The latest impeachment related story — a non-story in my view — is about a tape recording in which President Trump (according to reports) instructed associates to fire Marie Yovanovitch, the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. The recording apparently was made at a dinner party in April 2018 by Igor Fruman, one of Rudy Giuliani’s main Ukraine operatives (along with Lev Parnas).
Yovanovitch wasn’t fired until May 2019. Thus, there is less to this story than meets the eye.
Nor did much meet the eye to begin with. According to reports, Trump demanded that Yovanovitch be fired after he heard she was bad mouthing the president in Ukraine.

So what? She worked for him. If he wants her fired it's nobody's business but his. Period.

This cry baby woman was obviously working for the interests of Ukraine and not of the USA. The State Dept. the FBI, the Justice Dept' and various other agencies are full of people like her...……..working against Trump and part or the coup bunch.
This cry-baby woman was obviously working for the interests of Ukraine and not for the interests of the USA. There are others like her infiltrated (left-over Obama cronies) in every agency of the government. These are the critters of the swamp that were supposed to have been drained out but are still there. Trump needs to have a "Saturday night massacre" of these traitors if he is to continue to keep America great.
Time is up....no more stalling......get them out of there !!!

NBC's "The Today Show" was foaming at the mouth this am. I'm thinking Trump was setting up a blind date or something.

The President can hire/fire any Ambassador he chooses. When there is discord amongst those whose job it is to enlighten others on American Foreign Policy overseas, they must be kicked to the curb. The President sets policy, not the State Dept.

How does somebody get a tape recorder past the Secret Service? Can Trump trust his security detail at this point? Too bad the replacement prosecutor for Shokin, Lutsenko, didn't record his meeting with Yovanavich where she dictated that he drop all the pending cases of 5 Ukrainian officials that had provided dirt on Paul Manafort to the DNC operative Alexandra Chalupa. He only took notes on the names which he showed to John Solomon.

How the heck is there a recording of Trump at a private dinner? Where the frig did this thing come from? And who leaked it?
The President's mistake was not firing her on January 20, 2017. On January 20, 2021, every single Obama holdover better be off the government payroll. Not tucked away in CIA ,DOD or the Forest Ministry if there is one. If they are not civil servants, they should be pounding the pavement. Period. Trump has shown that the scores and scores of taxpayer funded bureaucrats are not needed. He has been had the most successful administration in three years, probably since Washington and all without these shiny pants civil servants. In fact, these guys were all acting against him and he STILL was successful. Get rid of the bureaucracy, Mr. President and give us an even bigger tax cut!

Investigative journalist John Solomon refuted Lt. Colonel Vindman hearsay with 28 facts and the documented evidence to support his thoroughly researched facts. Several facts of the 28 contradict Marie Yovanovitch hearsay including the political elites protection list she claims didn't exist. When John Solomon isn't being criminally monitored without judicial warrant by Adam Schiff can he not testify with physical evidence?

The content is meaningless; Trump can fire any Ambassador anytime he wants for any reason or none at all. The date is significant; it's allegedly from April 2018. If Trump decided to fire Yovanovich in April 2018 -- before Joe Biden was a candidate for anything besides "Dotard of the Year," before Trump had any motive to do anything to Joe, before Trump is alleged to have been gunning for Hunter, and... before Zelinsky was President of Ukraine. Kinda maybe sorta utterly undercuts Schiff's blathering that Trump fired Yovanovich because she wouldn't play ball in twisting Zelinsky's arm to investigate Hunter Biden, no?

Didn't barry fire all of them when he took office?

#13, that was different because LOOK! A SQUIRREL!!
Seriously, the DNCMSM sang from the same "Hypocrisy Hymnal" when they savaged GWB for firing a few US Attorneys... utterly and conveniently ignoring the fact that his immediate predecessor, the sainted William Jefferson Clinton, fired every last one of them as soon as he took office.

They want it to sound like he is a tyrant who just fires anyone who talks bad about him. I am sure she was worthless in her job anyway and whether or not she bad mouthed him, she should be fired.

The meeting happened in April 2018, she was fired in May 2019? Only the fake media & dems would think firing someone after a year is considered revenge. Her own country advised Trump to fire her.
