” You would cringe when the person was telling you about a major career setback and suddenly lurched into a little tap-dancing interlude. “Did I ever tell you about the time the world turned to ashes for me?” Tap-tap, tappity-tap. You’d feel sorry for your friend but mainly you’d feel that this person is deeply weird. At some point in recent years one or more of Hillary Clinton’s many handlers, advisers, or consultants told her, “You should laugh more. People like laughter.” Except she is sour, dour,

A former House information-technology staffer who became the center of fevered right-wing conspiracy theories about espionage and extortion filed a lawsuit Tuesday against The Daily Caller, alleging the conservative website defamed him and his relatives. The 23-page complaint from former Democratic IT staffer Imran Awan was filed Tuesday afternoon in D.C. Superior Court. Awan and the other plaintiffs—his wife, two of his brothers, and a friend, all of whom worked with Awan in Democratic House IT services—named as defendants The Daily Caller, the nonprofit Daily Caller News Foundation, DCNF reporter Luke Rosiak, and conservative publisher Regnery, which published a 2019 book Rosiak wrote about Awan.

Borders: Trump’s plan features a map of what Israel’s new borders will be, should it enact the plan fully. Israel will retain 20% of the West Bank and will lose a small amount of land in the Negev near the Gaza-Egypt border. The Palestinians will have a pathway to a state in the vast majority of territory in the West Bank, while Israel will maintain control of all borders. This is the first time a US president has provided a detailed map of this kind. In 2005, Joe Biden’s brother bought an acre of land with excellent ocean views on a remote island in the Caribbean for $150,000. He divided it into three parcels, and the next year a lobbyist close to the Delaware senator bought one of the parcels for what had been the cost of the entire property. Later, the lobbyist gave Biden’s brother a mortgage loan on the remaining parcels. The Virgin Islands land deal, reported here for the first time, furthers a pattern in which members of the Biden family have engaged in financial dealings with people with an interest in influencing the former vice president.

Washington- Dare we call it the Trump Revolution? We call the presidency of Ronald Reagan the Reagan Revolution. Well, consider what Donald Trump has achieved in but three years. He has revived the economy with ample growth, historic low levels of unemployment, and efficiencies in the economy thanks to the removal of unnecessary stultifying regulations. He promises more if reelected. He has assured international peace and stability. Becoming a prominent terrorist is no longer a smart career choice. Longevity can be problematic. And the president has assured a judicial system stocked with men and women who really believe in the rule of law. Furthermore, he has brought us two

The Democrat-led House is set next week to vote on legislation to override the 27 states that have given workers a right to work without being forced to join a union or to give it a cut of their paycheck. House Education and Labor Committee Chairman Bobby Scott, a Virginia Democrat, argued that such "right-to-work" laws are unfair to unions and the workers that back collective bargaining, necessitating his bill, the Protecting the Right to Organize Act. “Under current law, unions are required to negotiate on behalf of all employees, regardless if they belong to the union or not," Scott told the Washington Examiner. Nike has stopped selling Kobe Bryant merchandise on their website to prevent resellers from profiting on the NBA legend’s death, a report said. When shoppers search for Bryant’s products on the Nike website, they’re now directed to a statement from the company about the star’s death. The decision to pull the merchandise off the digital sale rack was made to thwart buyers who will likely resell the gear at a higher price, ESPN reported, citing company sources. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were killed along with seven other people when the helicopter they were flying in crashed near Los Angeles in California.

“Left but not woke” is the Bernie Sanders brand. If anybody failed to recognize it before, nobody can miss it now. Last week, the mega-podcaster Joe Rogan endorsed Sanders. The Sanders campaign tweeted a video of the Rogan endorsement from Sanders’s own account. That tweet then triggered an avalanche of disapproval from other voices in the Democratic coalition. Rogan is not an ally to the cultural causes that have come to predominate on the contemporary left. He even mocks many of those causes, while also dancing around conspiratorial thinking of the left and right fringes: 9/11 denialism, Obama birtherism, and speculation about dark deeds concerning Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation.

Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, delivering a spirited constitutional defense of President Trump at his Senate impeachment trial Monday night, flatly turned toward House impeachment managers and declared they had picked "dangerous" and "wrong" charges against the president -- noting that neither "abuse of power" nor "obstruction of Congress" was remotely close to an impeachable offense as the framers had intended. In a dramatic primetime moment, the liberal constitutional law scholar reiterated that although he voted for Hillary Clinton, he could not find constitutional justification for the impeachment of a president for non-criminal conduct, or conduct that was not at least "akin" to defined criminal conduct.

It is an old rule of journalism that it is better to get it right than to get it first. But after seeing how reporters reacted Sunday to news of retired NBA star Kobe Bryant's death, you could be forgiven for thinking that such a rule no longer exists, if it ever existed at all. The former Los Angeles Laker was among nine people killed Sunday morning in a helicopter crash in Southern California. The other victims include Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna, one of her teammates on her basketball team, the teammate’s parent, and the pilot. Those are the facts. Thanks to a 4-hour documentary about herself, which premiered to great Progressive buzz at the Sundance Film Festival, Hillary’s in the news again. More than that, she’s doing so at a time when Democrats are panicking about Bernie’s increasing lead in New Hampshire and the general pressure he’s putting on “mainstream” candidate Joe Biden. Sane Democrats strongly suspect that, while Bernie’s manna for the base, most Americans are not going to vote for a candidate who still adores socialism despite the Gulags, the reeducation camps, and those nasty National Socialist gas chambers. But Clinton’s most prominent return to the public eye has come at the Sundance Film Festival, where the former Secretary of State unveiled a candid four-hour documentary series, “Hillary.” Clinton is aware that some thought she would slink away after 2016. “Yes, they did, didn’t they?” Clinton said in an interview in Park City. “Well, that was never an option.” Nanette Burstein’s “Hillary,” which Hulu

Joe Biden suggested on Tuesday that the Obamas would be appointed to high office if he were elected in 2020, telling voters the former first lady could be his running mate, while her husband was destined for the Supreme Court, provided he wanted the appointment. The former vice president made the promise during a campaign town hall in Iowa, where he was asked by a voter if he would consider appointing Obama to the Supreme Court. “Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it,” Biden said in response. “He’d be a great Supreme Court justice.” When the voters clarified that he had not stipulated which member

On impeachment, Mitt Romney has thrown a spanner in the works. What looked like a speedy scrapping of the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump, premised on Democrats beclowning themselves, is now on hold. Romney says that John Bolton's "bombshell" about a supposed Ukrainian aid-for-investigation quid pro quo is so significant it merits calling Bolton as a witness in the Senate impeachment trial, just as Democrats have been calling for, though not enough to call him in at the House. You’ve got to hand it to the Democrats -- they can hold their caucus together for the flimsiest of causes. The GOP, though, has all these RINOs who have to establish their independence; they’re willing to break party unity when it serves their own ambitions. Three senators – Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, and Mitt Romney of Utah – are rumored to be willing for witnesses to be called in the impeachment trial now underway in the Senate. Obviously, such a slowdown benefits the Democrats, who want the impeachment to headline news reports as long as possible.
